“Marianne did a wonderful job taking care of our two kitties while we were away. They were well fed and our long hair didn't have a single knot in his fur. I would highly recommend her services.”

“Once again Amy was a great caretaker for our cats. Great updates and pictures. Our cats are generally pretty timid and hide when other people are around, but they were coming out for her and even sniffing her hand! Says a lot about her in my opinion. She’s great!”

“Sarah was great with Sophie. I appreciated her accepting a booking late notice at a holiday time. Sarah was also good to communicate with me any issues that came up. I highly recommend Sarah’s services!”

“Sara is so reliable and patient! She was very flexible when my plans went a little awry. My cat actually came out to see her, which is an excellent sign that Sara's great with animals, because my cat typically hides when people come over haha”

About: I grew up in North Carolina and recently moved to Utah with my husband for his job in the Army. I started dog sitting in college and have been dog sitting for friends since then. I have had dogs my entire life and horses. I have also worked with senior dogs. I am currently a stay at home puppy momma to a rambunctious Bernedoodle so I am free most weekdays until 6. I am also available some weekends with prior discussions. I am happy to come to your house and play with your pup, feed them, give medications (if needed) and take them for walks. I would love to learn everything that makes your pet special!
“Jessica took great care of our senior cat! She asked good questions, sent good photos and left everything cleaner than she found it. We appreciated her going above and beyond!”

About: We are a loving family who will treat your dog like they are our own. We make sure they are eating well, taken on multiple walks a day, let out every 2 hours for potty breaks, and given so many snuggles. If you want your dog to feel right at home, then we are that place. I have years of experience with senior dog care and blind dogs. We are home most of the day so your dog will get lost of walks and potty breaks. Our large fully fenced back yard is great for throwing toys and playing with your pup. We are home most of the day so your dog will get lots of potty breaks and walks. We live in an awesome neighborhood with 2 parks. One park is directly across the street.
“One can always tell by their pet's behavior if they have had a good, fun, and comfortable time while the owners were away. Jocelyn absolutely made our dog, Henry, fall in love with her from the first visit. He was relaxed and happy when we returned. We would highly recommend Jocelyn, and we plan to use her for future outings and trips!”

“Mylo really enjoyed Ellie's company, she played with him, he was so tired that he slept the rest of the afternoon, she took care of his necessary things as a baby dog, she is a very kind girl, of course she will spend time with mylo again”

“Emily was so great with our elderly kitty. She took such good care of her, sent lots of pictures and also reports about her behavior every day. I would highly recommend Emily to anyone!”

About: I've been a pet parent as long as I can remember. My dog Zoe is now 8 and I raised her from when she was a puppy. I've never met an animal that didn't love me-I think they can tell how much I genuinely love them back! Friends, family, and neighbors all use me to watch their pets because they know they'll be in good hands and I have a fenced-in back yard. I'm very responsible with a flexible schedule. I won't miss feedings, walks, or mess up your pet's schedule because I know how important it is for them to keep to a familiar routine. I can give medicine, take care of messes, and reenforce your training. Your pet is my responsibility and I take that very seriously. Because I work from home with my own schedule (no school, no meetings, no young children), I'm free to give your pet all the attention they need and deserve! I sincerely love cuddling your fur babies, playing with them, and spending time with them. I'll make sure they are pampered while you're gone, so it's a pawsitive experience for everyone! I work from home as a writer-so I don't have meetings or anything I need to work around. I have a teenage son who I sometimes need to carpool places, but other than that my family is pretty self-sufficient and I'm available to help you when needed. I have an 8-year old cockapoo named Zoe and a fully fenced-in yard. I don't have young children. If doing any kind of booking at my house, I only accept one client at a time and only after I've worked with you at least once before (on walks, drop-ins, etc). For drop-ins or visits in your home, I promise to leave things in the same or better condition than when you left them. I follow directions very well and won't be distracted when I'm with your pet. I like to take lots of photos so you can see how your pet is doing while you're away!
“We are brand new to the area and this was our very first time using Rover. We were nervous, of course but Lindsey was AMAZING! We were able to arrange a few meet and greets and that helped my nerves immensely. She even sent us photos and videos each time she visited and left little treats for our girls. We will definitely be reaching out to her in the future!”

“10 out of 10! Casie was GREAT, Highly recommend! As a first time rover user Cassie relieved any & all of my concerns about leaving my pup with a stranger! Thank you Cassie 🐕”

About: We are Olivia and Kurt! We are both dog lovers, and both experienced dog owners. Olivia is a student at Utah Valley University and has an Associates in Science. She wants to become a veterinarian. She is known for her love of dogs but is also crazy about gummy worms, The Lummineers, and juice. Kurt served in the military as a Marine. He has since then become a Heavy Equipment Operator. Kurt enjoys going on hikes, but believes in balance and likes to snuggle up in bed. Kaiser is a stay at home dog. He is a nine month old Rottweiler. Kaiser gets along with dogs, and people of all ages. Don’t judge him, because of his breed! Our home has a fenced-in yard. We have a doggy door, so your pet can openly move in and out. The doggy door is XL and will accommodate most dogs. We also are available to provide access to the restroom. We have a couple different sized crates. They fit small to medium dogs. We will only use the crates if you want us to! We also have a gate to block off sections of the house. We have tons of treats, and a basket loaded with toys! Do NOT hesitate to ask me questions.

Deysla was a such a great help with watching our two cats while we left for an international cruise. Even when her circumstances changed so that she wasn’t available for a couple days of drop-ins she was able to coordinate to have her friend help in her absence. Thank you Deysla!

Whitney was truly amazing watching our kitties while we were away. We are so grateful for her kindness and love for our kitties. Thank you for taking such good care of them and making sure they were safe and happy. We can’t wait to see you again in the near future!!
Brittany is very attentive and she lets me know of any abnormal behaviors and asks me about things I didn’t notice about the apartment that she thinks would affect our cat. She also sets up toys for our cat so that there’s a change in the play environment. She’s just great and I trust that she cares for cat perfectly.

So glad I found Callie! She took great care of my two cats while I was away. One of them is super shy, but she even poked her head out, which is a big deal for her. I got lots of updates and cute photos that helped me feel at ease the whole time. It was clear Callie genuinely cared. I’d definitely book her again.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
