I have been a Rover sitter for 6+ years. Because of the repeat clients base I built, my profile was inactive the past few years. I have seen multiple families through two generations of their dogs now and their kids grow up to stay home with animals themselves. This means I am now open to taking new clients. My clients rely on me for walking their pups weekly to daily, staying in their home while away, abiding by regular feeding schedules, and at home care. I even care for a pig! Understanding and working with rescue pets, I have volunteered at the SPCA as a dog walker and have been a foster parent to cats. Families are so appreciative of my ability to walk and care for their leash aggressive dogs. I have a very special place in my heart for caring for senior pets. I prefer larger dogs to small dogs and older dogs to puppies. Fun fact- I grew up with dogs and cats, all with Disney prince and princess names, and currently have a Siberian Norwegian Forest cat named Eugene Fitzherbert. (Reminder about leash aggression though, I am NOT a dog trainer.)

Building trust with the family’s I work for is a priority. Showing up when I say I will, being accountable for the amount of time spent, being respectful of your rules and boundaries, etc.. Safety of animals is my utmost priority. I value positive and complete communication within our working relationship. I also believe that trust works both ways, with honesty and accountability from the owners too. My co sitter Devin is just as reliable and trust worthy as me.

We love Kailey, and our pets do too! She provided wonderful communication throughout our trip and sent daily photos and updates, which gave us so much peace of mind while we were away. Kailey was wonderful with our pup Lou. Kept us updated the whole time with pics and videos, and it was clear Lou was getting great attentive loving care the whole time. Kailey has a calm and patient presence we really appreciated. This was Lou’s first time with a sitter and it was a great success. We’ll happily have Kailey watch Lou again soon!
I would give Kailey 10 stars if I could. She was so awesome, my cats were very well taken of and she sent pictures and videos everyday. It’s very easy to tell how much she loves animals. My cats also loved her cause she sent several pictures of them cuddling with her!! I also came home to such a clean house, it didn’t even look like she stayed here (although I know she definitely did!!). She is most definitely hired!!! Thank you!!!
Kailey is reliable, caring, and communicative. She goes above and beyond for my older cat, making sure she gets her meds and daily dose of affection (which is clear from the regular updates and sweet photos/videos Kailey sends). Kailey truly cares about making sure my old gal is healthy, happy, and comfortable.

Schedule
I currently work part time and have minimal days that I'm away a full 7-8 hours. I will only take on jobs that I can commit a valuable, appropriate, and fair amount of time to pets. My cousin Devin pet sits as well and does meetings with you and check ins for me on occassion. am upfront and communicative about the time I will have to be away from your home during a stay. If I'm doing walks I will require a short amount of buffer time before and after. Rarely will the weather affect my commitment to a routine dog walk. I am currently available most days of the week to check in on your pups or cats. Just ask me about days and times so that we can work with each others schedules and find what will work best!

- I will require knowing if your dogs are sociable/timid with people, dogs or animals. I will also require that proper and correct leashes, collars and harnesses are obtained for your pet depending on their leash ability. Are neutered/spayed? Make sure to list any food allergies or certain items to be aware of dogs chewing. I request to have a clear list of information about your animals schedules, routines, and needs (Preferably printed for me to easily reference.) I do not have any breed preferences (I love all dogs!- and cats!) but I do prefer to work with animals that are more low-key, like seniors. As mentioned before, I am comfortable with dogs still learning good leash behavior. I always do a meet and greet with you and your animals at your home prior to booking, and bring Devin too.
