“We have had Jose and Jessica drop in on our babies on several occasions and they are trustworthy, punctual, and great with the dogs. Very professional and take the time to send of pictures of the pups and let us know how they are doing. We highly recommend.”

“Shirley kept us informed daily with pictures and comments about out kitty. You can tell she cared about our pet with the questions asked, and with the time she spent trying to play with our cat. Even when we weren't responsive she kept a very professional and loving care of our cat.”

“This was our first time connecting with Natalia and we noticed a few things. She is very transparent about the costs, her schedule, and wanting to meet us and our cats in person. We could tell she cares not only about earning a fast buck. I can get pretty picky about how our two cats are cared for. Pretty sure I’m the one that has separation anxiety, not our cats 😅. When she came over, she was very observant and asked lots of questions on our instructions. She was also very careful about making sure our cats didn’t bolt out the door. Our cats love to go outside so when a door opens, they want out asap. We really appreciated knowing we wouldn’t come home to a missing cat. We loved Natalia and would absolutely rebook.”

“I was super anxious to leave my fur babies for a week but Isabelle took such good care of them. I checked my petcams and they were happy and I really appreciated the daily report cards. I will definitely book Isabelle again because I know I can trust her to love and care for my "kids" and that means so much to me.”

“Alex did great helping with our two dogs while we were away. Great communication, on-time visits, and ensured they were well taken care of. He even placed our garbage cans in the street for trash day. Highly recommend!”
“We’ll keep rebooking Hailee to care for our cats. She is easy to communicate with, a very sweet person, and helps out with extra things while we’re away.”

“Ashley was wonderful! She took on our cats at the last minute and made she everything was taken care of. She was very sweet and even brought in some packages off my porch. My cats and I thank you!”

About: I've grown up with cats and the occasional dog boarding. As an adult I've only recently started caring for pets personally again. We have a cane corso & rhodesian ridgeback mixed puppy, a shih tzu / pekinese drama queen as well as several indoor cats. We also have goats, ducks, bunnies, and quail outdoors. Indoors we have caged geckos, chameleon, parakeets, chinchilla, axolotl, fish, snails, shrimp, and aquatic frogs. I work full time so boarding on weekends is easier for me, but weeknights can work depending on the week. I can do early morning or evening walks. I have a fenced yard, we also have a gated living room that we sit in with the dogs when we are all inside together.
About: I grew up in North Carolina and recently moved to Utah with my husband for his job in the Army. I started dog sitting in college and have been dog sitting for friends since then. I have had dogs my entire life and horses. I have also worked with senior dogs. I am currently a stay at home puppy momma to a rambunctious Bernedoodle so I am free most weekdays until 6. I am also available some weekends with prior discussions. I am happy to come to your house and play with your pup, feed them, give medications (if needed) and take them for walks. I would love to learn everything that makes your pet special!
About: I’ve taken care of animals since I was in middle school for family and friends and really just miss being around animals!! I love being outdoors and going on walks so might as well add some furry friends to the party! I’m a photographer and that’s my only job along with being a stay at home newlywed! I go on walks everyday and make it work with photography whenever I do have shoots so it really isn’t changing my schedule at all! I usually just keep an eye on whenever in my house and have a long hallway that’s super fun for fetch! There’s a big fielded area right next to me that people usually go and take their dogs out to to run around as well!
“Lexie was amazing and took such great care of our cats while we were gone! She gave us updates, sent photos, and put our mind at ease knowing our cats were in great hands. Thanks Lexie!”

“Janae and Russell were absolutely amazing! Ellie was so well cared for, and we are beyond grateful for the love and attention they gave her. Truly couldn’t have asked for better!”

About: I have several years of experience caring for dogs of different sizes and personalities, including Chihuahuas and Huskies. My responsibilities have included feeding, providing fresh water, cleaning up after pets, playtime, walks, and making sure dogs feel safe and comfortable while their owners are away. I have also cared for multiple dogs at the same time and understand the importance of following each pet’s routine and needs. I work full-time, but I am available for dog walks and drop-in visits before and after work, as well as on many days off. I keep my Rover calendar updated and will communicate clearly about my availability to make sure your pet receives reliable care. Your pet’s safety and comfort are my top priorities. “Thank you Mary ! We had to leave for a trip on a short notice and lucky for us Mary was available to take care of our two corgis. Mary took a great care of our fur babies. One of our dogs is in her senior year so she can’t walk very far. Mary brought over her own stroller so that our senior dog could go enjoy the fresh air. We are so thankful. We will definitely ask Mary to take care of our babies again. THANK YOU”

“I'm very glad to have found Lindsey to care for my cats. I returned to find well adjusted and fed kitty cats and cat boxes cleaned. I will most likely use Lindsey again. She was golden ✨️”

About: My family has always been referred to as a farm. I know how to take care of of dogs, cats, turtles, snakes, and lizards. So I will take care of about anything you ask me too It gets me out of the house to take care of animals and I’ve always wanted to be a vet but for now this is as close as I can get. I’ve always had a passion of animals I always treat my animals with respect and I always read body language. I will always know if none of my animals are comfortable with what I’m doing and I’ll immediately stop. I treat them with love and respect always!
“Izabelle was great with my dogs- they were excited to see her and very well taken care of. She sent lots of pictures and updates. We had our plans change a bit and needed to adjust the times and she was more than accommodating- I will definitely use her services again!”

Cat parents share their Rover experiences - Saratoga Springs
Isabelle is an incredible pet sitter and shows true care and love for animals. We adored the daily photos and updates she shared, and felt so much peace knowing our cat was getting attention and affection while we were away. Isabelle was understanding and flexible with our plans when our trip had a minor hiccup that affected our schedule. She’s a genuinely kind person, dependable and professional. I know our cat will miss having her around!

We were nervous to all leave the pets. Nikki was very understanding and took the time to explain everything to me and even suggested coming over to look at things so that she had a good idea of where things were and how we did things. Our pets were well taken care of and I loved the pictures and updates. I shared them to our family chat so everyone could see they were well taken care of. Would absolutely book with Nikki again.

Cat sitters on Rover care for your cats’ needs and can spend quality time with them, including activities like feeding, playing, and refreshing their water and litter boxes. Depending on your arrangement, you can schedule as many visits per day as your cat needs or find a sitter who can stay at your house overnight. Some sitters also board cats in their home.
House sitting can be ideal for cats who need socialization or care that lasts longer than a few hours. Your cat stays in their own home, on their own schedule, with care based on what you and your sitter agree on together.
Many pet parents provide a spare key or arrange a lockbox. You can also exchange keys during the Meet & Greet and show your walker how to use digital fobs or personalized codes. It helps to arrange access to your home, from spare keys to concierge introductions, before pet care begins.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Yes, you can find sitters who have experience with handling special pet needs in Saratoga Springs. On Rover:

You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
