“Evelynn took amazing care of my rescue pup while I was away! Communication was great and I received multiple pupdate photos. She asked super thoughtful questions about my dog during the stay; hope to book again!!!”

“Aleya was wonderful with communication and sending photos of our dogs while she watched them. We appreciated her attentiveness and care while we were gone. Would definitely recommend! :)”

“Annie is magic. She accomplished in 2 hours what we couldn’t do in 6 months. We came home to a cohesive pack of happy dogs and can take separation gates down. Never will we ever use anyone else.”

“I had to go out of town for a week on a business trip and Heather did a fabulous job taking over! I have a three-legged epileptic senior chihuahua and she met his needs. Both of my dogs adore her and I’m so glad she was available! She’ll definitely be my first choice whenever I need help. Her videos many pictures are so comforting and fun to see!”

“Emily is fantastic. She made sure all of Kodas needs were met while watching her, including taking her for hikes and trips to the dog park! It’s always reassuring knowing Koda is having fun and getting exercise when I have to travel for work. Emily was easy to communicate with and left the house very tidy. I’ll definitely be utilizing Emily’s services again.”

About: My whole life I've grown up with many dogs and I absolutely adore them!! I love walking them, playing with them, taking them out for car rides, etc. For a little over three years now I've been dogsitting and catsitting for my dad's friends. I've cared for cats previously, but I didn't have my very first cat until very recently, and I adore them as well! I'm more than willing to scoop litter, pick up after they potty, walk pets, and have a designated play time with them (: During the summer I work part time in the evenings and am not very busy outside of that, so I'm more than able to be with the pet during the day. At night, I usually work for about 5/6 hours, and am flexible enough to check on pets at night after work as well. In the fall when school starts, I will not be so available for check ins, but am able to spend nights with pets, and am flexible enough to do some dogwalking if necessary. When that time approaches, I will update my availability! Since cats don't usually require to be let outside, I'll be much more flexible with catsitting than dogsitting, but am still willing to do both! I usually work at my job 3-4 nights a week. In client's homes I make sure to spend a good amount of time with pets because I know they're missing their owners. I give them treats, pet them, cuddle with them, and walk them. Before I leave for anywhere I make sure that they have food, water, and they've used the potty, that way clients can be assured there will be no accidents in the home, and their pet is being properly cared for. Some cats prefer to spend time alone, and if that's the case, of course I have no problem leaving them be. As a pet owner myself, I can tell when sometimes the pets don't want to play and just wanna nap, or when they want to be left alone. Additionally, I make sure to take care of their house and clean up after myself! Beforehand, I'd love to meet with the client that way I can get to know everyone, and build some trust between me, the client, and the pet (:
“Aria was an awesome house and pet sitter for us! She was super responsive, prompt, and took such great care of everything while we were away. She gave us peace of mind! Thank you so much, hope to see you again soon!”

“There aren’t enough words of gratitude that I have for the care and attention Betty provided when sitting my pups! She communicates as often as I need. She sends updates and it is clear that my pups are well loved when she is with them!”
“Gaby is a gem! She did SO well with our sweet senior pup, going above and beyond to give her lots of snuggles and attention, sending us frequent updates and cute photos, and taking great care of our house too. She cares deeply about animals and we are grateful she cares for ours too! She came for meet and greets, asked great questions, and noted down all the important details about our dog including medications etc.. We would strongly recommend her to anyone and can’t wait to have her back over to care for our dog again!”

“Michelle was an absolute DREAM to have watch Chester. The updates she would give were so descriptive and playful. She really went the extra mile to make sure our dog had the best experience possible and that we were not stressed at all about leaving him in her hands. She was incredibly kind and considerate to all our needs and was very communicative. We would absolutely book her again and look forward to doing so!”

“Zoe was amazing! Our German Shepherd is typically an anxious dog around new people but Zoe made him feel comfortable almost immediately. We felt very secure knowing that he was being well taken care of. Plus we got lots of pics and updates throughout our time away. We will definitely be having Zoe over again to watch Obi!”

“Danielle was great. Came home and I could tell Chinook had been cared for with love. I'll reach out to Danielle again when headed out of town. If you need a sitter or walk, she's the one.”

“We have used MacKenzie on two occasions now she is absolutely wonderful, very personable with our little dog Sophie. When we call in or text to check in on how things are going, she gets back to us right away always gives us a good report on how things are going and just makes us feel so comfortable that she’s home taking care of our little dog. She really knows what she is doing. She loves pets and knows how to take very good care of them. I would highly recommend her. You will not be disappointed.”

“Emily is highly dependable and has a great rapport with our puppy. She is patient, friendly, and clearly has a love for animals. I need someone to watch our pup who communicates effectively and in a timely manner and she definitely is that person. We will be requesting Emily to be our dog sitter every time we aren't around. ”

“We can’t thank Spencer enough. Our dog sitter had a family health emergency after we were already out of state. Spencer came to the rescue and stayed with our dog and could not have been kinder, more responsible, and flexible with a last minute and chaotic situation. We would be thrilled to have her watch our dog again in the future and cannot speak highly enough of her professionalism and adaptability.”

Pet parents share their Rover experiences - Zions Park
Anna was so accommodating to my senior dog’s needs, mostly just being wholly present, which made it feel comfortable for me to leave him while I enjoyed a music festival. As he loses his vision, he is increasingly insecure when left alone. I hope to work with Anna again.

Morgan was amazing. She was super communicative, kind, and reliable. She kept me posted on how things were going and promptly responded to any questions I had. From the pictures and videos she shared, it was clear that Maya felt totally comfortable and had a ton of fun with Morgan and her pup Goldie. The house was also spotless when we got back. We’d love to have Morgan and Goldie back next time we have to leave town!

Tom was a great sitter! He was a great communicator from start to finish, which gave us peace of mind while we were away. Shoney clearly loved him, and it was obvious he took wonderful care of our pup. He followed all of our requests, left our home spotless, and was incredibly respectful of our space. On top of that, he has such a warm, trustworthy vibe that made the whole experience easy and stress-free. We would absolutely book Tom again and highly recommend him to anyone looking for a reliable, caring sitter!

Emily was a fantastic dog sitter! She is very easy to coordinate with and sent text/picture updates daily. She took my dog to the reservoir and on walks at the park in addition to spending time with him in-between. I was very content to know my pup was in good hands. I’d highly recommend her to anyone and would definitely hire her again!

Beyond belly rubs and feeding schedules, a house sitter’s presence may provide an additional layer of security for your home. However, you will need to arrange overnight stays and other household tasks with your sitter when reaching out to them. Not all sitters offer the same services. Common household tasks you can negotiate include:
- Mail & deliveries: Collecting letters and packages so they don't pile up.
- Plant care: Keeping your indoor or outdoor garden hydrated.
- Trash & recycling: Taking trash cans to the curb on scheduled pickup days.
- Home security: Sitters can stay overnight to keep your home occupied.
The best way to align on expectations is during your free Meet & Greet. Use this time to provide a "home cheat sheet" that includes your preferred Zions Park walking routes, the location of your favorite pet store, and any specific quirks about your home’s security or appliances.
It’s helpful to think of house sitting as a "home base" service. Most sitters in Zions Park maintain their normal daily routines, like running errands or heading to the office, meaning your pet should be comfortable being alone for a few hours at a time. If your pet needs a little extra company, here is how to find the perfect match:
- Look for "WFH" sitters: Many sitters mention "Work from Home" on their profile to indicate they’ll be present for the majority of the day.
- Update your pet’s profile: Write down how long your pet can comfortably be left alone. This helps sitters quickly determine if their schedule aligns with your needs.
- Communicate 24/7 needs: Standard house sitting usually doesn't include constant supervision. If your pet requires round-the-clock care, be sure to discuss this upfront.
Tip: Use the Meet & Greet to confirm a sitter's typical "away" windows. Transparency ensures your pet stays happy and your sitter can plan their day effectively!
Key handling is entirely up to you and your sitter to agree on during the Meet & Greet or in the Rover app. Most pet parents in Zions Park choose to hand over a spare key or digital fob in person, while others arrange a lockbox or unique access code. Don't forget to discuss key returns as well!
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your pet to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your pet is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.

You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
