He not only kept me posted on my dog's day to day behavior and health, but also about my house and neighborhood (power outages, construction in my driveway, etc). Leland was very kind and willing to update me with pictures and videos each day, and even have a short video call with me each night. All of the communication really helped assuage my anxieties about being gone. My dog loved him and was very comfortable, which speaks volumes to me. Leland followed my lengthy care instructions and was very respectful of my home, cleaning everything he used including laundry. He was even willing to take the trash to the street and back for collection day!! I came back to find my home in near identical condition as when I left it, which was a very pleasant surprise compared to the experience with sitters I've used in the past. This was my first time using both Rover and a stranger to sit my home and dog, and I was horribly worried about the whole thing, but the experience with Leland was so great that I'll definitely be coming back and rebooking with him again whenever I next need a sitter. I grew up on a hobby farm and was responsible for almost all the animals care. Many neighbors and friends have relied on me to walk, play with, and watch their dogs sense I was 8 years old. I’m currently working a part time job so I’ll have a lot of time to play with and care from your dogs throughout the week. If you need someone to take your dog for a walk I’m your gal! I’ll go on short and super long walks. If you are needing drop in visits, I can stop in multiple times a day to let your dogs out, play, go on walks and anything else you need/ are wanting.

About: I grew up around animals and was even studying to become a veterinarian. I worked in an animal clinic for a few years as well. Over the years we have taken care of many pets. My kids absolutely adore animals and would own all the dogs and cats they ever meet if I would let them. They both play an active role in taking care of the dogs to make sure they have food, are played with, and go on walks. We have one goldendoodle who loves to play with other dogs. She’s gentle and a pretty calm dog. Her favorite hobbies are chewing on tennis balls and sleeping. As we have a dog of our own, our schedule is already geared towards owning a dog and taking care of her. We spend a lot of time outside and going to the dog park is a necessity. We are an active family and my kids have a lot of activities going on so while we’re not home 24/7, we still love our dog and if we can’t take her with us (car rides, to the park for games), we do make sure we make it back home to spend time with her and your dog would be treated the same. ❤️ We want your dog to feel at home and have a good experience. Our own dog gets some separation anxiety so we know how important it is to make sure the pets feel like part of the family.

About: I have worked with dogs mostly, with the occasional cat. I volunteered at an animal shelter while in college. I have mostly trained my dog and my sisters dog. I make sure they are exercised by taking them on long walks and I try to keep to client’s schedule for walks and feedings when they have one. I am always keeping an eye on my dog and try to be aware I know where they are and that they don’t do anything they shouldn’t while making sure they are happy

About: I have had a dog almost my entire life. I've owned dogs, cats, and various reptiles. My mother is a dog breeder so I am capable of taking care of puppies and giving injections/medications as necessary. I am currently going to school full time, but these leaves me with a lot of time to take care of your pets and ensure their best care. I care for my pets by having a set schedule. The times for their feeding, walking, and medications are the same on a daily/weekly basis. However I understand some people are more lenient with their pets and I am capable of following their instructions.

About: I have never gone a year in my life without owning a dog. I’ve owned the easier breeds such as shih tzu, Pomeranians, etc to the more “difficult”/ bigger breeds such as Akita, Rottweilers, bulldogs. I’ve also cared for puppies. My Akita Rottweiler mix had 8 puppies and I also had an English bulldog have 7 puppies that I’ve cared for. I LOVE all kinds of dogs! I work from home 7-4 Monday through Friday and I’m looking for an extra fun activity that also pays! Pet sitting was the first thing I thought of! I have a reliable car to get me to and from homes at any given time! I have a clean criminal record and am very reliable!
