About: I’ve taken care of dogs for about 8 years now and have owned my Bernese Mountain Dog, Santana, for 5 years. Santana went through intense training in her first year and is also helpful in taking care of and training other dogs. We’re excited to meet and take care of your dogs! My husband and I work full time from home so someone is always home to keep an eye on the dogs. I own 1 dog so it is required that your dog must do well with other dogs. I have a fenced backyard and a dog to keep your dog company. I have two extra rooms in my house if you request for your dog to sleep in a crate or in another room. About: I have been loving, caring for and training dogs since I was a young child. My first family dog was at age two, and I have always been drawn to care for these sweet creatures! I am an elementary school teacher, and I love caregiving. I have a background in Psychology and Neuroscience and I have trained and worked with classical and operant conditioning models, which can be helpful in the training realms with the pups! I have experience training and caring for small and large dogs. I am a school teacher, and I am off for the summer. About: Growing up, I had a Cavalier King Charles whom I loved. Since moving to Utah 5 years ago, I played dog-dad to a couple of the best medium-sized dogs you could find, and finally made the leap to get a pup of my own in Spring 2023. Piper has added so much to my life but also loves having other friends around! I've got a fenced in backyard and have got a park a block away where the dogs can run around, chase balls, etc For work, I own my own outdoor lighting business. Occasionally I have days where I will be out all day and I don't offer daycare on those days. Most days, I work primarily from home but also leave for periods to do sales calls. Dogs are typically not left alone for longer than 3 hours during a weekday. On weekends, I am hopefully out hiking / camping / trail running and love having dogs with me during all those activities. Very flexible on pet care during the week and over weekends, as long as they like to be as active as me, we'll get along fine! I likely won't take on boarders over the weekend during snowboarding season. I have a large fenced-in yard that your dogs can run around in. I've also got great neighbors with a few furry friends who are always welcoming to new ones to play with! Additionally, there is a dog park a block away that I enjoy taking dogs to for extra running around! My work schedule is always changing week to week, but I have control over scheduling so I can work around day care / boarding commitments. Typically I am primarily working from home 3-4 days / wk I have a fenced in backyard as well as 1 high energy pup to keep your fur-baby company and keep them active!
