Lifelong animal lover and experienced caregiver. I’ve cared for pets my entire life and treat every dog like family. My father was a veterinarian, and I’ve spent a lifetime learning the importance of attentive, compassionate pet care. I also cared for my diabetic dog for eight years, so I’m comfortable administering medications, following special routines, and paying close attention to every detail. My son, Matt, is also an important part for the care and routine and together we’re committed to providing a safe, loving home and excellent communication throughout your pet’s stay.

Suzanne was absolutely fantastic! She gave me updates while I was gone and took my puppy last minute which was such a help to us. She also was very accommodating with modifying our booking to extend the time we needed! I will definitely use again and highly recommend!
Matthew was amazing! He made sure I felt very comfortable by showing me around the house and yard where our dog would be staying. It was our first time using Rover and we will be going to Suzanne and Matthew every time we use it again in the future.

Schedule
I work weekdays from 7:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., so I’m home afternoons, evenings, weekends, holidays, school breaks, and additional time during the summer. My son, Matt, is also here to help. Although he works outside the home, our schedules complement each other well, allowing us to provide excellent supervision, flexibility, and attentive care throughout the day.

Safety, trust & environment
Our backyard is fully fenced, secure, and designed with safety in mind. We also have a separate gated area, which allows us to safely introduce dogs or provide additional space whenever needed. We’ve recently added a second dedicated boarding room, giving dogs a quiet place to relax if they prefer their own space or need to be separated for comfort or safety. We also provide comfortable dog beds and crates for our guests, although you’re always welcome to bring your dog’s own bed or kennel if that helps them feel more at home. We have two friendly dogs and a cat, and every introduction is done thoughtfully and at each dog’s comfort level. Safety is our top priority. We closely supervise all interactions, pay attention to routines, and work hard to make every dog feel comfortable, secure, and loved. Whether your dog loves to play or simply wants a cozy place to nap, we’ll do everything we can to make their stay feel like a second home.
Pets
A typical day
We’ll do walks, some backyard play in our securely fenced yard, and plenty of downtime in a calm home environment. I’ll follow your dog’s routine and energy level whether they’re more playful and active or more relaxed and low key. We keep a close eye on pets inside and out, and I’m happy to stick to your preferences for feeding, potty breaks, and any usual habits. I’ll also send a quick update so you know how things are going.
