About: Ever since I was a kid, I loved animals! When I was 10, I had 3 pet dogs and 1 cat, and it was my duty to care for them. Later in life, I got ferrets, who I’ve been taking care of for about 5 years. Currently, I am unemployed - so my schedule is extremely flexible. There are only a few hours in the week I am unavailable. Whenever you need me I’m happy to help! Having ferrets, I am more attuned to naughty behavior. I have learned to always keep an eye of pets - especially when they are quiet. For any pet with a special diet, I will happily learn and do research on how to properly prepare it for them. No care plan is too complicated. The more instruction the better!
“Sarah was great with Sophie. I appreciated her accepting a booking late notice at a holiday time. Sarah was also good to communicate with me any issues that came up. I highly recommend Sarah’s services!”

“Jocelyn was great with our dogs! They loved her and she took great care of them for us. It was nice to know that they were being well taken care of while we were gone. I would not hesitate to book her again!”

About: I've grown up with cats and the occasional dog boarding. As an adult I've only recently started caring for pets personally again. We have a cane corso & rhodesian ridgeback mixed puppy, a shih tzu / pekinese drama queen as well as several indoor cats. We also have goats, ducks, bunnies, and quail outdoors. Indoors we have caged geckos, chameleon, parakeets, chinchilla, axolotl, fish, snails, shrimp, and aquatic frogs. I work full time so boarding on weekends is easier for me, but weeknights can work depending on the week. I can do early morning or evening walks. I have a fenced yard, we also have a gated living room that we sit in with the dogs when we are all inside together.
“Cooper was amazing with our dog. She was professional, prompt, communicative, and really cared. This was my first time using Rover, so I was a bit apprehensive. I felt comfortable with Cooper immediately and our dog loved her. Would absolutely book her again!”

“Zoe was awesome! She treated our two dogs with so much love and respect and went above and beyond to ensure they were well taken care of during the check-ins. She arrived on-time for each if her check-ins and communicated with us when necessary. She even left us two big doggie treats, one for each of our dogs on the last check-in. This wasn't necessary but showed her commitment to creating a great service experience. I would highly recommend Zoe to anyone looking for someone to help with their dog(s). We definitely plan on working with her in the future.”

About: I have two dogs and have had four cats over the course of thirteen years, I love them all dearly. I've also petsat for my neighbors while they were on vacation. I do all my schooling online so Im extremely flexible. I'm also free the majority if not all of the time! Just let me know when you need your pet taken care of and I'll be there. I'll make sure your pets are taken care of and fed, and spend time with them so they don't feel lonely. If your pet needs space I'm also happy to give them that. My dog is very friendly but doesn't get along with humans at first, so I have experience with scared animals
About: I've been around dogs all my life and have always loved them. I spent time around farm dogs when I was a child and had several dogs in my home as a teenager. I currently own two senior high energy dogs that I love to take on walks and play fetch with. One of my dogs suffers from anxiety, and I've come to understand stress signals from dogs. I'm currently a stay at home parent, so I have a lot of free-time during school hours. I can also help Saturdays and most evenings. I have a pretty flexible schedule and I'd love to help you! I currently tandem walk my two dogs, so I'm used to handling more than one dog at once. I'd love to take your dog on a walk and care for them while you're away! I will make sure they have food, water, exercise, and receive the best possible care. I'll treat your pets like family.
About: I've been a pet parent as long as I can remember. My dog Zoe is now 8 and I raised her from when she was a puppy. I've never met an animal that didn't love me-I think they can tell how much I genuinely love them back! Friends, family, and neighbors all use me to watch their pets because they know they'll be in good hands and I have a fenced-in back yard. I'm very responsible with a flexible schedule. I won't miss feedings, walks, or mess up your pet's schedule because I know how important it is for them to keep to a familiar routine. I can give medicine, take care of messes, and reenforce your training. Your pet is my responsibility and I take that very seriously. Because I work from home with my own schedule (no school, no meetings, no young children), I'm free to give your pet all the attention they need and deserve! I sincerely love cuddling your fur babies, playing with them, and spending time with them. I'll make sure they are pampered while you're gone, so it's a pawsitive experience for everyone! I work from home as a writer-so I don't have meetings or anything I need to work around. I have a teenage son who I sometimes need to carpool places, but other than that my family is pretty self-sufficient and I'm available to help you when needed. I have an 8-year old cockapoo named Zoe and a fully fenced-in yard. I don't have young children. If doing any kind of booking at my house, I only accept one client at a time and only after I've worked with you at least once before (on walks, drop-ins, etc). For drop-ins or visits in your home, I promise to leave things in the same or better condition than when you left them. I follow directions very well and won't be distracted when I'm with your pet. I like to take lots of photos so you can see how your pet is doing while you're away!
About: I grew up in North Carolina and recently moved to Utah with my husband for his job in the Army. I started dog sitting in college and have been dog sitting for friends since then. I have had dogs my entire life and horses. I have also worked with senior dogs. I am currently a stay at home puppy momma to a rambunctious Bernedoodle so I am free most weekdays until 6. I am also available some weekends with prior discussions. I am happy to come to your house and play with your pup, feed them, give medications (if needed) and take them for walks. I would love to learn everything that makes your pet special!
About: Dogs have been a passion of mine since I was little enough that my neighbor’s retired racing greyhound was taller than me, and yet I still walked her! Miss you, Sophie! From working at a kennel-free dog boarding facility to volunteering at a pig sanctuary— I am always happiest when surrounded by animals. I’m a born animal lover and feel so lucky to have the experience I do with creatures big and small! This experience includes dog training. As well as basic obedience, for the last 3 years, I’ve specialized in the desensitization to triggers of anxiety and aggression. Both puppies and behavioral dogs require a patient and empathetic approach, so my heart goes into training them. I bring this knowledge with me into pet sitting because I find a background in animal psychology helps me best understand and appreciate your pet. My care also includes exotic and small pets which I love dearly! As far as my own personal pets, I’ve had a rabbit, a hedgehog, gerbils, and guinea pigs. So I’m very comfortable with all rodents, and I especially love rats and ferrets and would be so honored to take care of your little troublemakers! And as a teenager, I worked at an aquarium, so I’m also familiar with the care of fish, amphibians, reptiles, and parrots. Snakes and geckos are among my favorites! I also have a huge soft spot for special needs and elderly pets. I have a history of caring for deaf, blind, cognitively impaired, and physically disabled pets. Meeting these animals’ needs and kissing those grey dusted snouts is so fulfilling to me. So please let me know if there’s any special instructions or health concerns! I’m so excited to meet and fall in love with your pet! 🥰 I’m currently working from home as a writer, and that freedom has allowed a lot of flexibility in my schedule. I’m so privileged to have the time to love on your animals! When I worked at a dog boarding facility, I was responsible for overseeing kennel-free rooms of up to 50 dogs at a time. As much fun as the chaos was, I much prefer personalized pet care because I can best get to know the needs and personality of your animal! Another aspect of this is the safety. One part of boarding that I found devastating was the risk of injury. Although I was always able to prevent dog fights from escalating into harm, there was a danger, and that hurt my heart. Pet sitting I find so much safer because I can dedicate the time and attention to building trust with and taking care of your animal. I sometimes include my own dog on pack walks with client dogs, but I would always ask before doing so, and I’m very careful to study behavior to assure my dog and yours would be compatible together. Safety and trust are of paramount importance to me! I know that it can be intimidating to leave your pet in someone else’s hands, so I hope to do all I can to earn your confidence in me. I promise to take a camera roll’s worth of pictures to send to you because I know how comforting that is for me when I’m away from my animals!
About: I have always had pets around especially dogs. I grew up with 2 or 3 always in my home. I love them and my kids love them. We watch neighbors dogs and treat our Toby as family. I think this sounds like a fun way to earn money and have fun w other dogs at the same time! I am home most of the time and I have 5 kids home too when not at school or activities. I’m flexible, I can come walk your dog or bring them here to walk with mine. I have a fenced yard. I will walk your dog, play catch and give lots of attention to your dog. My kids love dogs and will help out too. I prefer no barking, and it not to be shedding time if staying inside my home.
About: I have had dogs my whole life. My mother was a dog breeder. My brother is a dog breeder. Currently have a Chihuahua mutt rescue named Lucky who is great with other dogs. I work from home so my schedule is flexible. Only a few hours of conference calls a day. I have a medium size doggie door so the dogs have free access to the back yard. I have an extra crate and pillow for boarding. I have a doggie door. I am close to a dog park. I have extra chew toys.

“Used Rover for the first time with Morgan for some drop-in visits with my two huskies. She was very reliable and sent cute pics of them! She made this crazy dog mom feel at ease that they were in good hands! Will definitely use her again :)”

About: I’ve always loved all pets, but especially dogs. Right now we have one bernedoodle and I’d love the chance to sit your dogs as well because he loves having buddies to play with and I love having extra fur babies to love on. I am a stay at home mom with three little ones and a 4 year old bernedoodle. I’m always home to give your dog the care it needs and wants. I have a large fenced yard and a friendly dog of my own that would love to play with your pet! We are happy to accommodate crate training preferences, our dog often sleeps in his crate as well.
American Fork dog parents share their Rover experiences
What a wonderful kind, sweet human being Ace is. She was marvelous for caring for my Cody with such short notice and it was like the two of them have been friends Cody's whole life. I can't wait to experience more of Ace's animal care in the future at our home. I would recommend Ace to anyone who needed a caring animal nanny!!!! Thank you again Ace.

I choose Jozie B. to Check on our dogs the third time I used Rover, and I rebooked her for the second time. She is great with them as our dogs quickly warmed up to her. I will definitely choose her again next time. I highly recommend Jozie B. to anyone that needs a good dog sitter.

Shawnee is so trustworthy with my 2 Border Collies! She sent a picture AND a cute video while on their walk together. I would highly recommend her for drop-ins and over nighters too. She is very respectful of my home and very sweet to my babies. Thanks again Shawnee! ❤️
