“MADDISON DID AN EXCELENT JOB WITH MY KITTY! she’s super good and understanding or trips, cats, key troubles, and everything that happened on my trip, everything was so clean and I came back to my cat and my room in wonderful condition, would love to book you again!”

About: I’ve had my own Husky for 6 years and have so much fun with him! He has so much energy so we are walking and sometimes running everyday. I’ve also fostered dogs in the past so I have some experience with different breeds and different needs of care. I have cared for cats as well, with lots of pets and cuddles (on their terms lol). So I have experience with both dogs and cats and would love to drop in and care for, play with, feed and/or take your furbabies out for a walk for you! Please do keep me in mind, thank you! ☺️ I’m currently a stay-at-home mom to my 3 year old son, so we have lots of time during the weekdays to visit and go on walks with pets. My son absolutely LOVES dogs and cats and will be tagging along with me to care for and walk pets. I am typically available M-F anytime between 9am and 5pm. But if night time or weekend care is needed, please reach out! I try to be as flexible as possible. ☺️ Ideally we would be stopping by your home to either check on your pet, take them out to potty, feed them, play with them, and/or take them on walks! As my son would be coming along, I’m only open to caring for pets that are friendly with children.
About: I have taken care of animals as puppies and kittens to senior pets. I would volunteer at the humane society and help with vaccines, diets, transportation, adoption and foster care for the majority of my life. I am based in Provo because I am pursuing a bachelor's in psychology. I comfortably have the time for your animals needs since I am home fairly often and always feel happier with pets around. I have open availability as of now with little restrictions. I have the energy to take care of your beautiful fur babies. I will give them all the cuddles they want and play with them. I am very organized and will keep the environment your animals are in neat.
“Becky was great! We needed someone last-minute for a drop in visit and she responded to our request immediately. She was communicative, took several pictures, and spent ample time loving on our dog and cat. We’ll use her again!”

“Very happy with Grace and Lance. They were able to come play with our dog with very little notice and flexible with a willing attitude. Even noticed the water needed filling and took care of that!”

“My puppy Poppet is super skeptical of new people, but Kadyn was super patient and calm with her, and she warmed right up to Kadyn after a bit. She was absolutely amazing with my puppy and I would definitely recommend her to anyone.”

“Madelyn was great! She had great communication and kept us updated after each visit on how our kitty was doing. She also did not hesitate to reach out when she had questions or needed to check anything with us. We will certainly consider Madelyn in the future.”

“Cheri has been wonderful with our cats! We have one that is shy with strangers, and Cheri has been so patient and kind with him. He's trusting her more and more and it makes me so happy to see photos of him wanting pets from her! Cheri is the best!”

About: I have several years of hands-on experience caring for a wide range of animals, among those of course being dogs and cats. My background includes pet sitting, dog walking, feeding, grooming, administering medication, and providing companionship. I'm comfortable working with pets of all ages and temperaments. I am currently a medical student who loves animals, most of my time is spent studying just about anywhere so I'm pretty flexible when it comes to scheduling. I love playing in the yard with my dog or just taking him for a walk to let him explore new smells. Car rides for a pup cup are also super fun! With older dogs I really enjoy just sitting outside with them and sunbathing because I have found my older dog really enjoys that.
About: I've cared for a wide variety of animals and understand that each one has their own personality, needs, and comfort level. I tend to connect especially well with older or more cautious animals, and I've often found that pets who are usually reserved around people warm up to me quickly. I have experience helping raise and train dogs from puppyhood and am comfortable caring for dogs of all sizes. In addition to dogs and cats, I've cared for snakes and tortoises and am happy to learn the specific needs of different animals. I've also fostered, rescued, and cared for kittens, including providing extra attention and support for young or vulnerable animals. Above all, I aim to create a calm, positive environment for pets while carefully following each owner's instructions and routines so both pets and owners can feel at ease. I am most often available in the mornings, evenings, and all day on the weekends. My work schedule if fairly flexible to best suit my client’s needs. I prioritize following each owner’s routine closely to ensure consistency and comfort for their pets. My approach focuses on building trust and a sense of safety by first allowing animals to adjust to my presence and move at their own pace. I pay close attention to each pet’s individual energy and cues—engaging in play when they’re interested, offering affection when they seek it, and respecting their boundaries at all times. Alongside this, I maintain their daily care needs, including feeding, hygiene, and overall well-being, according to the instructions provided. My goal is to create a calm, reliable environment where pets feel secure and understood, and where owners can feel confident their animals are being cared for with attention, respect, and consistency.

About: I love spending time with animals! For years, I've cared for the pets of family, friends, and neighbors, gaining experience with a variety of personalities and routines. From active poodles to quiet cats, I've learned to adapt to each animal's unique needs, whether that means long walks and play-time, sticking closely to meal and medicine schedules, or simply providing calm companionship. Also, I grew up with an English Shorthaired Pointer and have first-hand experience with all aspects of responsible pet ownership. I am a full time graduate student, so I’m most available in the evenings and on weekends. However, I am happy to make an effort to work with your timing to fulfill your pet’s care needs. Your pet's safety and comfort are my top priorities! My current housing doesn't allow me to host pets, but I am more than happy to provide care through house sitting, drop-in visits, and walks. When caring for your pet, I am detail-oriented, attentive, and thorough. I follow all instructions closely to maintain routine and ensure their well-being. I can adhere to timely feeding schedules, administer medication, and reinforce training. I know that each pet and household is unique, so I am flexible in providing the care that best suits your circumstances. I respect your home and pet as if they were my own and prioritize clear communication to ensure that your needs and wants are met. I can provide updates and photos as often as desired so you can feel confident that your pet is safe, happy, and well cared for!
About: I am a responsible and loyal pet caretaker! I LOVE all animals and have owned or pet sat dogs, cats, and rodents. I walked my neighbors dog growing up and have cared for many animals since. I'm passionate about animal care because not only do they need it, but I also need time with pets! Animals need social and emotional connection, and that is what I give to pets. I am a college student taking the summer off to work, and am looking for opportunities to care for animals! I have a part time job in which I make my own hours, so I'm usually available to care for pets when needed. I am a student and cannot have pets in my own residence, however I am very respectful of others homes and make it a priority to leave spaces better than I found them.
About: Had pets of all kinds since I was a baby, big guys and small guys. Taken care of friends and neighbors pets for longer than I can remember! I am a full time student at UVU and am an Intern at a Physical Therapy clinic but can be flexible with you and am willing to get up early or stay up late if needed! Very willing to work with you! I’ll make sure I follow your instructions to a T and give your pet as much love/affection/safety as you do. They will be in the best of hands and happy as ever!

Cat parents share their Rover experiences - Provo
We have one cat who can be spicy around strangers, and another cat with health issues that sometimes make him sensitive, but Lance did a great job respecting their boundaries while also making sure they were well-cared after while we were away. Our boy cat especially seemed to enjoy lap time during the visits. Lance was also very willing to help with other minor tasks, like bringing unexpected packages inside.

We absolutely love Becky! She visited our cat every day for over 2 weeks while we were out of town. She was very communicative, left great feedback, and sent pics. She took initiative to add litter to our litter robot and checked on our auto food/water dispensers without prompting. We trust her fully and 100% recommend her!

I love Mallory so much! She has taken care of Kitty for 2 vacations and each time she has sent pictures of clean litter boxes which is so comforting, pictures of her petting Kitty, playing with Kitty and feeding and giving Kitty treats as well as pictures of water. I get updates of check in and check out times as well. Mallory has my contact information in case of an emergency. There hasn't been any. She is a cat person herself and she is simply lovely. I cannot recommend her enough!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
