About: I’ve loved dogs my entire life and have always grown up with them—dogs of all sizes are welcome in my care! I work remotely from home, which allows me to provide near 24-hour supervision and attentive care. I’m able to take frequent breaks throughout the day for potty breaks, playtime, and both indoor and outdoor exercise. I’m also happy to accommodate pets with special needs or health concerns—just let me know what your dog requires. You may notice two different dogs in my photos. The short-haired dog was my previous best friend that passed away from cancer two years ago. He was incredibly special to me, and those photos reflect the strong bond I share with dogs. Caring for him also gave me extensive experience administering medications, including injections, during his cancer treatment. I’m dependable, compassionate, and treat every dog as if they were my own. Pet sitting is something I truly enjoy, and it’s also a meaningful way for me to earn extra income during challenging times. I work remotely from home, which allows me to be with pets nearly all day, every day. Aside from brief outings such as church or grocery shopping, I’m home about 95% of the time. This means your dog will receive plenty of attention, companionship, and supervision throughout the day as well as plenty of potty breaks and outside zoomies! I live alone in a spacious, full-size basement apartment with plenty of room for dogs to relax and roam. My home is equipped with security cameras, allowing me to check in if I ever need to step away briefly. Dogs are welcome on the furniture and bed, and I have a decent-sized yard along with plenty of toys for playtime. I also only use non-toxic, pet friendly, soy candles and wax melts in the home to make sure no fur babies have unwanted reactions. I also have a dog of my own—a 2-year-old Australian Shepherd who is extremely friendly with both dogs and people. He has never been in a fight or shown aggression toward other dogs. If another dog growls at him, he typically walks away or gives up the toy he’s playing with—he’s truly a little pacifist. I strive to provide a safe, comfortable, and stress-free environment where dogs feel right at home.
“Thank you Sofia for everything. She was so friendly and understood when we ran late with traffic. She made our time away peaceful without having to worry about our Hunter. :) thankful for all the photos too.”

“Darlena was the absolute best!! So friendly and loving to our dog Reese. Our dog has addisons disease and is on medication and she gave her her medication every morning. It was nice to be able to leave on vacation and know Reese was taken care of. We all loved getting updates and pictures from Darlena. We will definitely use Darlena again 🐾”

“Jessica was fantastic. Very loving towards dogs. Very accommodating as well. I will send my dog with her every time for now on if I can. Exceptionally clean house and great yard.”

“Jennie and Jeff treated my dog as their own, and kept me updated on her well being by sending me pictures on a regular basis while I was away. I definitely will book with them again!”

“Thank you so much for your help. Had a meet and greet with Tiffanie, she was very caring and patient with our baby Thunder. The plus side was her having her own two pups to keep our baby company.”
“Probably the best Rover sitter I've ever had! My pup got a 3 day vacation and could tell he was loved and cared for by the whole family. I even had to extend his stay due to a flight cancelation and Amanda was so flexible and made me feel my dog was safe! Will definitely book again. I can tell my dog misses her kids ha!”
“We are very grateful to Laura and her family for the love and care they gave my little Lola, it was the first time we left our dog in someone's care and she is the best, we will leave her in her care again in the future, Thank you very much Laura ?❤️?”

“Annette was great! Treated our dog like he was one of her’s. Our dog has so much fun playing around with her two dogs. We got picture and video updates often, which I really appreciated!”

“I highly recommend using Adelaine! She was so great with Bella! I am always so worried when I leave her and Adelaine was good to keep me updated and send me pics so I knew Bella was just fine! This is my first time using her and I will definitely be using her again!”

“Excellent communication. You can really tell Hao cares about the animals. He does a great job communicating and getting to know your dog when you drop off, and keeps you updated at least once a day if not more often with photos of how your dog is doing. He writes and sends succinct and clear updates and doesn’t hesitate to ask if he has any questions about caring for your dog.”

About: I had dogs and cats growing up but have had/cared for dogs as an adult for the last ten years. We have two Cavalier King Charles Spaniels, a fenced front and back yard, and a pet friendly home to welcome your dog. I have had two puppies and took care of a friend's brand new puppy for a month while they moved. I will do everything I can to help your pet feel comfortable and at home while away from you. I have a toddler and work part-time from home. Activities usually only take me away from home for a few hours at a time so your pet is always cared for. I have a fully fenced yard and two dogs so even if I'm away for a short time, they are never alone. We love to play with the dogs, go on walks, let them play in the yard, and snuggle up. I prefer them crated at night (it's how my dogs sleep) and if I leave for a few hours they will need to be crated then as well. I have crates to accommodate that if you can't bring one. We leave water out and available but not food. My dog's eat two times a day but I can accommodate your dogs schedule.
“Kimberly was great with my two cats. I needed a last minute sitter when my family member got very sick right before my trip and was unable to watch them. I felt comfortable and reassured that they were happy and safe the whole time I was gone and was able to enjoy my vacation without worrying about my babies. She gave me an update every day and really understands cats behavior and what it takes for them to feel safe. I will definitely be booking with her again. This was hands-down the best experience I’ve had with a rover. Her own pets are great too.”

“Courtnei & Christopher were absolutely outstanding. Communication was on point from start to finish…clear, timely, and proactive. Zero guessing, zero chasing, zero stress. Zeus couldn’t have landed in a better situation. Between their boys and their pup, he basically went on a mini vacation. Tons of play, real interaction, and genuine care, not just “fed and let outside.” He came home happy, tired, and very obviously loved on like part of their family. That tells you everything you need to know. If you’re looking for sitters who treat your dog like their dog, stop scrolling. These are your people.”

“Eric and Kassidy did an amazing job taking care Olivia! They provided plenty of updates including pictures and messages, which gave me peace of mind while I was away. Olivia looked happy and well-cared for, and I could tell she was in good hands. I highly recommend to any one looking for a reliable and caring dog sitter. I will definitely book again!”

“Lauren was wonderful with our Teddi dog. Teddi is a Pomeranian and Pallion mix dog breed. She is 8years old and weighs 5 pounds. She is an escape artist out doors if she is not a leash. Lauren made sure to keep Teddi on her leash before going outdoors. Right away I knew Teddi was in good hands. It was so nice to get updated from Lauren. And she even captured great pictures of our Teddi. And sent them to me. As soon as I know that I’m going on another vacation I’m messaging Lauren again she is dependable and I know I can trust her to give love and care to anyones pets. It was so nice to enjoy my vacation while knowing our Teddi dog was in good hands. -Renae”

Orem pet parents share their Rover experiences
Lisa and her entire family always provide the BEST care for our dogs! They become a part of their family, and always have a great time. They come home healthy and happy, and we can always truly enjoy our trips knowing they are loved and safe. We highly recommend Lisa and her family to provide a premium experience for your pets!
Madison and Ryan are wonderful! They are flexible and communicate through the whole stay. They send updates and our dog is always happy to have other dog friends to spend time with there. This is our second time using them. Thank you for being such a trusted care giver!
Roxy here, a recent guest of Laura's. I don't want to sound too whiny, but, the truth is, my family doesn't treat me like I'm human. One really mean thing is that when they eat chocolate, they lie to me and tell me that while the chocolate is tasty and fine for them, it will "kill" me. It's sooo obvious that they just don't want to share with me. So, because of this, I was naturally excited to stay at Laura's thinking maybe I'd finally be treated with the respect I deserve. But the worst happened... it was even less humane than my own home. Not only did she tell me the same lies about chocolate, she actually kept the counters cleared of anything that might contain chocolate so I couldn't even steal any. Not that I would have had the chance. I was never even left alone to get an opportunity. I was with Laura and her pack of dogs the whole time. She talked to me like I was one of them! Outrageous. That's why I've left only 5 stars instead of 10. I gave her the five because she did feed me. Even if it was that gross dogfood my family gave her. :( And I guess the dogs were nice, but she didn't even give me a private guest room. I just wish one of these days I'd get treated like the actual human that I am. ------------------------------------------------------------- (Roxy's owner here. Just to clarify, we love how Laura takes care of Roxy when we are away and trust her fully. It's a great relief to know we don't ever need to wonder how Roxy is doing, I know I can trust Laura fully and that I will return to find Roxy happy and healthy.)
