About: I've taken care of all sorts of pets for friends and family ever since I could drive myself. I've taken care of senior pets, special needs pets, and have had to give medication to pets who need it. Besides taking care of others' pets, I grew up having tons of dogs, and I currently take care of my three cats. I'm currently a college student, so my schedule will revolve around my classes. That being said, I try to allow myself plenty of time beyond classes, especially in mornings and evenings, and I will always have weekends free. Here's my current schedule (when I will not be available): Monday: 11-6 Tuesday: Free! Wednesday: 11-6 Thursday: Free! Friday: 10-2 Weekends: Free! I always go outside with a pet to make sure everything is okay (no gates are open, they don't eat anything bad, etc.). I've had a few walk-aggressive dogs growing up, so I know how to safely handle escalated situations on walks. Overall, I put safety above all else because pets are such big parts of our lives, so their safety is a must.
About: I’ve always grown up with dogs and have rescued a couple that have found loving homes. As an IT professional who sits at a computer for long hours, having a chance to walk and engage with pets is something therapeutic for me. I have extensive experience primarily with herding breeds (Border Collies) as they have been the most fun and challenging to work with. In general as a high energy individual, high energy breeds are not a problem for me. :) I work fully remote so my schedule is pretty flexible and can be catered to your needs. I have a lot of free time in the evenings, especially. In a clients home I can accommodate whatever needs as I am very familiar with crate training. Proper exercise for your pet or some training as well!

About: I've had pets all my life (dogs, cats, donkeys, chicken) and love visiting friends who have all sorts of animals (including tarantulas!!). I volunteer at animal humane societies to walk and socialize with the pets for the past 10 years and worked at a dog daycare where I kept both small and large dogs -- my favorite job so far!! I have recently left my engineering job to go back to school and have more flexibility with my time throughout the day. I used to Rover when I was in college and enjoyed it so much I'm eager to have time again to continue caring for pets. If you have a fenced yard I can play with your pet outside, or can play with them however you'd prefer. I love walking with the pets and letting them explore and lead the way (unless you are leash-training then I can keep that in mind!), but any interaction with them brings me joy! As for cats, I'll follow any tips you provide. Have a cat that loves cuddling? I'll lay still so they can cuddle! Is yours energetic and has a favorite toy? I'll make sure they get focused play time during my visit!
“Sarah was the best pet sitter ever! Even the dogs loved her so much and she loved them! She stayed with them all the time and she would send us updates and pictures everyday, she would feed them and play with them and on top of all of that we came back to the house even cleaner then how we left it! She even came so early at 6:30 because we asked if she could and she was amazing! Our little puppy isn't the best with new people but he absolutely fell in love with Sarah! Michael was so great and attentive to our two girls! He is very friendly and our two cats instantly felt comfortable with him! Cameron was great to work with. We couldn’t get our normal Rover sitter on short notice so we got Cameron when we really were in a bind. My puppy had just been spayed and I couldn’t get out of a few work things that came up, so Cameron stepped in and kept our little border collie puppy well looked after and even gave her meds. It is difficult to keep an energetic border collie puppy calm while healing from a spay surgery and Cameron did great with lots of pics and updates. Would use again!
