“Ron is a treasure. I was very hesitant to leave my 2 year old pup with someone, but felt confident with Ron after our first interview. His home is neat, clean, and pet friendly with a beautiful, safe backyard. Our first booking was for 3 days to orient my Charlie-girl to Ron, preceding the 2 upcoming long stays I have booked. Total success! Ron sent pictures and comments each day and it was clear that Charlie was getting superior care. Ron is loving and cares for his boarders, and his dog Lexi is very patient with having another dog in the house getting attention.”

“This was my first time using Rover for overnight boarding of my two puppies. I was pleasantly surprised with Farrah! She was responsive and provided good updates on my furbabies. Her location is in a VERY nice part of town. I would book with her again because she took great care of my furbabies.”

“Filanthi and her daughter were so loving to my senior dog, Nugget. I appreciate their enthusiasm and attention given to my dog who has limited vision and is hard of hearing. Nugget also enjoyed hanging out with their senior dog which made his stay more comfortable.”

“Amazing people! I left my puppers with them for 2 days and they sent pics and updates constantly which was great especially because my dog is so skiddish with new people at first! Thankful to have had them board Athena 😊”

“Ronnie and his little pups are wonderful! He’s very caring and gentle with my blind senior dog. My young puppy loved playing with his dogs. My boys had a great time and will be back again.”

“I’m so grateful to Katie and her family for taking such wonderful care of Ozzie! From the moment I dropped him off, I felt comfortable knowing he was in loving and caring hands. Katie was amazing about following Ozzie’s diet and making sure he stayed on his normal routine. She also kept me updated as needed and sent me photos of her and Ozzie playing together, which was so reassuring and made me happy to see that he was having a great time. ❤️🐾 I also really appreciated how flexible Katie was with my pickup time. Her kindness, communication, and willingness to accommodate made the whole experience completely stress-free. It was clear that Ozzie was happy, comfortable, and treated like part of the family. I truly appreciate all the love and attention Katie and her family gave him. I highly recommend them to anyone looking for a trustworthy, caring, and loving home for their dog. Ozzie will definitely be staying with them again! ❤️”

I could tell right away that he was in great hands — she sent tons of pics and check-ins throughout the stay, and Kirby looked so comfortable and happy in every single one. As someone who’s a little obsessed with my dog, that peace of mind means everything to me. Her house is clean, and the neighborhood felt safe and welcoming. She and her partner are just an amazing couple, and I’d trust them with Kirby again in a heartbeat. Highly recommend! I can’t wait to snuggle my doooood!”

About: I have owned and cared for all types of animals my whole life. 90lb malamute to 7lb chihuahua. Cats, chickens, birds, horses.. i am a friend to all creatures and I would love to care for your pet while you are busy. I love long walks and am not afraid of the weather unless it effects the animal. I currently have an open schedule and am looking forward to making some cash while getting used to the area and waiting for my winter job to start. Safety is my first priority. I prefer harness while walking dogs and try to find routes away from any main or busy roads. I am prepared with dog bags and water for all pups. I enjoy long walks to a patk like area when possible.

About: Besides having my own cats, I have cared for neighbors and friends cats since I was 12 years old. My own kitty is 18 years old now, requiring daily medication, baths, and health checks. I am no stranger to shy, timid kitties! But of course I would never deny a cuddle bug.
“This is the 2nd time sassy has help out with my dogs and she was amazing. She updated me with how everything was going with them as well and sent pictures. I’ll definitely be using her again.”

About: I had a childhood cat, named Midnight for 5 years. I also took care of the other 3 cats in my parent's home. One that was a short-legged cat named Mufasta and gave birth to a litter of kittens that I was also in charge of. There is an old friend who I watched their Maine Coon inside my home for a month. I only had my Ava at the time and had to keep them separated due to the Maine Coon being violent towards other animals and my children. Even though it was rough and suffered deep injuries in my left leg in the end. I stuck through keeping the cat for that entire month because my friend needed time to get a new home situated.
“Our babies are hard to get to know without us there to coax a relationship with a new person, usually very food based and time consuming.? Somehow, Sierra managed to get our antisocial old man to come and greet her beyond the food bowl run, who is usually worse for the wear when someone else is caring for him!? She cared for a few plants and they looked better than I when I had left, and the kitties...most importantly, seemed quite content on our arrival despite only having every other day visits! We looked forward to staying up and looking at all the cute updates she gave us on their wellbeing? We really appreciated the fact that she wouldn't charge us more for having 2 cats, as they are very easy to care for. Most Rover sitters do this and it just seems unnecessary with cats, although we were fine with paying whatever needed to make sure they were happy. Bird feeder was empty coming home but we even had a hard time keeping up with refill due to the fires at the time, wildlife was pretty hungry, and I suspect they just emptied it before we came!? She cared for plants, outside birds for cat TV, and our cats for one flat rate! Even being concerned we may be stuck longer in FL due to Hurricane Ian's arrival, we were never less worried about the care of our babies on a trip! They were happy, loved on, and needs were met...which is sad to say but sometimes isn't the case having a friend/family member and even a Rover sitter in MI who had cared for them in our stead. (<-she did fine but no connection was made with our babies and only bare basics were handled) This is the first vacation that my husband and I truly felt that we could relax and know our little family back home was doing well, and were able to enjoy the little bit of fleeting time spent with family for the year.? We're new to the area, so finding a sitter who makes it possible and relaxing to go away for even a few days is the biggest godsend? We will definitely be booking her each and every time we have to leave our two fur babies at home.? Thank you for a relaxing time away, Sierra!!”
“Janet did a great job we were very happy with the care she provided for my kitties. We would definitely use her again we loved all the pictures she sent us. Always responded to my text. She is very nice and my babies liked her even Milo who is afraid of people.”

“Joan is the best! We've hired her several times to care for our three cats (one being an elderly 18 year old, fussy cat). They know Joan and love her visits when we are away. She is reliable, goes above and beyond and we HIGHLY recommend her.”

“I recently gave my cat to Ronnie for the evening and couldn’t be happier! He is clearly very experienced with animals and shows so much love and care when he has them. I will definitely be calling him in the future and I reccomend you do too!”

Here if walks, drop ins for 1+ hours if needed. I work full time. 7am-5pm 4 days a week. Always have Saturday and Sunday’s off, also usually have Wednesdays off. Willing to do drop ins before/after work if needed. As well as multiple drop ins, walks on my days off. I do have a fur baby of my own now. Her name is Josie, she is a 3 year old black lab. Unfortunately having her I can’t do over night stays. I would also leave her at home for walks with your fur baby and drop ins.

“Nikki was absolutely wonderful with our dogs, Enero and Angelina! From the moment we met her, it was clear she genuinely loves animals and treats them like family. While we were away, she kept us updated with plenty of photos and videos, which gave us so much peace of mind. It wasn't just that she was doing her job—it was obvious from the way she interacted with them that she truly cared about their happiness, comfort, and well-being. Both dogs looked relaxed, happy, and well-loved in every update. Nikki went above and beyond to make sure they were cared for, and we could tell they enjoyed their time with her. We highly recommend Nikki to anyone looking for a trustworthy, caring, and attentive pet sitter. We would gladly have her watch Enero and Angelina again!”

About: Hi, I go by Ashton. I began working with dogs in a professional setting in 2011 in Anchorage Alaska. I received my Certificate to be a Professional Dog Trainer through Animal Behavior College and immediately began working along side seasoned obedience, behavior modification and agility trainers. After some time I was able to begin mentoring new trainers in basic obedience, teaching them how to run puppy and adult basic obedience group classes. Though my profession career began in 2011, my passion for working with dogs truly started many years before that, here in Reno,NV, when I adopted a Chow Chow named Leo. I was just a teenager and Leo had come with several severe behavioral issues. He was both human and dog aggressive, destructive, not house broken, had sever separation anxiety, ran aware regularly and was leash reactive. Despite being uneducated in dog behavior at the time, I began to do my own research and was dedicated to teaching Leo how to feel safe, happy and confident so that he would overcome his many barriers. We walked every day and I tirelessly worked toward socializing him. When I moved to Alaska, I took Leo with me, he became my practice dog and we learned dog behavior together! In no time, he was attending puppy class with me, rolling on the floor letting puppies jump all over him. He was going on walks with other leash reactive dogs, HE was the calm presence that helped other dogs see that it was all okay. Leo learned to love people and other animals, he learn to trust and because of him and everything he overcame, my heart was set on making that difference in as many lives as I possibly could. In 2024, as a single parent, I made the difficult choice to "retire" from dog training to focus on feeding other passions and traveling with my daughter. During that time I have continued to have a lovely time with my own dogs and the dogs of close family members, but I am starting to feel the ache of wanting to help again. I have decided to offer limited services related to dog walking, drop in visits, play dates, nail trims and limited bathing/grooming. (Oh, did I mention I used to be a dog foster parent, groomer and kennel tech alongside my training?) I have outline my services in more detail below; however, feel free to reach out with any questions if you don't see what you are looking for! I look forward to hearing from you :) I am offering evening walks Monday - Friday, drop in visits and extended walks on Saturdays and Sundays. Dog Daycare is available for limited hours on Sundays and will be accepted on a case by case basis. Loose leash walking training can be provided in conjunction with walks at an additional cost. Please message for details. All dogs are required to be collared with identification for walks. I will request a microchip number if they have been chipped in the event of an emergency. For your dogs safety and mine: If your dog is an extreme puller, I may request to be allowed to use tools such as an easy walk harness and sort lead. If I do not have your dogs size, I may request you purchase one.

“Very communicative and took great care of our pup! It was my first time leaving our dog with someone else and she did an OUTSTANDING job, our dog settled in quick and had a great time. Thank you!”

“Kat and Corey were wonderful! They took excellent care of our special-needs bulldog and made us feel completely at ease while we were away. It was clear she was well cared for and loved. We would absolutely trust them with her again and highly recommend them to anyone looking for caring, dependable sitters!”
