About: I take a steady, attentive approach to pet care—great for dogs that thrive on routine and patience. You can expect clear communication, on-time visits, and a stress-free experience for both you and your pet. I am home pretty much all day every day, so I can give your pet the attention they need. I am available nights and weekends as well I have a large, fully fenced yard where dogs can safely play and get exercise under supervision. Whether your pet prefers being inside or outside, they’ll have plenty of space, attention, and a secure environment throughout their stay.
“Eva was so great with our dog! She spent plenty of time with Lilah and was great with communication, always sharing pictures each visit. Would recommend booking Eva!”

“After having trouble deciding what to do, we were blessed to find Sandi. This was our first time leaving our cat and we couldn't have found a better person to watch over her. Our cat tends to be shy and wants to stay away from people, but in the short time Sandi watched over her, our cat quickly got attached to Sandi. We loved all the pictures we got while we were away. Thank you for taking care of our little Sammy.”

“Ashlie was super responsive and flexible with a last minute drop in request for our dogs and we so appreciate it! The dogs loved her and we will definitely be using her again for future sitting needs!”

About: Pet friendly and love all kinds of animals. We are a home that loves any animal and our kids love having dogs around and show them so much love. Our kids are very well behaved around animals and get along with dogs very well. Someone is always home to watch and care for our furry friends. Love and care is always going to be available for your loved pets. Have a fenced in patio if needed and allow owners to bring their pets crates if they would like. Safety and security is at the top of my priorities to make sure your pet is cared for.
“Lindsey was super flexible in assisting us in a last minute situation. Her communication was excellent and she gave us frequent updates regarding our dog which made us feel at ease. We would highly recommend her.”

About: I have been a cat owner and caregiver for many years. I also grew up with a few dogs so I have some experience with going on walks amongst other things. I used to work for the Cache Humane Society and have been trained on all things dog and cat care! I work full time at a marketing agency but between me and my fiance we would be able to make it work with whatever schedule you want. I can't currently take care of any pets in my home because I live downtown in a large apartment building that has limited pet access.
“Morgan did a great job with our big boy. We were out of the country and she came by for drop-in visits to give him fresh air and some activity. I know he looked forward to the fun visits by all the wonderful photos she took. Thank you Morgan!”

About: I have experience with dogs of all sizes and energy levels. I have my own sweet little rescue dog who is good with other dogs and loves people to death! I am an active and experienced pet owner who knows how hard it is to find someone you trust to look after your little one! That’s why I’m here. I want to help you feel confident and comfortable inviting someone into your home to care for your pet. I have a big fenced yard at my home, and lots of room for dogs to run and play. I pride myself in treating all animals with love and respect. I can recognize dogs’ various signals, and feel confident that I can keep your pet safe, happy and healthy! I am a full time stay at home mom! I would love to take care of your pet in the evenings and weekends while my husband can be home from work with my human babies! As a mom and the manager of my own home, I am a very clean and detail oriented person. I will always treat your home with upmost respect. I’m happy to water plants, pick up your mail, or complete any other small tasks you may need while I’m caring for your pet. I will follow any instructions you have on where you’d like them to sleep, how they like to be fed, rules of the house, etc. your wish is my command!
About: I, with the help of my 3 kids and husband, have fostered animals through the Humane Society of Utah several times, simply because we LOVE animals and my children have BEGGED for animals to care for! I grew up with dogs and cats. We really enjoy both dogs and cats! I had a small dog (Yorkie) for 12 years. When my dog was a puppy I took him to a dog training school where I learned how to handle him, get him to mind, sit, walk on a leash, and behave around other dogs and people. I also learned how to do his grooming/teeth care. He was my little companion for 12 years but he passed away in 2020. We have no other pets right now. I have watched friends'/family's pets several times while they were on trips. I'm comfortable administering medication to animals and taking care of senior animals, and those who need time/space to warm up to us and their new environment. For nervous animals, we take it slow and give them space. I love figuring out what makes your pet happy and doing that for them. I'm a stay-at-home mom with 3 children. I often go on a walk in the morning for a hour. Your dog would be a welcome addition! I'm available on most weekdays and weekends. If I take care of your pet, I may run errands or run my kids to activities but will return home within a few hours. I usually spend most of the day at home. Your pet will have a lot of attention and love and won’t be left alone for long stretches of time. We love to care for animals, but we love to have fun with them!! We love taking dogs on walks, playing fetch, and making obstacle courses (nothing dangerous, haha) for them in the fenced backyard. We like cuddling with pets and giving them food/water and treats. (If allowed by the owner.) We love to see animals happy, healthy, and having fun. My children are sweet, good-natured, and excited to have animals to love and care for. I teach them that sometimes animals need to take breaks and rest, like people. And other times they are ready to play and get exercise. I am always attentive to my children and the animals in our care. Dogs, if they prefer, can be in our fenced backyard during the day. My children will love to play fetch with your dog, or include your dog in imaginative play. Or if the dog prefers to be near me, I will let them follow me around the house during the day, or stay on a dog bed in our main family room. I can easily crate a dog if needed as well. At night, if the dog/cat prefers it, and we feel comfortable as well, your pet can curl up and sleep on a bed with a family member at night. I would keep fresh water, food, and a dog/cat bed out at all times. (Unless instructed otherwise by the owner on feeding.) At night, if it is a good fit for the dog, I would put the dog in our large bathroom on the main floor at night with their food/water and dog bed. They would be in there from 11 pm until 7:30 am. I would let them outside for potty breaks each morning first thing and throughout the day. Cats would be able to play and lounge around the main family room during the day. I would keep kitty litter, food, and water in our large bathroom, which they would have access to throughout the day. At night I would keep the cat in the large bathroom on their cat bed or towels.
“Amazing! And when I saw Amazon I Mean we have one cat that hates strangers. But from day one of my cat meeting her she actually came out every day she was there to care for the babies. Instead of hiding like normal”

“Alecia has been such a life saver for helping with my 5 month old puppy since I work full time. She takes such good care of him and is great about communicating any concerns she has and giving me thorough updates throughout the visits”

“Madeleine was so loving to our kitty, and she was good at communicating updates/questions/concerns when they came up. I do prefer tighter scheduling communication/appointments, but she was great for the things that mattered.”

“London took care of our 2 cats for almost 3 weeks while we were on vacation. London did everything as requested and then some -- like watering our 20+ plants!!! We especially appreciated the daily pictures of our fur babies, which gave us a lot of peace of mind. London's gentle nature even helped our shy cat to feel trusting enough to come out of hiding to greet her.”

About: Animals have always been a huge part of my life, and caring for them is something I genuinely love. As a dog owner myself, I understand how important it is to find someone you can trust with your pet and your home. I have experience caring for dogs of all ages, sizes, and personalities, including administering oral medications and providing attentive care for pets recovering from surgery or with special routines. I'm patient, reliable, and attentive to each pet's individual needs, whether that means energetic walks, playtime, cuddles, or simply keeping them company. I also own my own professional cleaning business, so I'm dependable, detail-oriented, and committed to treating every client's home with the same respect and care I would my own. My goal is to make sure your pets feel safe, comfortable, loved, and well cared for while you're away. I own my own small business, which gives me a flexible schedule and allows me to work pet care around my other commitments. My availability varies from day to day, but I plan my schedule carefully to make sure every pet receives the attention, exercise, potty breaks, and companionship they need. I’m happy to discuss your pet’s normal routine and needs beforehand to make sure we’re a good fit. You can also expect regular updates and photos while your pet is in my care! Your pet’s safety, comfort, and well-being are always my top priorities. I understand that every pet has their own personality, routine, boundaries, and needs, so I’ll carefully follow the care instructions you provide and do my best to keep their routine consistent while you’re away. I’m attentive to changes in behavior, appetite, energy, or anything else that seems out of the ordinary, and I’ll communicate with you promptly if I have any concerns. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I’m also very respectful of their space and will treat your home with the same care and consideration I would want someone to show mine.
“Afia stepped in when our first sitter went MIA after we had already left for our trip and we were so grateful!! Our pup loved her, she was incredibly communicative, and I had no worries at all. Would definitely book again.”

About: Ive had animals my entire life. Everything from dogs, cats, birds, small critters, fish and reptiles, you name it and I have probably had it at some point in my life. I started pet sitting when I was about 10. When my neighbors would go out of town, I would go over throughout the day and let their dogs out, play with them and feed them. As an adult, my friends now have me watching their pets either at their home or mine. They know their babies are in good hands and will be spoiled the way they spoil them. I'm a stay at home mom so I am ALWAYS around! I have worked since I was 16 years old so not having a job just isn't an option for me and I love animals more than most people so why not work with them full time! I'm here if you have a puppy that is still potty training or a pet that needs medicine administered every few hours ( I had a diabetic lab that required shots daily and a pointer with an enlarged heart so I know how important maintaining a medical schedule is). I have a fully fenced yard and a doggy door. I have gates up in my home for my baby but it also works with my pets if I need them out of an area of the house. My pets are allowed on the couches and the bed, we love to snuggle here!

Dog parents share their Rover experiences - Sandy City
Sarah was very attentive, flexible and communicative. She clearly took a personal interest in our pup's well-being and went out of her way to ensure he felt loved while his fav "people" were away. I would not hesitate to entrust our pets to her care going forward.

Megan is absolutely fantastic! She is very professional with great communication. She is super knowledgeable on how to connect with dogs and various training techniques. Our pup immediately took to her and loved every drop-in visit. It's clear she really cares about her dogs and strives to make the most out of every visit with endless rubs and creative play sessions. We've used Megan for 3-4 months now and I highly recommend her to all other dog owners.

My son was unexpectedly required to work overtime and needed someone to walk and feed his dog on short notice. I reached out to Brooklyn, and she responded within five minutes. She kept us updated, sent pictures, and communicated clearly throughout the visit. I highly recommend Brooklyn and will definitely be reaching out to her again in the future.

Kelcie did an amazing job taking care of our dog and our home while we were away! She came by each day without fail, kept our pup happy and loved, and even collected our chicken eggs — which was above and beyond! We came home to a happy dog and everything exactly as we left it. She is reliable, caring, and clearly a true animal lover. We would not hesitate to book her again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a trustworthy sitter!

Afia started coming over in January and has been a wonderful addition to Lucky's welfare team. She was patient with the structured introductions he requires in order for him to allow new humans into his life, and continues to expand on his enrichment opportunities through their interactions and training with new food puzzles. Afia clearly cares about the well-being of dogs in her charge. I'd recommend her to anyone.
