“Fantastic to work with! I made a very last minute request to do drop-in visits for my pup and thankfully they were able to accommodate us. Very nice and friendly and showed up to each visit on time.”

About: I have had pets since I was young and just love animals with all my heart. Currently I have Mythos, a 12 year old Cavachon who loves other pets as much as I do. He is very calm and loving. I work from home so I am available all day to meet your pet care needs. I have the flexibility to care for your pet the same as you would. I live in a two story home and have a small backyard that is fenced. My home is spacious and plenty of room for pet friends.
About: I love dogs, cats and parrots. I have experience feeding, bathing, walking, playing and caring for friends, neighbors and my own animals. I know how important your fur babies are to you and I would love and treat your pet family as if they were my own. I have had 4 dogs for 12 years and 4 parrots for 25 years. I especially love to interact with animals getting on their level to play and cuddle. I love to walk and would play with them outside as they like. I know food can be so important. One of my strengths is organization and would follow feeding and any other instructions to the letter. I am happy to provide daily updates and pictures to give you peace of mind. Your home will be treated with care and left better than it was found. I work weekends and can spend time everyday with your pets. I am a chef and run my own business so when I am working I can take a break to check on your pets. My evenings are free and I can help your pet keep the routine they are used to. I have a fenced in yard and a fur baby who keeps to himself. There is plenty of space to run and play and also nap.
“Mo gave daily updates, and sent lots of photos and videos! She made sure our cats were very well cared for, especially our senior who needs meds. She went above and beyond to play and hang out with our boys, and made sure they received love while we were gone.”

“Betty is the best! She is so wonderful. Our cat loves her so much. She's always on time with her check-ins and always communicates with us. Will rebook with Betty again in the future!”

About: I am a meticulous and thorough person and am committed to giving pets the very best care I can. I promise to treat your pet like my own, and to make sure they are cared for in the way they deserve. I have a very flexible schedule and work from home three days a week, and am able to arrange pet care requirements or requests around my day to day life easily. I have a fully fenced yard for pets and keep separate yard space for large and small breeds. As for pet care visits in the pet’s own home, I am happy to do pet drop in care, though I do not currently offer overnight in home care at the pet’s home.
“Michelle was a life saver! We had to find a sitter that could stop by on very short notice (about a 1 week timeframe). We also requested a very early start time at 5am because we have a puppy. She went above and beyond our expectations. She spent a long time with him and our kitty in the mornings - playing, walking, feeding, and giving belly rubs! It was very clear that they were well taken care of. She is also so kind and has a warm personality. We’d recommend Michelle to anyone who wants their pet loved on and taken care of while you’re away!”

“Chloe is THE BEST! I had to leave my kitty for months unexpectedly and she was so committed to taking the best care of my Jett. Chloe is flexible, easy to communicate with, and makes me feel so comfortable. She goes above and beyond and I trust her wholeheartedly with my fur baby!”

About: I’ve taken care of dogs since I was a child. This varied over the years, but I have walked dogs, stayed at the owners house, or just letting them out to go to the bathroom. I have trained my current chocolate lab to the lovable dog she is today. I am great with animals and have had very little issues with animals in my past. I’m currently working a full time job that is a hybrid role that has flexibility to be fully remote. I have a very flexible schedule and should be able to make most schedules work. I will keep a dog in a fenced in area or always on a leash while taking them outside. I typical don’t have any issues getting a dog into a crate.
“Diane is amazing! It's clear she loves cats and gave my two girls so much love and attention! I've had a rough time finding a good cat sitter and Diane calmed all the anxieties I've had with leaving my cats in someone else's care. Thank you Diane!”

“Jaina was great! You can tell she takes her job seriously and that she seriously likes cats haha. She watched our two kitties while we were out and I'll be sure to use her again in the future.”

About: I am a college student that happens to be a dog owner. I’ve owned dogs all my life and know how to care for dogs of all ages. I’m a full time student and my classes are primarily mid-day. Aside from that, I am free for either walks or drop ins. I can play, watch over, and walk with dogs. My dog is quite energetic so I’m used to walking a dog 2-3 times a day.

About: I’ve grown up around animals my whole life and started pet sitting before I had pets of my own. I’m comfortable with all types of dogs, including reactive dogs, and have experience with medication administration, puppy training, basic commands, and e-collars. I’m patient, reliable, and love making sure every pet feels safe, happy, and cared for! Pet care fits easily into my weekly routine because I have a very flexible schedule and plenty of availability. I’m available throughout the week for walks, drop ins, sitting, and giving pets the attention and care they need. I’m able to work around your schedule and can be flexible with mornings, afternoons, evenings, and weekends. When I’m caring for pets in someone’s home, I like to keep them as comfortable and happy as possible while their owner is away. I’ll stick to their normal routine with feeding, walks, potty breaks, playtime, and lots of attention. I’ll also make sure the house is kept clean and everything is left the way I found it. I treat every pet like they’re my own and want them to feel safe and loved while you’re gone.
“Morgan is absolutely wonderful!! My dogs love when she comes to visit. She’s great at playing with them and doing activities for them and she’s very respectful of my home. I would recommend her to anyone!”

“She was very reliable. It was obvious she cared about my pets and did anything she could think of to make them comfortable. She was also thoughtful enough to bring in the mail!”

“Emma took great care of our pup when we needed someone to drop in and play with her a week after her spay surgery. Emma was on time, extremely communicative and followed our pup’s cues for play time vs. cuddle time. We will definitley use Emma again!”

Jess is wonderful! She did an at in home visit and walked my dog. She provided detailed notes and photos which gave me comfort while I was away. Such a relief to know to know my girl Olive was well taken care of. I will definitely hire Jess again and highly recommend!
My golden retriever loved Elisabeth at first sniff. She was so attentive to my dog when dropping in and very punctual. Amazing love and service when I needed the help. I will definitely book her again and I know my pup will be excited to see her as her sitter.

I highly recommend Natalie! We started with a meet and greet to go over the routine for my dogs and cats, and she handled everything perfectly. She was incredibly sweet with my pets, took great care of them, and sent wonderful picture updates while I was away. I will definitely be using her services again!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
While Rover doesn’t offer traditional subscription services, some sitters offer recurring bookings for services like home visits and dog walking. Recurring services come with their own perks, such as flexibility to modify services (up to five weeks in advance), automatic billing, Rover Card updates, and same-day cancellations.
