About: **DISCLAIMER** I can only provide outside boarding at this time. Sorry if this is an inconvenience. I’ve taken care of all sorts of pets since I was 6 years old. More specifically for the past 4 years I have taken care of Buster, my Border Collie/Australian shepherd. I’ve also over the years watched over litters of puppies, kittens, cats, dogs, ranging from all different ages and loved every second of it! I am a college student, so I need time with a loving fur friend to keep me going! I love going for walks, hikes, bike rides, and playing with your pet! I have a huge fenced yard(an acre and a half) which is free range for your dog. I also have a security camera system available 24/7. So, If I happen to be away I can check up on my phone. Food and water will be available 24/7 as well.
“Lindsey is a star sitter for a reason! She took care of my two cats with so much attention, I was able to fully relax and enjoy my trip. She is also a great commutator which is great for peace of mind! I would recommend Lindsey to anyone!”

About: I've owned dogs and cats all of my life. I also pet sit frequently and have since I was about 10 years old. I believe pets are part of the family and would love to help keep them happy and calm when you are away! I work as a substitute for a local technical college where shifts would be 3 hrs at a time on days I'm needed. Other than that, I am free to help keep your schedule with your pets while you're away. I am ready and equipped to offer whatever your pet may need. I can play fetch, go on hikes, and go on long walks. I can also sit and hang out if your dog prefers some down time. I am comfortable giving meds if your pet requires them (I have worked in healthcare for the last 7 years).
About: I’m gentle, loving, and patient! I’m ready to meet your family and take wonderful care of them. Feel free to reach out to me with questions! I work full time 7-5:30. So I can run before and after work to help your friend! I am free on Saturdays and Sundays all day! I have a huge yard next to my townhouse that I can play fetch or just sit and enjoy the mountains! They’re going to love all the space!
About: I’ve loved animals my whole life and have experience caring for both dogs and cats. I’ve pet-sat for friends and family, including daily visits, walks, feeding, and overnight stays. I’m attentive to routines and take time to get to know each pet’s personality so they feel comfortable and safe. I’m patient with shy or anxious animals and happy to go at their pace. I’m reliable and communicative, and I send regular photo updates so you always know how your pet is doing. I take pride in keeping pets happy and homes tidy while owners are away. I’m currently not working full time, so I have lots of flexibility and availability to care for your pets within your desired schedule and routine. I am a dependable and responsible person who will follow instructions and care for your pet like it’s my own. I always try to leave the pet and the home better than I found it.
“Jozie was awesome with my dog! She came to visit and meet him and played with him before our scheduled time and he loved Josie. The visit was great and provided a much needed update while I was away from home for the night.”

About: Since 2016, I’ve gained experience caring for animals of all ages, sizes, and energy levels. I started pet sitting as a teen for family and friends! When I moved to college I always expressed my love for dogs and was offered a few different month long positions that led me to pet sitting full time! I built a large clientele in Cedar City from 2020-2025. Including dogs, cats, birds, chickens, and horses! Whether your pet loves long walks, extra playtime, snuggles on the couch, or simply sticking to their normal routine, I strive to make them feel safe, comfortable, and cared for while you’re away. I have experience with lots of different breeds of dogs, administering medications, anxious dogs, and puppies. I understand that leaving your pet with someone else can be stressful, so communication is a top priority for me. I’ll provide regular updates, photos, and check-ins so you can have peace of mind knowing your pet is in good hands. For the summer time pet care is my full time job, during the school year I work 8-2 and my local elementary school. I am also a full time online graduate student. Most of my free time after taking care of your pets is spent studying. I love doing an in home visit before I watch your animals to make sure I understand the routine. I ask that you leave a detailed note for me to review while you are away to ensure I am providing the correct care for your animals. I prioritize their routine and schedule my plans or routines around them. I am known to leave your house the way I found it. I’ve had owners worried I didn’t make myself comfortable by how clean I left the place!
About: I have taken care of dogs since I was young. I love puppies but have no problem with older dogs! I have experienced dog training classes with my own dog. I have experience in outside potty training and also crate training. I am a high school graduate working 15 hours a week so I have a pretty open schedule. Feel free to reach out if you have any questions I have 2 cats at home that don’t get along with new dogs so personal home visits won’t be available. I have my own dog that I can bring to play dates and walks. I can also provide my own treats and toys for either dogs or cats. For dogs I can bring my own baggies for waste, and my own leash if necessary.
About: I have always had pets around especially dogs. I grew up with 2 or 3 always in my home. I love them and my kids love them. We watch neighbors dogs and treat our Toby as family. I think this sounds like a fun way to earn money and have fun w other dogs at the same time! I am home most of the time and I have 5 kids home too when not at school or activities. I’m flexible, I can come walk your dog or bring them here to walk with mine. I have a fenced yard. I will walk your dog, play catch and give lots of attention to your dog. My kids love dogs and will help out too. I prefer no barking, and it not to be shedding time if staying inside my home.
“We loved our experience with Amelia taking care of our pup. She was very good at communicating and we loved to see daily pictures and notes that she wrote in the app. We knew that our pup was loved and taken care of and recommend Amelia to anyone looking for a sitter?”

“Theresa was fantastic, she took great care of our cats and was able to make our extremely nervous kitten feel comfortable, which was a relief! Day 1 they were comfortable asking her for scratches and treats. Will definitely book Theresa again.”

About: I’ve taken care of cats and dogs in the past and my main skill is the caretaking itself and absolutely love playing with them! <3 I’m currently a student, I have class 3 times a week and outside of that I mainly study and engage in my hobbies. I don’t have a job right now which is why I wanted to become pet sitter! I will ensure your dear fur babies get the best care they deserve :) I’m eager to take your pet on a long walk, teach them skills, and give them scratches!

Whether your pet loves long walks, playing fetch, going for car rides, exploring outside, or simply curling up for extra cuddles, I’m happy to tailor my care to what makes them happiest. I also offer overnight stays to help keep your pet comfortable and maintain their normal routine while you’re away. I’m experienced in giving medications, caring for senior pets, and following detailed care instructions. My goal is for you to have complete peace of mind knowing your furry family member is safe, happy, and genuinely cared for. I’m currently home for the summer, so my schedule is very flexible and allows me to give your pets the time and attention they deserve. I’m also willing to drive throughout the area to help make pet care as convenient as possible for you! Your pet’s comfort and safety will always be my top priority. I have a fully fenced backyard and a sweet, older dog who is calm and respectful of other animals. I carefully follow each pet’s normal routine, including feeding schedules, walks, medications, and any special instructions you provide. I know every pet is different, so I take the time to make them feel safe, loved, and comfortable while you’re away. My goal is to give you peace of mind knowing your pet is being cared for just like they’re part of my own family.

About: I’ve had every pet you could think of growing up! From cats and dogs to ducks and chinchillas! I love to try teach dogs and cats new tricks as well as give them a loving companion! I’m currently in between semesters at school so I am fully available to care for our furry friends! I love going on runs and walks every day so I’d love to take your pup out! I live in a safe neighborhood, away from major roads and next to a nice walking trail. I always carry water and fold up doggy bowls so they don’t overheat as we walk!

Shawnee is so trustworthy with my 2 Border Collies! She sent a picture AND a cute video while on their walk together. I would highly recommend her for drop-ins and over nighters too. She is very respectful of my home and very sweet to my babies. Thanks again Shawnee! ❤️

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
While Rover doesn’t offer traditional subscription services, some sitters offer recurring bookings for services like home visits and dog walking. Recurring services come with their own perks, such as flexibility to modify services (up to five weeks in advance), automatic billing, Rover Card updates, and same-day cancellations.
To find sitters in Alpine with recurring or weekly availability, select "Repeat Weekly" and which days you’d like them to care for your pet.
