“Heather accepted our big dog as her own and treated him as we would. We are grateful and highly recommend her. We will be coming back whenever we can’t take our big baby with us.”

“Dana and Jack were so flexible with the booking! I was due for a baby and wasn’t fully sure when things would happen, but they modified things and took Fox when it was time. He came home tired and happy. Dana and Jack were great to work with and very communicative!”

“I never worried for one second while I was away and my babies were with Kassidee. They were loved and well taken care of. She was very mindful about introducing my dogs to hers when I dropped them off and everyone got along great! Her pups and kids are sweet as they come. She sent daily updates and photos. My dogs were happy when I came to get them and I could tell they were loved while I was gone. Her yard is secure and I didn't have to worry about my escape artist getting free. I would book with her again and you should too!”

“Brecken was amazing with our dog! She is definitely comfortable with dogs, sent us periodic updates, and loved him like her own. He was well cared for while we were out of town!”

“Cheri is the better sitter we’ve ever had. She sends lots of pictures and videos while we’re are gone and gives tons of updates which we appreciate so much. We love her dog pixie too, she is a great friend to our Scout. We know our pup is in good hands!”

“Samantha and Hunter were amazing. My dog was loved and cared for so well. They sent you pictures and updates everyday. We will definitely be using them again!”

“Kristin was amazing with our little guy! She kept me updated with pictures and texts to show how he was doing. Since this was my first time leaving our little dog I was nervous but she invited me to come meet her first which reassured me a lot. Kovu had an amazing time there and got a ton of snuggles and walks there. No doubt about it Kristin is the best and would recommend her to everyone!!”

“Heather was the best post for Dallas. We’re so happy he was able to stay with Heather and other new friends. We’re definitely gonna reach out when we come back. How do you recommend Heather for your pooch.”

“Absolutely loved Hailey! You can tell she loved our pup! Felt like we could 100% relax on our vacation knowing he was in good hands. Got updates from her and you could tell our pup was happy!”

“Great communication and made our dog part of her family for a couple days. Based on the overall experience I could tell our dog was loved while we were away. Great experience”

“Jed was great! He and his wife are really friendly and he responded promptly which really saved us. We had to move and needed immediate overnight care. He took great care of her. Even with just the short overnight stay she seemed really happy there and got along well with their own dog too.”

“Jennie & Jeff were fantastic! They were super easy to communicate with and great about sending pictures every day. Our dogs were happy and healthy and loved playing with their kids. Plus their proximity to the Provo airport was so nice.”

“Our dogs love it at their house! This is the second time we’ve used them to watch our dogs and when we got out of the car both dogs ran excitedly to their house. Plus, I think pepper gets the ball thrown from her a lot more than at our house.”

“Raechel was awesome! I’m a nervous dog boarder and I had no worries with her. My dog is a little finicky and we had zero issues at all. She sent plenty of updates and my girl had a great time :)”

“Sarah is great to work with! First time using Rover instead of a boarding facility. She made me feel calm about the care my dogs would get and she showed a lot of care with and went above to try and calm one of my dogs that decided to show an separation anxiety attack over me not being there. Unfortunately it was in the dogs best interest that I change my plans for the weekend. I would definitly book Sarah again, if she's willing to give it another try with my dogs and once I get his separation anxiety resolved.”

“Absolutely amazing! It was great to be able to enjoy my vacation and not worry about my dog’s safety. My dog gets so excited when she gets to stay with Stacy and Jacob’s family. They are very knowledgeable on dogs and how to make your pet feel happy and comfortable. They sent me updates and adorable pictures! I highly highly recommend them!”

“I highly recommend using Adelaine! She was so great with Bella! I am always so worried when I leave her and Adelaine was good to keep me updated and send me pics so I knew Bella was just fine! This is my first time using her and I will definitely be using her again!”

Brecken was so incredible! She truly went above and beyond! I always get so nervous leaving my pup behind but we immediately felt at ease with Brecken! She and her husband took fantastic care of our dog and we will absolutely be using her again! Thanks so much for everything Brecken!!

Saige was awesome with our dog Skye! She sent us frequent updates in the form of pictures or videos so it was easy to see how much Skye was enjoying herself. This was my first time boarding Skye with someone I didn't know since she was a young puppy so I was a little nervous, but Saige was great and so Skye had a great time. Will definitely be bringing her back next time we go out of town!

Super happy with our 1st experience! I was so nervous to leave my baby girl, I wrote Lisa a whole book of instructions, and she was so understanding and informative, sharing such good information to give me peace of mind. My KOA had so much fun, she came out super happy.

Heather is so amazing and considerate. This was our first time leaving our dog with anyone. My autistic son was so nervous and scared and she handled it with such care and professionalism. I would highly recommend her to anyone. As a family we are also so grateful excited to know we can now go places because we have a trustworthy person who can take care of our Bear while we are gone.

Preparing for drop-off is easy when you have a checklist! To help your dog settle into their Orem home-away-from-home, we recommend packing:
- Health and safety essentials such as their ID tags, vaccination records, medication, and emergency vet or secondary caregiver contacts.
- Food and gear such as harnesses, collars, food (portioned by day), and an item that smells like you.

The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in UT ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
