“Marianne did a wonderful job taking care of our two kitties while we were away. They were well fed and our long hair didn't have a single knot in his fur. I would highly recommend her services.”

“Tracy is so sweet and so awesome. She was on time, played with him for the allotted time and was so willing to help where needed. I met her before leaving and she is trustworthy and so sweet. I will definitely be having her watch koda again!”
“Best experience ever and can’t wait to have her watch my baby again! Took such great care of her and I loved knowing she was in such great hands! Thank you so much!”

About: I've been a pet parent as long as I can remember. My dog Zoe is now 8 and I raised her from when she was a puppy. I've never met an animal that didn't love me-I think they can tell how much I genuinely love them back! Friends, family, and neighbors all use me to watch their pets because they know they'll be in good hands and I have a fenced-in back yard. I'm very responsible with a flexible schedule. I won't miss feedings, walks, or mess up your pet's schedule because I know how important it is for them to keep to a familiar routine. I can give medicine, take care of messes, and reenforce your training. Your pet is my responsibility and I take that very seriously. Because I work from home with my own schedule (no school, no meetings, no young children), I'm free to give your pet all the attention they need and deserve! I sincerely love cuddling your fur babies, playing with them, and spending time with them. I'll make sure they are pampered while you're gone, so it's a pawsitive experience for everyone! I work from home as a writer-so I don't have meetings or anything I need to work around. I have a teenage son who I sometimes need to carpool places, but other than that my family is pretty self-sufficient and I'm available to help you when needed. I have an 8-year old cockapoo named Zoe and a fully fenced-in yard. I don't have young children. If doing any kind of booking at my house, I only accept one client at a time and only after I've worked with you at least once before (on walks, drop-ins, etc). For drop-ins or visits in your home, I promise to leave things in the same or better condition than when you left them. I follow directions very well and won't be distracted when I'm with your pet. I like to take lots of photos so you can see how your pet is doing while you're away!
“Amanda was truly amazing . She did everything our kitties needed. She had great communication, we will definitely be using her as our kitty sitter over and over again !! Thank you Amanda !!!”
“Emily was so great with our elderly kitty. She took such good care of her, sent lots of pictures and also reports about her behavior every day. I would highly recommend Emily to anyone!”

“I couldn't be happier with the care our two large Goldendoodles received from our Rover dog walker! She was absolutely amazing — incredibly reliable, communicative, and clearly has a genuine love for dogs. Each visit came with thoughtful updates and adorable photos, which gave me total peace of mind while I was away. She handled our energetic pups with ease and made sure they were well-exercised and happy. It’s not easy to find someone you can fully trust with your pets, but she exceeded all expectations. Highly recommend her to anyone looking for a trustworthy and caring dog walker. We’ll definitely be booking with her again!”

“Jozie was awesome with my dog! She came to visit and meet him and played with him before our scheduled time and he loved Josie. The visit was great and provided a much needed update while I was away from home for the night.”

“Jessica is the sweetest person, so kind and patient. She was prompt in response, on time for drop in visits and went beyond the extra mile! Would hire her again in a hot second!!!”

About: I’m Christina I’m 19 years old, I don’t have a dog of my own currently but was a dog mom for 13 years till she passed not that long ago. I was a protective dog mom and treated her as my own baby. I love being around dogs every chance I get. My family has three small dogs of their own that I am around more times than not. I will look after your fur baby and fulfill their needs on their energy, if they wanna play then time to play! if they want a nap/rest, that’s what we’ll do. Dogs are my favorite as I hope to eventually get another one day, to have as my own! I don’t have a full time job and I am home majority of the day with not much to do. I would love to have my day making a dog my priority. I will do dog care services in my own home currently. I will make sure the area is clean and clear of anything a dog could manage to get into, and provide enough space for the dog to walk around
About: I've owned dogs and cats all of my life. I also pet sit frequently and have since I was about 10 years old. I believe pets are part of the family and would love to help keep them happy and calm when you are away! I work as a substitute for a local technical college where shifts would be 3 hrs at a time on days I'm needed. Other than that, I am free to help keep your schedule with your pets while you're away. I am ready and equipped to offer whatever your pet may need. I can play fetch, go on hikes, and go on long walks. I can also sit and hang out if your dog prefers some down time. I am comfortable giving meds if your pet requires them (I have worked in healthcare for the last 7 years).
About: I have always had pets around especially dogs. I grew up with 2 or 3 always in my home. I love them and my kids love them. We watch neighbors dogs and treat our Toby as family. I think this sounds like a fun way to earn money and have fun w other dogs at the same time! I am home most of the time and I have 5 kids home too when not at school or activities. I’m flexible, I can come walk your dog or bring them here to walk with mine. I have a fenced yard. I will walk your dog, play catch and give lots of attention to your dog. My kids love dogs and will help out too. I prefer no barking, and it not to be shedding time if staying inside my home.
About: I’ve owned over 20 different kinds of animals from reptiles to bunnies to dogs and cats! I worked for 4 years at Petsmart as a pet care manager and as a dog groomer! I have handled every size and temperament of dog and know how to make them feel as comfortable as I possibly can and keeping everyone safe🙌 I am hoping to take care of peoples pets as a full time job, so I am available most of the day with a few days blocked off for personal use. Right now I am just doing home check ups until my schedule is free enough to do walks, and eventually when I move to a larger place I can care for pets in my home!
About: I have always had dogs growing up and i now have a golden retriever, that loves to play with freinds! I have a huge backyard, i also work from home so i am always going to be available for bathroom breaks! I have a huge fenced yard, a big house for them to roam! I love to play ball and frisbee with the dogs! They will get lots of love from me because my kids except one have moved out and they will keep me busy!
“Aubrey came to our house to take our chocolate lab for walks daily for 4 days. She was AMAZING, it was the first time ever trusting someone with our girl and I was nervous but Aubrey instantly connected with our pup and you could see she loved animals. She sent me pictures and updates after every walk and was patient with me and my fur mom nerves. I left a couple notes through the week to relay messages and Aubrey was sure to respond to them. She was respectful, honest, punctual, and kind! I will definitely use her service again!!”

Pet parents share their Rover experiences - Cedar Hills
Rebecca was understanding with our dog Spud, who can be timid with new people. She was extremely patient with him, and typically he does take a little to warm up, but with Rebecca it was instant friendship. She had been so flexible with some last minute changes. I would highly recommend Rebecca!!

What a wonderful kind, sweet human being Ace is. She was marvelous for caring for my Cody with such short notice and it was like the two of them have been friends Cody's whole life. I can't wait to experience more of Ace's animal care in the future at our home. I would recommend Ace to anyone who needed a caring animal nanny!!!! Thank you again Ace.

Deysla was a such a great help with watching our two cats while we left for an international cruise. Even when her circumstances changed so that she wasn’t available for a couple days of drop-ins she was able to coordinate to have her friend help in her absence. Thank you Deysla!

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
