As a stay-at-home mom, I’m home with the dogs throughout the day, so your pup will get plenty of attention, love and companionship. Our home is busy, but full of love, and we have a fenced-in yard where the dogs can safely play and enjoy some outdoor time. I’ll treat your pup like one of my own and keep you updated with photos and messages while you’re away. Since I’m a stay-at-home mom, I’m home with our dogs throughout the day, so caring for pets naturally fits into our daily routine. We have plenty of time for play, cuddles, potty breaks, walks and outdoor time in our fenced yard. I love having dogs around and would love to include your pup in our family’s daily routine while they’re staying with us! Whether your pup is staying with us, enjoying a walk, or getting a check-in at home, I’ll treat them like one of my own! For boarding, your dog will stay in our home and be part of our family’s daily routine, with plenty of attention, playtime, potty breaks, walks, and cuddles. I’m always around to make sure all the dogs are safe with no issues. For walks and check-ins, I’ll make sure your pup gets the exercise, attention and care they need while you’re away. As well as respecting home! No matter what service, I’ll always follow your instructions for feeding, medications, routines and any special needs. I’m happy to send photos and updates so you know your pup is happy and well cared for.
“Lindsay was great! Our dog had a fantastic time with her and she was very communicative. She made sure to ask any questions she had to keep our dog comfortable and safe.”

“Ashley was wonderful! She took on our cats at the last minute and made she everything was taken care of. She was very sweet and even brought in some packages off my porch. My cats and I thank you!”

About: I've grown up with cats and the occasional dog boarding. As an adult I've only recently started caring for pets personally again. We have a cane corso & rhodesian ridgeback mixed puppy, a shih tzu / pekinese drama queen as well as several indoor cats. We also have goats, ducks, bunnies, and quail outdoors. Indoors we have caged geckos, chameleon, parakeets, chinchilla, axolotl, fish, snails, shrimp, and aquatic frogs. I work full time so boarding on weekends is easier for me, but weeknights can work depending on the week. I can do early morning or evening walks. I have a fenced yard, we also have a gated living room that we sit in with the dogs when we are all inside together.
“Niki did an absolutely amazing job dropping in to take care of my plants and cats! She sent me detailed updates and pictures each day, and I had so much peace knowing everything was taken care of so thoughtfully. My cats are very stranger shy, and I was so happy to see that they were social and relaxed during her visits. Thank you!!”

About: My family has always been referred to as a farm. I know how to take care of of dogs, cats, turtles, snakes, and lizards. So I will take care of about anything you ask me too It gets me out of the house to take care of animals and I’ve always wanted to be a vet but for now this is as close as I can get. I’ve always had a passion of animals I always treat my animals with respect and I always read body language. I will always know if none of my animals are comfortable with what I’m doing and I’ll immediately stop. I treat them with love and respect always!
“Alex did great helping with our two dogs while we were away. Great communication, on-time visits, and ensured they were well taken care of. He even placed our garbage cans in the street for trash day. Highly recommend!”
“Shirley was amazing! I couldn’t have asked for a better first experience using Rover having Shirley watch our cat. She gave me updates every visit and tons of photos which I really really appreciated. She was great at communicating. I felt very at peace knowing she was checking on him and cared for him. I would definitely love to have Shirley come back in the future when we go out of town. Cannot recommend her enough!! Thanks for everything, Shirley!”

About: I’ve grown up with pets and know the fun and love they need and deserve. Respect and love is important to me and a few of my core values. Trust me to love your babies, and take care of your home! I am a responsible full-time dental hygiene student and am looking to fill my weekends with watching your pets and your home! Weekdays work as long as you are reasonable distance from Orem where my school is so I can provide potty breaks. School hours vary each day, but I am typically in at 8 and out at 3 with a lunch at 12. It may be marked unavailable, but if you think it’d work don’t hesitate to reach out! Responsibility and dependability is who I am. Your pets and your home’s safety are my #1 priority while in my care. As someone who was taught respect growing up, you can trust me to take good care over your belongings and your home.
About: Having 4 friendly dogs, I can confidently say I've built my schedule to accommodate furry friends! I work from home so I'm flexible and available most hours of the day to take care of pets. We have a Poodle, two Cavapoos, and a Bernese Mountain Dog. Please note; I am breeding my Poodle and Bernese, so if you have adult unfixed dogs, daycare/boarding at my place may not be for you. I work from home as a Director of Reporting and Analytics, this gives me a lot of flexibility to control my schedule and accommodate pets. I have a fenced yard, but it's a half fence so not ideal for large jumpers. Our 4 dogs will love to keep your pup(s) company and play. Two crates available when needed.

“This was our first time connecting with Natalia and we noticed a few things. She is very transparent about the costs, her schedule, and wanting to meet us and our cats in person. We could tell she cares not only about earning a fast buck. I can get pretty picky about how our two cats are cared for. Pretty sure I’m the one that has separation anxiety, not our cats 😅. When she came over, she was very observant and asked lots of questions on our instructions. She was also very careful about making sure our cats didn’t bolt out the door. Our cats love to go outside so when a door opens, they want out asap. We really appreciated knowing we wouldn’t come home to a missing cat. We loved Natalia and would absolutely rebook.”

“I was super anxious to leave my fur babies for a week but Isabelle took such good care of them. I checked my petcams and they were happy and I really appreciated the daily report cards. I will definitely book Isabelle again because I know I can trust her to love and care for my "kids" and that means so much to me.”

I am very flexible and I love being outdoors and being super active so taking dogs on walk would be amazing I have a fenced home, i’ve had a dog and a cat my entire life. Including taking care of my sister pets all the time at my house. I am pretty strong and able to handle heavier dogs while being gentle

About: The main reason why I am want to start being a dog sitter is that I love taking care of animals. I have been a nanny and taken care of there dogs as well. I love it, but since I have a little less time on my hands I need something just a tad easier. What sets me aside from other dog sitters is that I want them to have much time outdoors as possible. I know its hard when you live in an apartment or just aren't home as much and you have a dog with higher energy and you don't have the time to take them out. I want to be that person that can help you with that issue. I have taken care of my neighbors dogs and also friends dogs while they are away at work. Right now I am just taking some classes getting my bachelors degree so I have lots of time on my hands and would love helping you out! I am looking for additional income, I work a job from 12-6 most days. I have two little dogs, Yoshi and Buddha , that I love and I know they would enjoy making some more doggy friends! I have also potty trained several puppies including my own and I also teach tricks and little cute things like that! Let me know if you're interested :)

I have been very pleased with both arrangements. Lindsey is responsible and trustworthy. She sends me photos every time. I highly recommend Lindsey for pet care.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
