This was my first time booking with Genny and she took excellent care of my senior pups. I don’t leave them very often, and this is also the first time I’ve left them in the care of someone in their home, that wasn’t my own family. I am very protective of my pups and am very hesitant of improper care for my dachshunds. They have kind of a unique feeding and bedtime routine and she conquered it with ease. I felt comfortable with her and her family when we met before booking! While on my vacation, I felt they were in good hands with her, especially after the first update. She consistently provided me with plenty of photos and text updates, about three times a day, just keeping me in the loop which was a welcome surprise! My pups seemed very happy in her photos and got plenty of their favorite.. sun time. Thank you, Genny, for taking such good care of my pups!

Schedule
My role as a SAHM has changed, and now I'll be working part time at my daughter's school. This means that my ability to accept pups will be a little different than in the past. While I may be gone for a few hours each day, it's likely that my husband will be home to keep an eye on your baby and play with them as needed. We go on walks, play fetch, and give plenty of attention. When not actively engaged with me, I have a very friendly dog to keep them company. However, due to both of us working, it is possible what neither of us will be home for a short period of time on any given day. For this reason, we would only be able to accept pups that can handle being alone with my dog for up to 2 hours a day.

Safety, trust & environment
My whole property is fenced and I have a very friendly pup of my own to keep your baby company. When home, the main gate will be closed and the dogs can roam the entire property. If I need to step out, there is a separate large front yard that is fenced. I can also crate if needed or preferred. If the weather is poor, pups are welcome inside where they will get even more attention from our daughter.
Pets
A typical day
We would love to help stimulate your dog mentally and physically through games and walks. In addition to our large yard, we live close to the Jordan Parkway Trail as well as many other large parks. There is also a great neighborhood loop that we can use for walks. When staying put at the house and not actively involved with me, my own pup would love to play, too.
