“Harmony watched our cats while we were away and it was a HUGE relief knowing Harmony was there. They were so kind and responsible and my cats LOVED them. Harmony clearly knows how to care for animals, and they were able to give my senior cat medicine and play with my cats, which gave me a huge peace of mind while I’m away. They are excellent and y’all should definitely book them!”

About: I love dogs, cats, and all animals. I have lived and worked with both large, medium, and small dogs, and am excellent at reading their temperament and providing the care and attention each individual dog may need. I work from home 4 days out of the week and have very flexible weekend hours. When it comes to housesitting, I prefer to sleep in my own bed when possible (I am based in Lehi) but can make adjustments based on individual client needs. I also prefer to do a meet & greet before the booking begins. Shoot me a message and we can figure out what works best for you and your pets. :) I have a kitty named Walter who shares his home with my roommates’ two cats. I consistently clean their litter, food & water bowls, and play spaces, and make sure they are happy and healthy as can be. Because I have roommates, they can assist with my personal cat chores when I am not home. Every pet is different, so I like to learn the pets’ disposition both from their owners and from getting to know them. I want to make sure the furbabies are always comfortable, so knowing when they are trying to alert me to go outside to go potty, eat, play, etc. is very important to me. Plus, I will leave your home cleaner than I found it :)

About: Animals are my happy place! I grew up in Texas, surrounded by all kinds of animals, from horses to rabbits and everything in between. I am pet first aid certificated and trained in sub cutsneous and oral medicine administration. For dogs, I have a large dog door that leads into a large, fenced-in yard equipped with a dog house and raised cots for cooled sun bathing. For cats, I have a special luxury cat suite. Equipped with 24-hour camera access, TV (changed from animal planet upon their request), wall climbing hardware, hammocks, and a barnwood door for their privacy. We are happy to provide at-door pickup and drop-off service at a modest fee. Ask about details! All the love and attention they can stand comes with any animal that I have the pleasure of boarding! I currently work full time but am working towards my dream of taking care of taking care of animals full time. Between my husband and I your pet will never be left unsupervised. I have a large animal friendly home that has an extra large dog door that leads to a large fenced in yard. Also have a small indoor animal room for smaller animals like cats or ferrets.

About: I have grown up around animals my whole life and love them! I walk my own dogs daily and have cared for my neighbors and family members dogs whenever they need me to. Pet care is an integrated and consistent part of my daily routine. I make sure Bear has fresh water available at all times, and I take time each day for regular feeding, bathroom breaks, and short walks or playtime. I check in with him frequently to make sure he’s comfortable, especially in new environments. I also prioritize his emotional needs—he gets plenty of attention, affection, and reassurance, particularly during stressful situations like loud noises or changes in routine. On a weekly basis, I clean his bedding, check his supplies, and make sure he’s staying active and healthy. He’s very much part of the family, so his care naturally fits into the flow of our day. I tailor pet care based on each pet’s unique needs and the comfort of the home environment—whether it’s mine or a client’s. In my home, I create a calm, safe, and clean space where pets can relax and feel part of the family. I follow their usual routines as closely as possible, including feeding schedules, potty breaks, walks, and any medications. I also provide plenty of affection, playtime, and supervision throughout the day to make sure they feel secure and loved. In a client’s home, I treat the space with respect and maintain consistency in the pet’s routine to minimize stress. I stick closely to the instructions provided, whether that includes feeding, administering medication, exercise, or simply giving them companionship. I also make sure to update the client regularly with photos or messages for peace of mind. Regardless of the setting, my priority is always the pet’s comfort, safety, and happiness.

“We loved having Sarah come by to see our cat! It seemed like our cat warmed up quickly to her. She went above and beyond in making sure our cat was safe and even helping with a problem in our house. Great communication!”

“Katie was awesome coming thru to drop-in for a play date with our 3 dogs. We were in a pinch and so glad she was available! She was friendly, prompt, and gave a detailed report. Super pleased with her service.”

About: I've cared for many dogs and cats ever since I was young including pets that normally get sad when their owners are away! Some of the care I have provided includes staying overnight, regular walks, check-ins, playtime, making sure water and food is topped off and clean, and bedtime routines. When animals are sad, I spend a lot of time with them, talk to them, and pet them. I would love to help care for your pet while you are away, and help them be happy. I'm often told that people feel calm around me, and I've noticed that pets become more calm around me too. My work is really flexible and let's me work from home, so I'm able to watch pets throughout the week and on some weekends! I'm a very flexible person and can do adjust to your pet schedule! I will follow all house rules, and I will care for your dog or cat in the best way possible! Also make sure that all doors and windows stay locked to keep your baby safe.

“Starlight took wonderful care of our kitties during the holidays. She sent photos everyday & spent time playing with them! We would recommend her to anyone & will use her again in the future!”

About: 10+ years of caring for small and large dogs belonging both to my family and family friends) (notably Chihuahua mixes, Collies, Rottweilers, Golden Retrievers and Golden mixes, Pit mixes). 4+ years of experience caring for cats, especially kittens and seniors. Experience working in shelter and rescue situations (cats). Experience caring for exotics (hedgehogs) and rodents. Especially comfortable with pets in during their end-of-life care. I understand that the process can be difficult and sitters sometimes aren't able to emotionally handle caring for pets in their end-of-life stages. However, this is a process where pets need just as much - if not more - engagement and attention as their younger or more able counterparts. I work in theatre, so my schedule is almost always very flexible, with the exceptions being rather notable. Until mid-August, I'll be available every day, all day - except for after 6:00pm Monday, Wednesday, Friday, along with variable Saturday availabilities. Other than that, however, I'm very available and very flexible! WHY I'M HERE I'll be transparent; because I move frequently for work, now's not the time to put a pet of my own through the turbulence of my journeyman lifestyle. This BREAKS MY HEART! Gosh, every day I feel the ache to adopt. However, that's partially why I'm here! I'd love to care for your pet to keep that practice in my life - but that doesn't mean I'm wanting never-ending playdates and picture-perfect pets. I'm happy to care for this member of your family with all of their quirks, needs, frustrations and fears. If I'm doing my job the way I'd like, I'd be creating a seamless transition between caretakers, just living life alongside them in whatever way they need. I've done quite a bit of pet-sitting through TrustedHousesitters, especially when I was traveling in the UK. I've also done more structured walk services and short-term sits with local clients and family friends. FOR CLIENT'S HOME SERVICES AND HOME PICK-UPS When I come to the home of folks that I'm sitting or walking for, I really appreciate being told very clear boundaries from the very beginning. Questions to consider might look like; - Is there an entrance you'd like me to use exclusively? - If I'm looking for your pet, is there an area of your home I shouldn't enter? - Are you more relaxed with treat-giving, or are your portions very strict? - If there's an item that I may need in your home (band aid, glass of water, etc.), what are you comfortable with me looking through or using? Basically, I'm eager to honor the way you raise your pet and manage your home, whatever that may be! This doesn't have to be in the form of a carefully-crafted list, though. A brief chat or general list of preferences does just fine, as long as we're on the same page. I'll be an active teammate to make sure there aren't miscommunications. When your pet is resting, I'll sometimes be doing light work on my computer. Without a set WFH schedule, I'm able to still keep an eye on your pet when sleeping and also take frequent breaks whenever needed. My aim is to go at the pace of your pet, following their lead. That is, of course, unless you have instructions otherwise - we've all had that moment where our pet's needs and wants don't exactly align ;). So, I'd love to take your dog on walks or play throughout the day, if they're able! However, I'm just as content staying near them as they rest, letting them chill within eyesight if they need space, or snuggling them all day long. For Sitter-Home Sits: My indoor living space is limited - because of that, I only feel right about bringing into my home kittens and/or puppies that don't mind being kept in smaller, baby-gated areas. I would hate to make your active pet feel cooped up! When it comes to dogs, the exceptions to the smaller puppy preference would be very low-energy dogs who don't mind lounging in small spaces (these are usually seniors) or dogs that prefer to stay outside for the majority of the day, weather and other needs permitting. For those outdoor dogs, I currently live in a home with a spacious, fenced backyard with shade. And, it's a space that I love spending all day in, so your pet won't have to ever be unsupervised outside! As for cats, while I'd love to bring them into my home, I don't have the necessary hygiene and enrichment tools to keep them comfortable. Because of this, I'd only be able to take home kittens that have smaller space needs and are able to use/train with DIY litter boxes or potty pads.

About: Growing up on a ranch, I learned how to care for a wide variety of animals: dogs, cats, horses, bunnies, sheep, birds, fish, and more. At times, my family cared for over ten rescued dogs and cats at once, all of whom we rescued and rehabilitated. I’ve raised and trained puppies and kittens, taken animal care classes, and gained hands-on experience giving medication, especially to senior pets. I’ve also volunteered at the Humane Society of Utah and currently intern there. Most importantly, I understand animal body language, and I know how to keep pets safe and comfortable. I'm incredibly aware of all possible risks and dangers for pets. I know how much your pet means to you, and I’ll treat them with the same care and dedication I give my own. Please message me before you book with me! I am unable to mark certain times that I am not available on specific days. My calendar does not show that I am not available during the times below. This is just for the month of June: Mon–Tues: Work 8 AM–3:30 PM (Orem) Thurs: Work 12-5 (Murray) Fri: Meeting 1–2 PM (Orem) I work online on Thursday and Friday. I can sometimes still do drop-in visits depending on my work that day. Just message me! I am available any other time, even on Sundays! If you need a last-minute walk or check-in, I am flexible! I put the location because I can do check-ins in the area. In July, I am completely open. I will be out of town July 9th-26th. I can't offer boarding in my own home because of my pets and foot traffic. In your home, your pet will always be supervised and get lots of love and exercise. Most importantly, I will follow your instructions. If your pet has any special instructions, it is not a problem for me! I will do bathing, grooming, medication, etc. I can even water a few plants if you need!
