I work remotely from home, which allows me to be with pets nearly all day, every day. Aside from brief outings such as church or grocery shopping, I’m home about 95% of the time. This means your dog will receive plenty of attention, companionship, and supervision throughout the day as well as plenty of potty breaks and outside zoomies!

Safety, trust & environment

I live alone in a spacious, full-size basement apartment with plenty of room for dogs to relax and roam. My home is equipped with security cameras, allowing me to check in if I ever need to step away briefly. Dogs are welcome on the furniture and bed, and I have a decent-sized yard along with plenty of toys for playtime. I also only use non-toxic, pet friendly, soy candles and wax melts in the home to make sure no fur babies have unwanted reactions.

Information Erin M. would like to know about your pet

I do have a dog of my own. He is a high-energy, 2-year-old Australian Shepherd who absolutely loves other animals and people. He is neutered and very social. If your dog prefers a calmer environment or isn’t comfortable around high-energy play, please let me know in advance. I’m happy to keep dogs separated as needed, or we can determine together whether it’s the right fit for your pet.

A typical day

Dogs in my care enjoy a structured and active daily routine. We start the day with a morning walk, followed by potty breaks at least every two hours. During outdoor time, we play fetch to help burn off energy and keep the zoomies at bay. In the evening, we go on another walk to wind down. Depending on the dog’s energy level and owner preferences, we may also go on a hike or visit a local dog park (Art Dye Park). Evenings end with plenty of cuddles and downtime. I’m happy to send photo updates throughout the day as often as owners would like, so you can feel confident and connected while your pet is in my care.

24 Hour Care For Your Dog

Pet care experience

I’ve loved dogs my entire life and have always grown up with them. Dogs of all sizes are welcome in my care! I work remotely from home, which allows me to provide near 24-hour supervision and attentive care. I’m able to take frequent breaks throughout the day for potty breaks, playtime, and both indoor and outdoor exercise. I’m also happy to accommodate pets with special needs or health concerns. Just let me know what your dog requires. You may notice two different dogs in my photos. The short-haired dog was my previous best friend that passed away from cancer two years ago. He was incredibly special to me, and those photos reflect the strong bond I share with dogs. Caring for him also gave me extensive experience administering medications, including injections, during his cancer treatment. I’m dependable, compassionate, and treat every dog as if they were my own. Pet sitting is something I truly enjoy, and it’s also a meaningful way for me to earn extra income during challenging times.

Erin was excellent with handling our big boy. Her sweet dog was also wonderful to have around to keep Jeffrey entertained. She sent daily pictures and Jeff seemed to have a great time. Will definitely use her again if available.

Erin was great with my dog, he is usually very scared and timid around people he doesn't know but he warmed right up to her and was very comfortable. She sent lots of photos and updates on how he was doing!
