About: I provide dependable, attentive care and treat every pet like they’re part of the family. I understand that every dog has different personalities, routines, and comfort levels, so I take time to make them feel safe, relaxed, and loved while you’re away. I have experience in senior care, administering medicines, and love taking walks . I work from home so I’ll have plenty of time to have cuddles , hang outs and outside play time . I am very structured so like to maintain a same routine each day starting with a nice walk around the park. I have a fenced yard and two small schnoodles of my own who love other dogs and humans. I have many dogs beds, toys, and a designated space if they sleep in a kennel.

About: I grew up in North Carolina and recently moved to Utah with my husband for his job in the Army. I started dog sitting in college and have been dog sitting for friends since then. I have had dogs my entire life and horses. I have also worked with senior dogs. I am currently a stay at home puppy momma to a rambunctious Bernedoodle so I am free most weekdays until 6. I am also available some weekends with prior discussions. I am happy to come to your house and play with your pup, feed them, give medications (if needed) and take them for walks. I would love to learn everything that makes your pet special!

About: As a former doggy daycare attendant I LOVE pets of all kinds. I can guarantee your dog will be in an anxiety free environment. I’ve taken care of disabled dogs, senior dogs, puppies, etc. your pet comes first always. I work part time at the moment so I have lots of extra time to take care of your animals! Schedule is temporarily not set but I will make sure your dog is safe and tired by the end of the day! My dog came from an abusive home so I’ve worked very hard to be a safe place for her. I want to make sure that your dog never feels the need to show aggression or nervousness because their parents aren’t home. If your dog takes longer to warm up I’m willing to take my sweet time. On the other hand, if your dog needs a lot more attention than normal than I will make sure that happens!

About: Since 2016, I’ve gained experience caring for animals of all ages, sizes, and energy levels. I started pet sitting as a teen for family and friends! When I moved to college I always expressed my love for dogs and was offered a few different month long positions that led me to pet sitting full time! I built a large clientele in Cedar City from 2020-2025. Including dogs, cats, birds, chickens, and horses! Whether your pet loves long walks, extra playtime, snuggles on the couch, or simply sticking to their normal routine, I strive to make them feel safe, comfortable, and cared for while you’re away. I have experience with lots of different breeds of dogs, administering medications, anxious dogs, and puppies. I understand that leaving your pet with someone else can be stressful, so communication is a top priority for me. I’ll provide regular updates, photos, and check-ins so you can have peace of mind knowing your pet is in good hands. For the summer time pet care is my full time job, during the school year I work 8-2 and my local elementary school. I am also a full time online graduate student. Most of my free time after taking care of your pets is spent studying. I love doing an in home visit before I watch your animals to make sure I understand the routine. I ask that you leave a detailed note for me to review while you are away to ensure I am providing the correct care for your animals. I prioritize their routine and schedule my plans or routines around them. I am known to leave your house the way I found it. I’ve had owners worried I didn’t make myself comfortable by how clean I left the place!

About: I love animals. I have been caring for them for years and find joy in making sure they are happy. It is my first priority to care for your pet in the way you prefer. I am punctual and excited to meet new pets that I can care for. I’m an independent contractor which means I get to create my schedule. Luckily for me, this means I can pick up different side hustles at whatever times I want. I already do cardio everyday by walking so this would fit perfectly into my routine. Whatever rules or expectations the owner wants, I will take with great care, caution, and intention. The safety of your pet and the respect of your home is of utmost importance to me.

About: I’ve loved animals my whole life and have experience caring for both dogs and cats. I’ve pet-sat for friends and family, including daily visits, walks, feeding, and overnight stays. I’m attentive to routines and take time to get to know each pet’s personality so they feel comfortable and safe. I’m patient with shy or anxious animals and happy to go at their pace. I’m reliable and communicative, and I send regular photo updates so you always know how your pet is doing. I take pride in keeping pets happy and homes tidy while owners are away. About: I’m Christina I’m 19 years old, I don’t have a dog of my own currently but was a dog mom for 13 years till she passed not that long ago. I was a protective dog mom and treated her as my own baby. I love being around dogs every chance I get. My family has three small dogs of their own that I am around more times than not. I will look after your fur baby and fulfill their needs on their energy, if they wanna play then time to play! if they want a nap/rest, that’s what we’ll do. Dogs are my favorite as I hope to eventually get another one day, to have as my own! I don’t have a full time job and I am home majority of the day with not much to do. I would love to have my day making a dog my priority. I will do dog care services in my own home currently. I will make sure the area is clean and clear of anything a dog could manage to get into, and provide enough space for the dog to walk around

About: I’ve taken care of a variety of pets, furry, scaly, old, young, tiny, and huge! I’ve administered medications with care, cleaned and filled water fountains, auto feeders, etc! I’m not shy about having to clean up messes, and you don’t need to be shy about having very detailed or odd instructions! As a pet parent with specific instructions when it comes to my own pet’s care, I get it! I’m very excited to send you photos and videos of your babies while you’re away, and I can’t wait to meet them! I work from home, and have no real schedule, which means I am available at more odd hours than most people are! I can check in on your pets at those odd hours when most people are at work, take them on a walk, to the park, or have a mini spa session for them! I will care for your pets as if they are my own, and I treat my own pets like they are the most important things in the universe, because to me, they are! Extra scratches, treats, playtime, and attention will be exactly what your fur children will receive. I am constantly making sure there are no environmental dangers (wires to chew on, lit candles, rooms to be trapped in) and will make sure all pets have a safe and fun time both at my & your house! My backyard has enough room to jog around and play a bit, no dangerous plants and we don’t use chemical sprays for bugs!

About: I have always had pets around especially dogs. I grew up with 2 or 3 always in my home. I love them and my kids love them. We watch neighbors dogs and treat our Toby as family. I think this sounds like a fun way to earn money and have fun w other dogs at the same time! I am home most of the time and I have 5 kids home too when not at school or activities. I’m flexible, I can come walk your dog or bring them here to walk with mine. I have a fenced yard. I will walk your dog, play catch and give lots of attention to your dog. My kids love dogs and will help out too. I prefer no barking, and it not to be shedding time if staying inside my home.

Whether you’re at the office for the day or traveling for a few nights, a pet sitter can offer potty breaks during a Alpine stroll, cleaning the litter box, or making sure your pet has on-time food or water refills. For daytime services like walking and drop-ins, you can also request sitters to send a report card with every visit.

Tip: You can discuss your specific arrangements with a pet sitter on Rover to what fits you, your pet, and your sitter’s needs. To find what their special skills are, look at the "Skills" and "Pet care experience" sections on their profile.

Key handling is entirely up to you and your sitter to agree on during the Meet & Greet or in the Rover app. Most pet parents in Alpine choose to hand over a spare key or digital fob in person, while others arrange a lockbox or unique access code. Don't forget to discuss key returns as well!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

While Rover doesn’t offer traditional subscription services, some sitters offer recurring bookings for services like home visits and dog walking. Recurring services come with their own perks, such as flexibility to modify services (up to five weeks in advance), automatic billing, Rover Card updates, and same-day cancellations.

To find sitters in Alpine with recurring or weekly availability, select "Repeat Weekly" and which days you’d like them to care for your pet.

Yes, you can find sitters who have experience with handling special pet needs in Alpine. On Rover:

  • 97% can help with giving oral medications or injections
  • 96% can help with daily exercise

You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.

Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.

If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
