“I couldn't be happier with the care our two large Goldendoodles received from our Rover dog walker! She was absolutely amazing — incredibly reliable, communicative, and clearly has a genuine love for dogs. Each visit came with thoughtful updates and adorable photos, which gave me total peace of mind while I was away. She handled our energetic pups with ease and made sure they were well-exercised and happy. It’s not easy to find someone you can fully trust with your pets, but she exceeded all expectations. Highly recommend her to anyone looking for a trustworthy and caring dog walker. We’ll definitely be booking with her again!”

“Aliyah was very friendly to communicate with. She responded promptly and was very thorough and asked questions so she understood exactly what she needed to do for my 2 girls (cats). When there was something she didn’t understand she asked me. Her rover cards were so descriptive and she also took many pictures showing what she did throughout the visit! I would recommend her for your pet needs!!”
“Sylas is an excellent pet sitter! He's absolutely set to be on my rotation, my little fur babies were treated well and enjoyed his presence from the first minute onward. Spectacular service, will be a returning customer!!”

“Pan is so awesome with our pets. We did a meet and greet with him and our pets before booking. They warmed up to him quickly. He went the extra mile to make sure all of our pets were taken care of and comfortable. Each visit he sent us multiple pictures. We had set up 4 visits a day. He was at every visit. We will definitely use Pan again to take care of our pets.”

About: I've taken care of animals (especially dogs) since before I can remember! Not only was I in charge of the family Farm but I also took care of my entire neighborhoods dogs during my childhood. I even have experience on newborn puppy care as well as any special needs dogs, and the treatment that they may need. I worked in the emergency medical field so you can feel at peace knowing your pet is in safe hands when they're with me. I'm doing school online, so I'm available any time that's needed and it shouldn't interfere with my studies. I do Rover as income while doing school I currently don't live in a pet friendly apartment but I'm more than willing to give your pet quality care from the comfort of their own home.
“I’ve used Caitee multiple times! She’s really attentive to Al! Today she even noticed that he was acting a little different than usual and let me know. We were able to figure out what it was quickly! I really appreciate how she communicates and pays attention!”

About: I grew up with a spunky black lab who lived to be 16 years old. Now I get to live with my sibling and my dog-niece who I also hope lives a long, healthy, happy life! We've been housemates for a few years now. Gently combing her curly hair is my favorite. I have an adaptable flow where I can give a pet activity if they are young and need it, or take it easy if they are older. I work with a flexible schedule from my laptop between Salt Lake County and Utah County, so I can adapt to your needs too! I like to first ask what schedule or routine your pet is used to and see how closely I can match that and their temperament. I'm used to an easeful morning, getting sun during lunch, and then some other kind of outing later in the evening even if it's just a walk. I like to try to make it to a team meeting Thursdays and Fridays in Salt Lake. I can time it so I'm not gone for long, or I can reschedule meetings depending on the circumstances, commute, animal temperament, etc. I'm happy to come to your place or host your pet at mine. I'm in a condo so I'll limit my boarding services to one pet at a time. If it's possible for me to come to you and get acquainted with your pet before overnight stays, I'd prefer that for more easeful transitions. If you come to my place, my apartment complex has green spaces and waste bag dispensaries distributed throughout the property where I walk my dog-niece in the evening. But during the day the dog is away with my sibling and I'm all alone. So your pet will have my attention. I'll ensure pets have their own separate, undisturbed sleeping space. If I come to your space, then of course your pet will be most familiar and cozy.
“Caitlin did a great job with our dog. She was there on time everyday and the pictures were great. I loved being assured that my dog was okay when I couldn't be there. I will use this service again!”

“Very happy with Grace and Lance. They were able to come play with our dog with very little notice and flexible with a willing attitude. Even noticed the water needed filling and took care of that!”

“Heather is a lifesaver! I've never used her before but I was in a bind. I have to work all day and there was nobody to take my cute Lila out. Heather and her daughter were amazing! They understood that Lila was nervous and shy and they let her take her time to warm up. They also made sure that she went potty a few times and was totally taken care of! Thank you so much Heather! Can't wait to use you guys again. ❤️🐾”

About: Had pets of all kinds since I was a baby, big guys and small guys. Taken care of friends and neighbors pets for longer than I can remember! I am a full time student at UVU and am an Intern at a Physical Therapy clinic but can be flexible with you and am willing to get up early or stay up late if needed! Very willing to work with you! I’ll make sure I follow your instructions to a T and give your pet as much love/affection/safety as you do. They will be in the best of hands and happy as ever!
“Harmony watched our cats while we were away and it was a HUGE relief knowing Harmony was there. They were so kind and responsible and my cats LOVED them. Harmony clearly knows how to care for animals, and they were able to give my senior cat medicine and play with my cats, which gave me a huge peace of mind while I’m away. They are excellent and y’all should definitely book them!”

About: I have a retired service dog, and can do both sitting at your home and boarding at mine. I have watched both small and large dogs, as well as cats, reptiles, and rodents. I use to work at a farm with horses, and know my way around critters both great and small. I can provide outdoor baths if the weather is above 60 degrees, and some light training if wanted. I am in college taking classes from 10 to 1, and also work as a janitor for a school, working from 4 to 7. I am not home on Sunday mornings for about 2 hours, due to church, so any dogs will need to be OK being home alone either in a crate or loose in a room for that time period. I have my retired service dog, Wiley, who is very friendly with other dogs. I have a indoor grass patch that dogs can use, as well as the lead line i can put them out on. I am not able to walk very well, so can't do long walks, but I have a good arm and can throw a ball for 20 minutes several times a day, in the park near my house. I can provide a hose bath provided the temperature is above 60 degrees, and can use my large car to go to dog parks. Dogs are allowed on the bed, but will sleep in a crate if that is how they sleep at home. I have bones for dogs to chew on, and plenty of toys. I dont allow balls in the house, my dog has learned how to throw them himself to chase.

About: I have taken care of all different types of animals since I was a kid. I have always been trusted my neighbors, friends, and family to take care of their cats and dogs. I also have my own dog back at my parents house. I also took a vet tech class in highschool where I learned how to take care and handle all sorts of animals. I am currently working part time, so I'll have lots of time to play with and check in on your pets! When I do work my 8 hour shifts I do my best to check on them during my break as well as check on them plenty of times before my shift. I can easily do whatever is needed, whether that is feed, crate, and or play with your pet. Im extremely flexible when it comes to pet care.
About: What sets me apart is that I genuinely enjoy getting to know each animal's unique personality and figuring out what makes them feel comfortable, happy, and safe. I have experience with dogs of all ages and energy levels, from playful puppies to mellow seniors. I also have a cat with health issues, so I'm comfortable administering medications and paying close attention to an animal's needs. Caring for him has taught me a lot about patience, compassion, and the importance of making pets feel loved and supported. Whether your pet loves long walks, playtime, extra attention, or a calm companion, I'll take the time to understand what works best for them. My goal is to provide reliable care that gives pet owners peace of mind and helps pets feel comfortable, cared for, and excited to see me. I am pretty flexible with whatever time works for you. I have time almost everyday to include care for your animal whether that be walking, feeding, or even just checking in. Depending on my work schedule that may be in the morning or in the late afternoon. Just as a note I never work later than 6:30pm so I always have time after that :) Your pet's safety and comfort are my top priorities. I take the time to learn each pet's routine, personality, and any special care instructions so they feel comfortable and cared for. I'm attentive to changes in behavior, comfortable administering medications when needed, and happy to provide updates and photos for peace of mind. Whether your pet is energetic, shy, young, or senior, I'll provide patient and reliable care tailored to their needs.

Michelle was amazing!! My cat was super comfortable around her from the get-go! I was never worried for a second with Michelle there to care for my cat. She is very calm and perfect for what my cat needs. She has great communication and was able to accommodate all of my special requests. She knew exactly what my cat needed, like putting on Cat TV for her, which my cat loves!!! She was definitely interested in taking the best possible care of my cat. I would choose Michelle over and over again for my Ruth <3

I couldn’t have asked for a better pet sitter! My boys warmed up to Peter almost immediately during their first meeting and I could tell that he truly cares for the animals under his care. I received lots of pictures, detailed communications and timely check ins. If you want a pet sitter who treats your pets with compassion and attention, then look no further! I’d gladly book Peter for future visits.

He went the extra mile to make sure all of our pets were taken care of and comfortable. Each visit he sent us multiple pictures. We had set up 4 visits a day. He was at every visit. A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy.
