“Shanika was great!! When we left, unfortunately, our dog was sick and was having accidents in our home daily. Shanika went above and beyond to clean up any accidents and make him oatmeal in the morning. She always spent extra time playing with our dog and taking him on walks. The only reason I’m not giving 5 stars is because Shanika had to handle some car issues, so the times of visits were sometimes off from the schedule. Other than that, would definitely rebook!”

About: Growing up we fostered many dogs and this gave me experience with many different breeds. In the home we have had yorkies, terriers, and mini Aussie doodles as pets. Snuggling with dogs, taking dogs to dog parks, and creating nature based toys for dogs is already in my routine. I am a full time college student and a dance/yoga teacher part time. Ideally evenings, nights, and weekends are best for me to be available for pet care. I provide high quality care through scheduled feedings as well as potty breaks to make sure the pets needs are taken care of. Playing and cuddling are essential to taking care of a pet and I am happy to provide them with this.

About: I remember growing up having dogs since I was a little girl. When I was about 10 I got my very own puppy for my birthday and I was so excited! We did everything together and had so much fun! I took good care of her and watched her grow up. When I was 18 I went away to college and I missed my girl so much! I got married shortly after that and we got our first dog together after we had four children. We have had multiple dogs since then and they have always been a big part of our family. We recently had to say goodbye to our elderly Weimaraner that we rescued 13 years ago when she was about 2 years old. Letting them go is definitely the hardest part of having a dog. Before we get a new dog to join our family, I decided to take care of other people’s dogs and give them the love that I love to give. Dogs truly give me a lot of joy and make me smile! They are simply the best!! I am a retired nurse and I am mostly a homebody excited to have furry friends come stay with me! They give me a lot of joy and I love their company. I have a large, fenced-in back yard with a large doggie door for easy access for them to come back in. I love taking dogs on walks, playing ball in the backyard with them, and snuggling with them. I love giving them the love they give to us!
