Now that I have met April & Rachel, I would not take Kilo any place else to watch our boy. I felt so comfortable after our meet & greet with the living arrangements and with the humans watching over him. I knew he would be treated like a king and in good safe hands. I didn’t have to worry about him the whole time I was gone. April & Rachel sent us photos/videos of Kilo so that I could see first hand how he was doing. He was getting the love and attention (even more than when he is at home) and this made us very happy. It’s nice to know he’s in great hands when we are away. April & Rachel will be my first call for my next trip and I would recommend them for your pups too. 🐶 🐾”

About: I grew up with cats and was responsible for taking care of their needs growing up. I currently have two cats of my own who are very spoiled, and have watched cats for several friends over the past few years when they need to get out of town. I understand how to match a cats energy, whether it is a hyper kitty or an elderly cat that needs a calm approach.

About: I have never owned cats, but know a lot of people with one. I’ve taken care of a friends cat once before. I enjoy being around cats, and am aware it takes patience for cats to become comfortable. I would love to take care of a well trained/behaved cat!

“Our babies are hard to get to know without us there to coax a relationship with a new person, usually very food based and time consuming.? Somehow, Sierra managed to get our antisocial old man to come and greet her beyond the food bowl run, who is usually worse for the wear when someone else is caring for him!? She cared for a few plants and they looked better than I when I had left, and the kitties...most importantly, seemed quite content on our arrival despite only having every other day visits! We looked forward to staying up and looking at all the cute updates she gave us on their wellbeing? We really appreciated the fact that she wouldn't charge us more for having 2 cats, as they are very easy to care for. Most Rover sitters do this and it just seems unnecessary with cats, although we were fine with paying whatever needed to make sure they were happy. Bird feeder was empty coming home but we even had a hard time keeping up with refill due to the fires at the time, wildlife was pretty hungry, and I suspect they just emptied it before we came!? She cared for plants, outside birds for cat TV, and our cats for one flat rate! Even being concerned we may be stuck longer in FL due to Hurricane Ian's arrival, we were never less worried about the care of our babies on a trip! They were happy, loved on, and needs were met...which is sad to say but sometimes isn't the case having a friend/family member and even a Rover sitter in MI who had cared for them in our stead. (<-she did fine but no connection was made with our babies and only bare basics were handled) This is the first vacation that my husband and I truly felt that we could relax and know our little family back home was doing well, and were able to enjoy the little bit of fleeting time spent with family for the year.? We're new to the area, so finding a sitter who makes it possible and relaxing to go away for even a few days is the biggest godsend? We will definitely be booking her each and every time we have to leave our two fur babies at home.? Thank you for a relaxing time away, Sierra!!”

It’s not just my animals I watch but family and friends come to me when they want someone who loves watching their babies. Also reptiles, birds, and fish. About: I have a Norweign Elkhound. We go on walks and hikes around the park. I have experience watching small and medium dogs. I am not working right now so I can walk your dog without my dog anytime I will bring baby in a baby carrier I don’t mind going on several walks a day and giving pets love and attention. I can walk your dog as many times as you like With my baby and my Norwegian elkhound but my dog is friendly and if it's boarding just the baby. I can separate the dogs if you like

About: I've had animals my whole life but started professionally working with them about 5 years ago. My own animals are special needs, so I know what it's like to need someone to care for them. About: My childhood was surrounded by dogs. When I was 12, I had to completely take care of 4 pit bulls, a Dotson, a mixed breed medium sized dog, and 3 cats. I have watched a few friends and family's pets over the years. Before I moved here, I actually helped my cousin take care of his senior husky with low energy that needed shots for a medical condition and a 2 year old German shepherd with all the energy in the world. My foster mom also bred pugs for a living, and have had to help the momma pug give birth while my foster parents were gone. I also have a 4 year old female Black Mouth Cur named Ava, that I have had since 6 months old, and a 2 year old male pitbull terrier rescue named Bosco, that I have had for a year and counting. He is full of fear and needs a lot of patience to work through it, but after 5 months of touch and go work, he now knows what play is and has his own toys! He also is scared to eat or seems to not know what his feeding bowl is, but after different ways to show that feeding time is okay, he is slowly gaining the weight he should be at! Treats were his sweet spot for knowing it is a safe place, and my sweet Ava sped the process for getting him comfortable in his new home and now commandeers my clothing to sleep with in his bed. Due to Bosco being a rescue and has become very protective is why I can't offer in home sitting in my home but am open to dog sitting at client's homes. I am currently a new stay at home mom. I take care of my two boys and my two fur babies. I am more than ready to help others with their fur babies. Due to behavior of one of my dogs, I would not be able to comfortably care for your fur babies in my own home, but I will do the utmost care for your fur babies in your home! Give me all the rules you need followed; Outside during certain times, feeding strategies, don't sit in a certain spot or area in the home. Nothing is too much to handle! I have even taken care of dogs with potty issues and needed baths for their health care and hygiene of your home.

About: Hi, I go by Ashton. I began working with dogs in a professional setting in 2011 in Anchorage Alaska. I received my Certificate to be a Professional Dog Trainer through Animal Behavior College and immediately began working along side seasoned obedience, behavior modification and agility trainers. After some time I was able to begin mentoring new trainers in basic obedience, teaching them how to run puppy and adult basic obedience group classes. Though my profession career began in 2011, my passion for working with dogs truly started many years before that, here in Reno,NV, when I adopted a Chow Chow named Leo. I was just a teenager and Leo had come with several severe behavioral issues. He was both human and dog aggressive, destructive, not house broken, had sever separation anxiety, ran aware regularly and was leash reactive. Despite being uneducated in dog behavior at the time, I began to do my own research and was dedicated to teaching Leo how to feel safe, happy and confident so that he would overcome his many barriers. We walked every day and I tirelessly worked toward socializing him. When I moved to Alaska, I took Leo with me, he became my practice dog and we learned dog behavior together! In no time, he was attending puppy class with me, rolling on the floor letting puppies jump all over him. He was going on walks with other leash reactive dogs, HE was the calm presence that helped other dogs see that it was all okay. Leo learned to love people and other animals, he learn to trust and because of him and everything he overcame, my heart was set on making that difference in as many lives as I possibly could. In 2024, as a single parent, I made the difficult choice to "retire" from dog training to focus on feeding other passions and traveling with my daughter. During that time I have continued to have a lovely time with my own dogs and the dogs of close family members, but I am starting to feel the ache of wanting to help again. I have decided to offer limited services related to dog walking, drop in visits, play dates, nail trims and limited bathing/grooming. (Oh, did I mention I used to be a dog foster parent, groomer and kennel tech alongside my training?) I have outline my services in more detail below; however, feel free to reach out with any questions if you don't see what you are looking for! I look forward to hearing from you :) I am offering evening walks Monday - Friday, drop in visits and extended walks on Saturdays and Sundays. Dog Daycare is available for limited hours on Sundays and will be accepted on a case by case basis. Loose leash walking training can be provided in conjunction with walks at an additional cost. Please message for details. All dogs are required to be collared with identification for walks. I will request a microchip number if they have been chipped in the event of an emergency. For your dogs safety and mine: If your dog is an extreme puller, I may request to be allowed to use tools such as an easy walk harness and sort lead. If I do not have your dogs size, I may request you purchase one.

About: Hello! I have been taking care of pets since I was 4 years old starting with my Rottweiler and taking in a lot of cats. I have grown up raising pitbulls, pugs, german shepards and enjoy each of their unique personalities. I have been helping neighbors and friends with their dogs and cats when they are out of town and enjoy spending my time with new furry friends. I work as a medical assistant during the week. I have weekends fully available! Wednesdays are free as well for quick stop ins. I have 2 dogs at home and I know how much those potty breaks matter. I own 2 dogs of my own and I live in an apartment currently. It isnt the best environment, however I am always taking them outside at most every 2 hours and then making sure they go to the dog park or take a long walk each day. Having other people to help take your dogs out when you aren’t home is important, I even need the help too!

Our routine for Leo typically starts with a morning walk to a local dog park for him to roam with his friends. Lately, we have been working on recall training. Later in the day, we typically take Leo on another longer walk, hike, or run. He enjoys playing and naps throughout the day. Between the both of us, one of us is just about always home. We understand that every pet/owners wants and needs vary and we can very easily adapt to those. When it comes to you’re home we will treat your area with the same respect we would treat our own.
About: I have had dogs in my house since before I was born and have never gone a day with out dogs living at home. I love to take my own two dogs on walks and would love to help out others that don’t have the time or ability to take their own out on walks all the time. I currently have my two dogs, two cats and a little zoo made up of different types of pets. I typically work early mornings and I am off by noon most days so a quick afternoon walk is ideal for me. My services are available almost everyday from noon to five in the afternoon. Since I have so many of my own pets I prefer to pet sit at the clients house. I mainly offer dog walking but for any quick day trip over overnighter I am able to stop by to care for your pet and meet their needs.
About: I have years of experience caring for pets of all kinds, from playful puppies to senior companions. My patience, attention to detail, and genuine love for animals set me apart. Whether it’s providing basic training, administering medication, or ensuring plenty of playtime and affection, I treat every pet like family! About: I have a lot of experience with animal sitting, dog walking etc. Growing up my family has always had at least 3 dogs, I have had many cats in my lifetime as well. I have a flexible work schedule. I usually work Tuesday, Thursday and Friday, but it varies. Typically, I work long hours around 10 or 12. I am able to do drop in visits for animals, I love to walk dogs. I provide many different services for animals, let me know what you need!

“Kilo had the best vacation stay with April & Rachel (Aliyah & Honey too). He was so happy and came home exhausted!! He needed a day of RnR from his stay. Now for my personal review. Now that I have met April & Rachel, I would not take Kilo any place else to watch our boy. I felt so comfortable after our meet & greet with the living arrangements and with the humans watching over him. I knew he would be treated like a king and in good safe hands. I didn’t have to worry about him the whole time I was gone. April & Rachel sent us photos/videos of Kilo so that I could see first hand how he was doing. He was getting the love and attention (even more than when he is at home) and this made us very happy. It’s nice to know he’s in great hands when we are away. April & Rachel will be my first call for my next trip and I would recommend them for your pups too. 🐶 🐾”

Gracie is like an (only child dog) she is spoiled we let her go wherever she wants beds,couch, etc, etc. I told her we are not very good parents for a dog, but apparently she did ok at Elizabeth’s house. I had told her feel free to discipline if you need to. Gracie came home in either a very depressed or exhausted state. We all said she is different! We are thinking she had such a good time being with other dogs (Tilley) and the children that things are just to boring at our house!
