“Ellen was amazing, all of our furry babies loved her! We were able to enjoy our vacation knowing they were being well cared for and we appreciated the pictures she sent with each visit. We very highly recommend Ellen!!”

About: I’ve taken care of all kind of dogs, cats, dogs, small cage animals. I have also worked with rover in the past before! I love working with all kind of pets!❤️ they would be very welcomed in our home! I only work 4 hour intervals, my husband is also home when I am not! I’m able to provide bathroom breaks every 3-4 hours ! I have a fenced yard and a camera in my home that lets me see everything! I also do have my dogs kennel trained and my cat has been around other dogs her whole life!
“Eva was so great with our dog! She spent plenty of time with Lilah and was great with communication, always sharing pictures each visit. Would recommend booking Eva!”

“Danielle was amazing and came through in short notice. . She stayed in communication the whole time. Punctual and stayed the entire time. Baloo and I thank you. Plus she put our package inside our house without us even asking. Thanks Danielle we will be using you again in the future.”

“Sami is awesome! We ended up just giving her a key to our apartment and would ask her frequently and often with short notice to come by and take our dog Rey out if we would be away for several hours, which was a huge help. She was great with Rey and always played with her and was very attentive to her needs.”

“Madison is an amazing cat sitter! My cat is extremely shy and rarely lets anyone pet her, but Madison was able to earn her trust and even get some pets in. She followed all of my instructions perfectly, including feeding, litter box maintenance, and cleaning up, and she went above and beyond by vacuuming my home. I could not be happier with her care and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a thoughtful and reliable sitter.”

“We had such a great experience with Christina! Throughout the stay, we received regular updates, photos, and little notes that showed just how well our dog was being looked after. It was clear our dog was happy, relaxed, and getting lots of attention, and love. We especially appreciated the reliability and professionalism, everything was handled exactly as discussed, and even a few extra thoughtful touches went a long way. Coming home to a happy, well-cared-for dog made all the difference. We would absolutely recommend Christina to anyone looking for a trustworthy, caring, and dependable dog sitter. We’ll definitely be booking with her again!”

“When I first met Kate, she was very kind and sweet to my dogs. I could tell that she truly loved dogs and that she would take good care of them while I was gone. She was very reliable and I know that my dogs had good care and love from her. I will definitely Use Kate again.”

About: Hello all dog lovers! My name is Silvia and i'm excited to see that you see me as a potential candidate to be your dog sitter. Let me give you some reasons why i'm a responsible house guest.. I'm an excellent dog sitter, trainer, and have volunteered as a foster parent for animal shelters. I take any concerns seriously. Every dog is different and needs different attention and I will achieve any needs your pooch requires. Please give me a call or send me an email at any time so we can book a stay!
“Jennifer was amazing once again with our puppy. I love getting picture updates from her and she even brought some cute toys for him to play with. I highly recommend her!”

“I am so relieved to have found Kristi! She spent an hour with my funny and sometimes aggressive cat for each of the last 10 days. She sent me daily pictures and updates - and because she listened to my recommendations, my cat was only aggressive with her for the first few days. Other pet sitters have been aggressive back to my cat - not a good way to make a good impression on a stressed out cat. Kristi watered my plants and brought in packages from the front porch. She responded to my messages to her quickly - I will be using her in the future. Highly recommended!”

“Kelly was great with our two kitties. Communicated well and I was able to relax knowing they were in good hands. She even figured out our automatic wet food feeder despite a family emergency not allowing us to do a meet and greet in person.”

About: I’ve grown up with dogs & cats my entire life; they are truly my greatest passion. My girl, a Puggle named Bug, was my entire heart and my whole world for nearly 18 years. I had to say goodbye to her a couple of months ago and my heart is still shattered. I would love to take care of your babies the way I took care of my own. I had Bug from when she was a puppy until her very old lady years that required an EXORBITANT amount of specialized care (meds, shots, diapers, medicated baths, etc.) You name it - I’ve dealt with it. Before my girl got sick and I had to give full-time attention to her, I was my friends/family’s go-to pet sitter for their babies. No one will take better, more thorough and loving care of your pets than me. I can’t wait to kiss them and spoil them with love ❤️ And, as a fellow helicopter dog mom, I welcome the pets who come with a 20 page instruction manual, with specifics from everything regarding feeding rituals, to poop/potty specifications! Feel free to reach out with any questions or concerns! I was recently laid off, so my schedule is wide open! Also, when I am working, I work fully remote. So, even when my employment situation changes, I will still be home to care for your babies. I have a fully fenced in backyard and a big house with lots of beds, couches and dog beds/blankets! I also have lots of dog toys and just about anything else you can think of for dog/cat care (crates, leashes, bowls, etc.) My boyfriend recently moved in with his dog, Jasper. Jasper is extremely mild mannered and exceptionally well-trained. He is a 45lb Border Collie/Blue Heeler mix. If your pooch does not do well with other dogs, I will be able to keep your babies and Jasper 100% separate thanks to the layout of my home. But if you have a pooch who loves to play, they will get along great with Jasper!
“Kali is absolutely the best!! We rebooked her to help us out. So happy we found such a trustworthy and reliable person to take care of our fur baby while we are on vacation. Definitely puts our mind at ease having to leave him at home. If you are looking excellent care she is a must!”

About: I have taken care of pets since I was a kid. My own pets, friends pets and, family pets. I have a calm personality that tends to make them feel safe and secure, and I can provide lots of love and snuggles to make sure that they feel taken care of. I am currently a stay at home, mom. I am home every day except for routine errands and or appointments for my kids. There will be plenty of bathroom breaks, walks and belly rubs. I have a large fenced yard and a pup of my own who loves to play. We are also able to crate your dog if that is preferred or they are welcome to snuggle up on a dog bed next to mine.
“Betty is the best! She is so wonderful. Our cat loves her so much. She's always on time with her check-ins and always communicates with us. Will rebook with Betty again in the future!”

About: When I adopted my first dog as an adult, Karina, I decided I wanted to become a dog trainer and have since become certified. I have worked and volunteered at shelters throughout the years and I love working with and caring for any and all pets. I also understand both dog and cat body language thoroughly. My experience has made me a skilled animal handler, and I would love to help you and your furbabies! I am currently working part-time, so I'm available Sunday, Monday, and Friday between 11am-7pm right now. I also have varied availability on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays depending on the timing and service required. I have a lot of experience with varying temparments, including shy, excited, and everything in between. My heart belongs to animals and I will provide them with anything they need including snuggles, play time, enrichment, or exercise.
“Suzanna watched our dog at her home and also did drop in visits for our two cats. We loved being able to have one person that could take care of all our animals. She even agreed to watch after our snake! She updated us everyday and sent us pictures. We came home to four happy animals.”

“Chris took care of my bunny on short notice, which I really appreciate! He was able to come over same day to grab a key/go over Bij’s routine. He was very communicative and left me detailed messages after his visits, I would ask him to watch my pet again!”

About: I provide calm, home-based dog boarding and daycare where your pup is treated like family, not just “watched.” I am generally home all day and host one dog or one family at a time, so your pet receives personalized attention, a peaceful environment, and plenty of love, play, and one-on-one care throughout their stay. No crowded boarding situations. No overwhelming chaos. Just a safe, cozy home where dogs can settle in, relax, and feel comfortable. I have almost 30 years of hands-on experience, caring for dogs of all sizes, temperaments, energy levels, and unique needs. My experience includes: • Owning and training dogs since I was 18 (almost 30 years) • 15 years fostering and helping to rehabilitate abused and neglected dogs • Animal behavior and handling training through Best Friends Animal Society and Salt Lake County Animal Services • Volunteer experience as a dog specialist in high-stress shelter environments • Pet First Aid & CPR certification • Experience administering oral and injectable medications • Currently enrolled in the GoodPup Dog Training Course to continue expanding my knowledge and skills My goal is simple: for you to feel completely at ease while your dog feels safe, loved, and right at home. I am generally home all day. I adjust my day around your pup(s). Energetic and needs a lot of exercise? We'll go for walks, hikes, and play to their hearts content. More of a couch potato? Laid back couch snuggles are one of my favorite pass times! Fur babies are rarely left alone. If I do need to step out, it is typically only for a short period of time, usually no more than a an hour or two. Your dog’s safety, comfort, and happiness are always my priority. Dogs staying with me enjoy a calm, home-based environment with plenty of love, attention, and one-on-one care. There are no pets or children in the home, which helps create a quieter, lower-stress environment for dogs who prefer a little more peace and consistency. My family are all dog people, so pups are always surrounded by people who genuinely love and enjoy them. We have a fenced patio/run where dogs can safely enjoy outdoor time, stretch their legs, and take easy potty breaks throughout the day. I also have a secure lead setup in the front yard where dogs who enjoy the outdoors can safely relax, sunbathe on the outdoor bed, sniff around, and enjoy some fresh air while supervised. We’re also surrounded by some of Daybreak’s best dog-friendly parks, walking trails, and green space, including areas near the lake, which means lots of safe, leashed walks, fresh air, sniffing, and enrichment. For everyone’s comfort and safety, I require a meet & greet for all new clients to make sure we are a great fit before booking.
West Jordan dog parents share their Rover experiences
Emily provided absolutely fantastic care for our four pets (three dogs and one cat) while we were away for Fall Break weekend. We were constantly put at ease thanks to her proactive and excellent communication. She sent us regular updates and adorable photos throughout the entire weekend, showing us how happy and comfortable all of them were. It’s clear Emily doesn’t just watch pets; she genuinely loves them. Our crew was relaxed and happy when we returned, and she even left behind a surprise bag of extra treats for them, which was such a thoughtful touch. If you have multiple pets and need a responsible, loving, and communicative sitter, we highly recommend Emily! We will definitely be booking her again.

Betzaida did an amazing job taking care of Olly! He loved having her and we loved not having to worry about him and could enjoy our vacation. Sent us photos each time and he warmed up to her quickly. Was prompt and arrived on time for him. Would highly recommend Betzaida!
