About: I grew up LOVING dogs and cats and honestly all sorts of animals . I dont have any official training in veterinary practices, but I do feel I do know quite a bit of taking care of animals and making them feel safe and loved . I have two beagles I helped my father raise after we got them from a rescue and they are the best part of my life. I love animals I hope you consider me to animals sit so I can just spend time loving on animals. 😁👍 (I list my experience mainly caring for my beagles but I promise ive been caring for dogs for more than three years) I honestly love spending as much of my day taking care of dogs as I physically can, weather thats bringing them with me places, playing in the yard, or just giving pets. I always try to be with the animal (because as much is i love em sometimes they can get into trouble if not watched) I always make sure I know if foods are safe for animals first off no matter what if I dont know. Even if its treats honestly I still like to read for a second or two. Always make sure areas are safe too, make sure things are picked up so nothing can be grabbed by a doggo, and also if im letting them out to go potty I always keep track of where they are especially at night because things happen to fences all the time and dogs are smart.
About: I’ve grown up and been around all types of dogs my whole life. I can be active with younger dogs and laid back with senior dogs. I have a private fenced in backyard and a dog park at our building so your dog will get plenty of fresh air and sunshine! We can go on morning and afternoon walks, frequent potty breaks and play with toys in the backyard. The stay can also be relaxing if your dog does not have a lot of energy. Your dog will be under our watch besides daily trips to the gym and occasional errands. All eating schedules and medications can be accommodated during the stay.
“Mary was awesome! We have 3 large dogs so it's always tricky to find someone who feels comfortable and is good with them. We have been very back and forth about in-house sitting and drop-ins and Mary made it so comfortable and easy. She was very attentive to our dogs needs (two of them take medications) and she was really communicative about them when she dropped in and sent pictures. We will use Mary again!”
“Nevada was the absolute best! She checked in on our senior cat 3 days while we were out of town and I got pictures everyday so I didn’t have to worry about my old man who is a VERY social cat. I can’t wait to have her cat sit for us again and we are seriously considering having her look after our dog midday for us regularly as well because she did such a great job. Thank you!!”
About: I grew up in a rural Southern Utah farming town and helped with horses, cows, pigs, sheep, goats and chickens. As well as family pets, mostly dogs and cats with some bird and small mamal experience. I have experience in caring for animals with special needs and medical issues, and I'm comfortable administering most medication. I have genuine love and passion for animals that has followed me through life, and I'm excited to meet you and your best friend, fur baby, love of your life, pain in the butt, adventure buddy, etc. 💜 I have a 5 year old Corgi named Valkyrie, and a 16 year old Devon Rex cat called Muppet. They are both friendly, if not apathetic toward other animals and are very calm. Currently living in an apartment, so medium to small animals would work best for my home. In your home, your rules, and I'm ready to learn them so your pet is most comfortable and happy.

About: I had a dog from the time she was a puppy till she passed away. So I am experienced in both puppy care and elderly dog care. I have lots of grooming experience for both dogs and cats. I currently have had my cat for 5 years. I’m currently unemployed so I have a very open schedule at the moment. I am a student in college but my classes are online so they don’t impact my schedule. My cat is fed every morning around 9 am, and I make sure to play with her in the afternoons. I also give her weekly baths, and brushings.
“Rachel did a great job taking care of our two cats while we were away! She sent me daily updates and photos, which I really appreciated—it gave me peace of mind knowing they were doing well. She was reliable, communicative, and clearly cared about my pets. I came home to two happy cats and everything in great shape. I would definitely book with Rachel again and highly recommend her!”

About: I've taken care of animals (especially dogs) since before I can remember! Not only was I in charge of the family Farm but I also took care of my entire neighborhoods dogs during my childhood. I even have experience on newborn puppy care as well as any special needs dogs, and the treatment that they may need. I worked in the emergency medical field so you can feel at peace knowing your pet is in safe hands when they're with me. I'm doing school online, so I'm available any time that's needed and it shouldn't interfere with my studies. I do Rover as income while doing school I currently don't live in a pet friendly apartment but I'm more than willing to give your pet quality care from the comfort of their own home.
About: I’ve been taking care of animals since I was 6. I’m a huge animal lover so I’d be happy to watch your pets whenever you need me too or would like me too. I currently work full-time for assisted living but would love an extra part time job as things are so expensive nowadays and my paychecks aren’t cutting it sometimes! My husband and I own a pup and 2 kitties. The pup is kennel trained and mostly potty trained (he’s still a pup and therefore is still learning.) the kitties on the other hand are high energy goofballs but warm up pretty efficiently to other animals. They don’t really like dogs but they will tolerate them as long as the dog leaves them alone.
“Jozie has been great. My pups really warmed up to her. She is punctual and communicated well on a simple schedule change. She was also very kind to bring in my packages from the door step. Will definitely request again in the future.”

About: I have grown up around all sorts of animals and have always loved them! I sometimes feel like I’m a whisperer😌 I have always taken good care of my pets and payed close attention to them. I am currently searching for a remote job. In the meantime and hopefully during said remote job, I will have plenty of time to take care of your loved ones. I have a fenced and spacious backyard for my two dogs. I take them out hourly and let them run around and play. I also feed them 2-3 times a day.

About: I grew up around dogs and never miss the chance to offer a walk. I learn and adapte fast to your dog’s needs and personality. I love being active and outside. I’m saving up for a PT certification, so be one pet at a time! I’m currently waiting for w-2 job to start so have a lot of free time in my hands. I know leaving a pet with someone new can be stressful. My goal is to give you some peace of mind and keep you informed on everything we do and how it’s going. Typically fresh bowl of water, litter box is clean at least three times a day (if not more). Grooming every week and brushing their teeth two times a week, playtime outside at least twice a day.
About: I have owned three dogs, and loved them all. Each dog is individual and I have a keen sense of observation, which honed my ability to find out what they need. I have a lot of patience and I know dogs deserve to be loved and taken care of! I love to get to know and meet new breeds, while also learning more about them before I meet them. Dog training is something that I’m familiar with, as well as handling dogs that are not as trained. Having a variety of tricks up my sleeve, I can keep a dog attentive and engaged so that they are active mentally as well as physically. Dogs are smart, fun, and loving and they should get to show that everyday! I work until 4pm, so my afternoons and evenings are available for dogs and their care, I also have every holiday available because of my current work. We have a one bedroom with a balcony, and a giant field and park around the corner! Easy access to plenty of room to play and run.
“Rosmary was wonderful. She made my girls very comfortable with her. Coco and Brownie are very skittish when it comes to meeting new people. Rosmary sent me updates, pictures, and videos for every drop in visit. I will definitely be using her again in the future. Thank you Rosmary!”

About: I grew up raising puppies and caring for dogs! I love dogs and would be happy to welcome them into my home. I have a one-year-old border collie pup who would love to have a playmate over the weekends. I live in a house with a fenced backyard, and take her on walks up twice a day. My husband Forrest and I tend to care for the doggies together, but I will be the primary sitter and will always be with the dogs. I am available on the weekends for overnight boarding! Friday through Sunday works for our schedule, but may be able to help on some weeknights. My yard is fenced in the back but we always keep our doggies on a leash for potty breaks to be safe. I would like to meet before hand to make sure our dogs get along first.

Dog parents share their Rover experiences - Saratoga Springs
We had a wonderful experience! Lela took amazing care of our dogs, Marlie and Theo, and kept us well updated so we had complete peace of mind. Lela was also so responsive and kind with accommodating any of our needs or change of plans. It’s clear she truly loves animals, and we will be booking her again. Highly recommend! 💛

Elaina is AMAZING. We had never used the Rover service and were nervous about leaving our dog with someone we didn’t know. Elaina went out of her way to meet our dog beforehand & helped us feel so comfortable. She went above and beyond to check in on her-our dog can get anxious and resist eating until she’s comfortable with someone and Elaina was so patient with her and adaptive to her needs. Our dog was so spoiled with love and affection and the photos we received daily made us so happy to see. You could clearly see our dog was living her best life with Elaina and was loving her check in visits from her! I’d 1000% recommend her to anyone. Did I mention she even cleaned our dog’s food and water bowls and had a fresh cup of food ready to pour for our dog’s meal when we got home?! She’s the best and we just love her. Thank you Elaina!

Raegan not only took incredible care of our sweet boy but she genuinely cares for them and making sure all their needs are met! She is the sweetest and we will for sure be using her again! If you want someone you can trust, kind, and genuinely loves your dog, please use Raegan!!

We were nervous to all leave the pets. Nikki was very understanding and took the time to explain everything to me and even suggested coming over to look at things so that she had a good idea of where things were and how we did things. Our pets were well taken care of and I loved the pictures and updates. I shared them to our family chat so everyone could see they were well taken care of. Would absolutely book with Nikki again.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
While Rover doesn’t offer traditional subscription services, some sitters offer recurring bookings for services like home visits and dog walking. Recurring services come with their own perks, such as flexibility to modify services (up to five weeks in advance), automatic billing, Rover Card updates, and same-day cancellations.
