About: I grew up with multiple dogs, have provided paid dog care for 10 years, and currently have my own 8-year-old dog, so caring for pups has been part of my life since childhood. My mom is a professional dog trainer, and I've picked up a lot from her over the years about reading dog behavior and body language. I'm comfortable with anxious or shy dogs and know how to help them feel safe. I'm also confident giving medications when needed. I'm an active person who loves going for walks, and I like bringing dogs along when possible — so your pup won't just be sitting around, they'll get plenty of exercise and attention too. I am a full-time Master of Social Work student at the University of Utah. I am available for morning pet car every day of the week. I am available for evening pet care Mon, Tues, Fri, Sat, and Sun. I am available for midday drop ins and care Fri-Sun. Dogs get let out 1st thing in the morning, 1st thing when I return home from being out, and last thing before I go to bed. When I am home I respond to physical behaviors and vocal communication, defaulting to a potty break every few hours. Dogs get at least one physical outing a day. For both dogs and cats, I take time to be restful around the house so they can chill near me and/or cuddle and receive attention.

About: I have raised my German Shepherd since she was a puppy and trained her myself. We got compliments all of the time for her well behaved and nice selection of tricks. I grew up with cats as well and know that it takes some time to adjust to someone new, as I respect animals need for that period of adjustment. I have a genuine love for animals. I debated about leaving Harper a rating for the sole reason that if word got out about how awesome she is I might have a hard time booking her in the future. I have a 15 year old dog that is extremely attached to me and suffers from separation anxiety. I had an opportunity of a lifetime to visit several countries in Europe, but hesitated because of my fear that something might happen while I was gone. We did several trial runs and by the time I left I knew that I was going to have a great time knowing that Chloe would too. Harper is very caring and attentive and provided numerous pictures and updates per day. She comes highly recommended. If I can trust my Chloe with her rest assured you can too!!!

Leaving Enzo is incredibly hard for us—he’s our baby—and Emily went above and beyond to put our minds at ease. She sent photos and short videos throughout each day, including meals, walks, enrichment, and goodnights, and always kept us informed or asked questions when needed. It was clear from her updates—and their very sweet goodbye when we got home—that Enzo genuinely loved her. She was also incredibly respectful of our home. We left a clean house and came home to one, which was so appreciated after a long trip. Emily is sweet, funny, communicative, responsible, and clearly has a genuine love for animals.
