“Lindsay was absolutely wonderful with Dylan. She went above and beyond to make sure he was comfortable, cared for, and getting plenty of attention during her visit. Dylan can be a sensitive guy, and it meant so much to know he was in such kind and capable hands while I was away. She was thoughtful, communicative, and clearly has a genuine love for animals. I came away feeling completely at ease knowing Dylan had been so well looked after. I would trust Lindsay with him anytime and highly recommend her to anyone looking for exceptional care for their pets.”

About: I've grown up with cats and the occasional dog boarding. As an adult I've only recently started caring for pets personally again. We have a cane corso & rhodesian ridgeback mixed puppy, a shih tzu / pekinese drama queen as well as several indoor cats. We also have goats, ducks, bunnies, and quail outdoors. Indoors we have caged geckos, chameleon, parakeets, chinchilla, axolotl, fish, snails, shrimp, and aquatic frogs. I work full time so boarding on weekends is easier for me, but weeknights can work depending on the week. I can do early morning or evening walks. I have a fenced yard, we also have a gated living room that we sit in with the dogs when we are all inside together.
“We loved having Sarah come by to see our cat! It seemed like our cat warmed up quickly to her. She went above and beyond in making sure our cat was safe and even helping with a problem in our house. Great communication!”

“Jordan was super flexible, communicative, and took amazing care of our dog while we were away. She made the entire experience stress-free, and we always felt like our dog was in great hands. I would highly recommend her to anyone looking for a reliable and caring dog sitter. We’ll definitely be booking with her again!”

About: I've owned dogs and cats all of my life. I also pet sit frequently and have since I was about 10 years old. I believe pets are part of the family and would love to help keep them happy and calm when you are away! I work as a substitute for a local technical college where shifts would be 3 hrs at a time on days I'm needed. Other than that, I am free to help keep your schedule with your pets while you're away. I am ready and equipped to offer whatever your pet may need. I can play fetch, go on hikes, and go on long walks. I can also sit and hang out if your dog prefers some down time. I am comfortable giving meds if your pet requires them (I have worked in healthcare for the last 7 years).
“Ashley was wonderful! She took on our cats at the last minute and made she everything was taken care of. She was very sweet and even brought in some packages off my porch. My cats and I thank you!”

“Mel was wonderful with our pets. She visited them twice a day as planned and shared pictures and an update with every visit. We are looking forward to having her care for our little guys the next time we are out of town.”

About: I have been around pets my entire life! Mainly owning dogs, but have taken care of both cats and dogs for friends and neighbors. I will treat your dog as my own and have fun along the way! I work remote most of the time, so able to fit your dogs needs, and more available in the early afternoons/evenings and the weekends. My wife and I are in a small apartment, so most of the care would be in the pet's home and I will follow whatever instructions to best take care of your pet and respect your home. I like going on walks, runs, throwing a ball and most other things to make your pet feel comfortable!
About: I've been around dogs my whole life and taking care of them since I was a little girl. I have experience with kinds of dogs ranging from taking care of senior dogs to training puppies, big and small. I currently work from home on my own schedule, so I am free and flexible to take your dog on a walk throughout all hours of the day. I am always cautious when entering and leaving a property to ensure your dog never escapes. I always walk with a leash in safe neighborhoods and sidewalks, which you are able to track. While walking, I always keep a portable dog bowl and fresh water available to ensure your dog never gets dehydrated. For high energy dogs that can handle sunlight, we will do a big walk at a fast pace. If your dog is a squished nose breed, I do my best to keep them out of direct sunlight so they do not overheat. I will walk at whatever pace is most comfortable for your dog and ensure they are well taken care of. I provide photo updates with every walk and you have direct access to my cellphone if you need to communicate.
“We are brand new to the area and this was our very first time using Rover. We were nervous, of course but Lindsey was AMAZING! We were able to arrange a few meet and greets and that helped my nerves immensely. She even sent us photos and videos each time she visited and left little treats for our girls. We will definitely be reaching out to her in the future!”

About: I’ve always loved animals and grew up surrounded by pets, so caring for them has always come naturally to me. I also participated in FFA when I was younger, where I gained hands on experience with animal care and learned the importance of responsibility and patience. I have pets of my own, so I understand how important it is to have someone you can trust to care for them while you’re away. I’m attentive, reliable, and treat every pet like they’re mine. My goal is to make sure your pets feel safe, comfortable, happy, and loved while you’re away! I currently work full-time, but I still love spending my free time caring for and spending time with pets! I’m responsible, attentive, and will treat your pets like they’re my own. I’m very respectful of your home and will follow any instructions you leave for me. I’ll make sure pets have a safe environment, plenty of attention, and a routine that feels familiar to them. I’m also careful about doors, gates, food, medications, and anything else that could affect their safety. Most importantly, I’ll treat your pets and your home with the same care and respect I would want for my own.

Dog parents share their Rover experiences - American Fork
Amy did a great job taking care of my dog for 3 days. She followed instructions well and made my girl feel comfortable and happy. She usually stayed longer than 30 minutes and always sent a detailed update and several pictures. I would definitely use Amy's services again!

Rebecca was understanding with our dog Spud, who can be timid with new people. She was extremely patient with him, and typically he does take a little to warm up, but with Rebecca it was instant friendship. She had been so flexible with some last minute changes. I would highly recommend Rebecca!!

What a wonderful kind, sweet human being Ace is. She was marvelous for caring for my Cody with such short notice and it was like the two of them have been friends Cody's whole life. I can't wait to experience more of Ace's animal care in the future at our home. I would recommend Ace to anyone who needed a caring animal nanny!!!! Thank you again Ace.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. While Rover doesn’t offer traditional subscription services, some sitters offer recurring bookings for services like home visits and dog walking. Recurring services come with their own perks, such as flexibility to modify services (up to five weeks in advance), automatic billing, Rover Card updates, and same-day cancellations.
