About: I've missed out on having more cats in my life since family members I grew up with were allergic. I never developed the allergy probably because my nature is cat-like :) Throughout 2025 I helped foster my neighbor's indoor cat. I would cover for the foster parent whenever they went on vacation and loved sharing extended time with their beautiful, curious cat. I welcome more of that energy in my life!

About: We have been married for 10+ years now and have a 4 young kids. in 2020 we got our little Penny (shihtzu/wiener dog/chihuahua mix) and since then our kids have been obsessed with dogs. Clayton had a long haired dachshund from the time he was born till he was 16 and has loved dogs his whole life. We have a large fenced in backyard that’s any small/medium sized dogs dream. About: I grew up helping take care of my childhood dog with anxiety, I've pet sat for many neighbors and family, and I had 2 cats I shared responsibilities with roomates, and now I have one of my own. Since I love animals so much this seemed like a perfect opportunity to earn some extra money :) I currently work part-time at a local pet store. They are very flexible with scheduling, so as long as I have some notice, I am available whenever would be best for your pet(s). About: I have taken care of dogs since I was very young, including watching neighbors dogs while they were away. More recently during my first year of college I walked two borzois a few times a week during the summer. I also stayed overnight taking care of a friend’s lab for an entire week. We've been housemates for a few years now. Gently combing her curly hair is my favorite. I have an adaptable flow where I can give a pet activity if they are young and need it, or take it easy if they are older. I work with a flexible schedule from my laptop between Salt Lake County and Utah County, so I can adapt to your needs too! I like to first ask what schedule or routine your pet is used to and see how closely I can match that and their temperament. I'm used to an easeful morning, getting sun during lunch, and then some other kind of outing later in the evening even if it's just a walk. I like to try to make it to a team meeting Thursdays and Fridays in Salt Lake. I can time it so I'm not gone for long, or I can reschedule meetings depending on the circumstances, commute, animal temperament, etc. I'm happy to come to your place or host your pet at mine. I'm in a condo so I'll limit my boarding services to one pet at a time. If it's possible for me to come to you and get acquainted with your pet before overnight stays, I'd prefer that for more easeful transitions. If you come to my place, my apartment complex has green spaces and waste bag dispensaries distributed throughout the property where I walk my dog-niece in the evening. But during the day the dog is away with my sibling and I'm all alone. So your pet will have my attention. I'll ensure pets have their own separate, undisturbed sleeping space. If I come to your space, then of course your pet will be most familiar and cozy.

I’ve assisted with whelping, bottlefed and nursed weak newborn puppies, administered medications and vaccinations, and cared for dogs with special medical and physical needs. One of the most meaningful experiences I’ve had was raising a puppy that was born with only three legs. I provided the extra care, training, and support he needed until he was ready to join a loving family. Seeing him thrive in a home with an owner who also had a missing leg is something I’ll never forget. Experiences like that taught me that every dog deserves individualized care and compassion. Every family that a dog has been placed with continues to stay in touch with me and send me updates and pictures. I genuinely love all dogs just as I would a family member. I understand that every dog has a unique personality and routine. Your dog’s safety, happiness, and comfort are my top priorities. I have a large, fully fenced backyard where dogs can safely run, play, and explore under supervision. Whether your dog enjoys playing fetch, going on walks, sticking to a consistent routine, or simply relaxing with lots of love and attention, I’ll make sure they feel right at home. I understand how hard it can be to leave your pet with someone else, so I’ll care for your dog as if they were my own and keep you updated with plenty of photos and messages for peace of mind. Pet care fits naturally into my daily routine because I spend most of my time at home. This allows me to provide frequent potty breaks, playtime, walks, and plenty of one-on-one attention throughout the day. I strive to keep each dog’s routine as close to home as possible and will make sure they feel safe, loved, and comfortable while you’re away. I’m happy to send regular photo and video updates so you can have peace of mind while your pet is in my care. Your pet’s safety and comfort are my highest priorities. With years of experience as a former dog breeder, I’m comfortable caring for puppies, senior dogs, and dogs with special needs, including administering medications when needed. I always introduce dogs carefully, monitor play closely, and can separate pets if needed to ensure everyone is safe and comfortable. My home is a calm, loving environment where your dog will be treated like part of the family. For overnights, I can provide the kennel and treats however if they feel more comfortable in using their own, I have a designated spot in the living room for them to be close by throughout the night. If they enjoy sleeping by me on my bed I am more than okay with that as well.
