“From first contact until the end of the booking, Kara was very responsive and professional. She took great care of my cats. She takes her job seriously and it shows. I will definitely be booking her again. Thanks!”

“Heaven did two drop in visits for me and sent amazing updates! She is very friendly with a calming presence. She was able to come at odd hours which is so appreciated! She sent photos where I could tell the dogs were both very calm and happy. If I ever need her help again I won’t hesitate to reach out!”

“We had such a great experience with Christina! Throughout the stay, we received regular updates, photos, and little notes that showed just how well our dog was being looked after. It was clear our dog was happy, relaxed, and getting lots of attention, and love. We especially appreciated the reliability and professionalism, everything was handled exactly as discussed, and even a few extra thoughtful touches went a long way. Coming home to a happy, well-cared-for dog made all the difference. We would absolutely recommend Christina to anyone looking for a trustworthy, caring, and dependable dog sitter. We’ll definitely be booking with her again!”

“On short notice, Gene saved the day. My sister’s wedding was all perfectly planned except I forgot about having someone watch the dogs. He met with us the day before we needed him and was willing to be “on call” for the morning after just in case. He left a wonderful note with updates and sent photos. It’s the little things. We’ll definitely book again.”
About: I have taken care of pets since I was a kid. My own pets, friends pets and, family pets. I have a calm personality that tends to make them feel safe and secure, and I can provide lots of love and snuggles to make sure that they feel taken care of. I am currently a stay at home, mom. I am home every day except for routine errands and or appointments for my kids. There will be plenty of bathroom breaks, walks and belly rubs. I have a large fenced yard and a pup of my own who loves to play. We are also able to crate your dog if that is preferred or they are welcome to snuggle up on a dog bed next to mine.
“Eva is great with our anxious pup. She’s flexible with last minute schedule changes and that’s very helpful. Ginger loves her weekly visits and her little walks around the neighborhood.”

About: I've owned and cared for cats and dogs my whole life. I have always had a soft spot for all animals and consider them the purest souls on earth. I believe we each have an individual responsibility to provide the best environment and stimulation for the creatures in our care as we are lucky to be stewards over them for their time with us. It is important to me to provide a fully pet-safe sanitized, comfortable, safe environment for every cat that stays in my hotel. I can't wait to get to know and spend time with your little loves! I am a stay at home mom who is available round the clock to care for your furry best friend! Cat Boarding is my specialty but I have also owned dogs my whole life, both big and small and am ready to play with and walk your pup! I am available for my kitty clients around the clock. I check in on them frequently throughout the day and send pictures and videos daily. Each kitty receives mental stimulation and individual play time (if wanted by them of course) as well as one hour a day of kitty tv. When out on adventures with my dog-walking clients, we will explore different places, spend time sniffing and getting mental stimulation, and end each adventure with some play and snuggles.
“Afia stepped in when our first sitter went MIA after we had already left for our trip and we were so grateful!! Our pup loved her, she was incredibly communicative, and I had no worries at all. Would definitely book again.”

“Meisha did an amazing job caring for our cat Baxter. She is a reliable, communicative sitter. Meisha sent photos and updates at every drop-in and was easy to get a hold of if we had a question. We definitely plan to hire Meisha when we travel again in the future.”

About: I’m a lifelong dog lover with years of experience raising and caring for dogs. I come from a warm, family‑focused environment and have raised several children, which has taught me patience, calmness, and attentiveness; which are qualities that naturally extend to the pets I care for. Your four‑legged companion will be treated like family, with consistent routines, gentle guidance, and a safe, loving atmosphere. When your dog is with me, they’re not just being watched, they’re being welcomed! I send regular updates, photos, and videos so you always know your pet is safe and happy Because my home runs on a steady, family‑friendly routine, caring for pets blends seamlessly into my day. I’m already used to managing schedules, staying attentive, and keeping a peaceful environment — all of which help me give your dog reliable, loving care from morning to night. At my home I have a fully fenced yard with plenty of space to play and be active. I offer plenty of one‑on‑one attention, and a peaceful atmosphere. Dogs are supervised, kept comfortable, and treated like part of the family throughout their stay. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I respect their space and follow all instructions exactly as given. I maintain the dog’s normal routine to help them feel secure; including feeding, walks, playtime, and any medication needs. I keep the home tidy, communicate clearly, and ensure the pet receives consistent, attentive care. My goal is to make your dog feel comfortable while keeping your home just the way you left it.
“Kristi is always wonderful – my cats love her. She is very thorough, and leaves everything very clean. She sends me photos of her snuggling with my babies, and they interact with her in common ways. I will always choose her!”

“Suzanna was awesome!! We needed someone completely last minute and she was able to make it work! She sent the cutest pictures and updated to help me know my pups were safe!! Thank you Suzanna!!”

About: I have always been around dogs (both big and small) and cats. I have also had a gecko and fish. I love playing and taking care of animals. I currently work full time but I am available after 4 pm. I always have Monday and Wednesdays off so I can help out anytime. I am so used to taking care of dogs that I can crate, feed, water, cuddle, walk, let outside and play. I will treat each and every pet as my own. I believe pets are family.
About: I have three pups, two of which are only here every two weeks, allowing me to spend quality time with your pup when they stay with me! I let my pups on all furniture (unless you don’t want me to) and my day revolves around them. I have a 12 year old, 4.5 lb teacup poodle/chihuahua mix with severe anxiety issues. He is here with me full-time, so I am more than capable to handle anxious dogs with extra needs. I work from home majority of the week, occasionally having to go into the office 1-2 per week for about 5 hours a day. My schedule varies week by week but I am happy to go over that with you before having you book with me to make sure that works for your pup. I have a doggy door, and a .25 acre fully fenced backyard for your pups to enjoy! I allow all pets on furniture (unless you don’t want them to be on furniture) and will accommodate to your pets needs, whatever they may be.
“Madison is an amazing cat sitter! My cat is extremely shy and rarely lets anyone pet her, but Madison was able to earn her trust and even get some pets in. She followed all of my instructions perfectly, including feeding, litter box maintenance, and cleaning up, and she went above and beyond by vacuuming my home. I could not be happier with her care and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a thoughtful and reliable sitter.”

About: Let me love your pet as much as you do! I offer plenty of running trails to walk on, in a safe neighborhood. I appreciate having a good companion along this path of life, so let me help you take care of yours! I prefer pets that are trained and can deal with this smaller space (house trained along with strict trainings on sit, stay, down, no biting, leash trained). I work a full time job at home, so watching your pet at my home is ideal! I can do drop ins to your home if we can sort out the timing! I can offer most services but mostly walks, feeding and lots of play time! I am only accepting full house training, and can be attentive to all the animals' needs!
About: I’m now offering basic obedience training! Let me know what you’d like me to work on with your pup & come home to a better behaved dog! We've had dogs our entire lives, they are part of the family! If you have other animals that need care we also have experience with bunnies, snakes, iguanas, ducks, chickens and cats! I currently work from home. One of us is almost always home. Availability to take dogs on at least 1-2 walks or hikes per day. If they are fetch lovers, our back yard opens up to a private park. Our last dog was so great off leash, but we know all dogs aren't, and can ensure those that are flight risks will stay in fenced area or on leash. We live in a very safe quiet cul-de-sac and private community. We also have experience with dog aggression and can prevent and handle that as well. I work from home and will be with dogs most days! We usually try to get in two walks per day. One in the morning and one in the evening We have a fully fenced yard that opens up to a beautiful private park, along with three others and a great trail within walking distance.
“Lianna did a great job taking care of our kitty and was willing to make changes and extend the booking when we had a change of plans. She also helped out by watering our garden and keeping my plants from dying in the summer heat. Thanks, Lianna!”

Spencer did such a great job with my girls! I think that they are missing him and all the attention he gave them 😂 He went above and beyond to make sure both dogs got lots of attention, pets and loves. I was very nervous as that this was my first time away from them, but Spencer was very reassuring. I highly recommend him, thanks Spencer!

I highly recommend Natalie! We started with a meet and greet to go over the routine for my dogs and cats, and she handled everything perfectly. She was incredibly sweet with my pets, took great care of them, and sent wonderful picture updates while I was away. I will definitely be using her services again!

Emily provided absolutely fantastic care for our four pets (three dogs and one cat) while we were away for Fall Break weekend. We were constantly put at ease thanks to her proactive and excellent communication. She sent us regular updates and adorable photos throughout the entire weekend, showing us how happy and comfortable all of them were. It’s clear Emily doesn’t just watch pets; she genuinely loves them. Our crew was relaxed and happy when we returned, and she even left behind a surprise bag of extra treats for them, which was such a thoughtful touch. If you have multiple pets and need a responsible, loving, and communicative sitter, we highly recommend Emily! We will definitely be booking her again.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
While Rover doesn’t offer traditional subscription services, some sitters offer recurring bookings for services like home visits and dog walking. Recurring services come with their own perks, such as flexibility to modify services (up to five weeks in advance), automatic billing, Rover Card updates, and same-day cancellations.
