I’ve been around dogs my entire life—caring for my own, as well as friends’ and family members’ pups. With over two years of experience running my own dog-sitting business, plus a background as a veterinary technician and volunteer with the Humane Society, I’m confident caring for dogs of all ages and needs, including seniors and those requiring medication. As an active person who loves the outdoors, I’m always up for a hike, a long walk, or some playtime at the park. I have a degree in Wildlife Biology and a lifelong passion for animals of every kind. Most importantly, I’m responsible, communicative, and dedicated to giving your dog the same love and care I’d give my own.

I prefer to do in-home boarding to keep the dog happy in the environment they are used to while you’re away! I always adhere to the guidelines you provide me for your pet(s)!

We recently had Sophia watch our home and dog Bonny while we were away, and we couldn't be happier! Her communication was excellent throughout and she sent regular updates and photos that gave us total peace of mind. Bonny was clearly well cared for and happy when we returned. We'll absolutely be using Sophia again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a reliable, attentive house and pet sitter!

Sophia is literally the best pet sitter we have ever had! She went above and beyond by giving our dogs baths, grooming around my puppy’s eyes (she is an experienced groomer), and took the best care of our dog when they got sick during her stay. She made sure we came home to clean sheets and a tidy house after our trip. We will def be booking again!!

Schedule
I’m currently only working as a part-time paraeducator so I will have ample time to be around and stay active with your pup(s)! I’m gone for 7 hours for work (Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday).
