About: Hello! My name is Oliver, and it would be a privilege to care for your pet(s)! I am currently a first year medical student at the University of Utah, and I live in the East Bench neighborhood of Salt Lake. I'm relatively new to Rover but grew up alongside dogs/cats in Montana and have several years of experience sitting for the pets of friends and family. My school obligations this year leave me with availability to check on pets at least every 4 hours from Thursday evening through Monday evening, and I won't take a job unless I'm sure I can provide the most attentive care possible according to your animal's needs. Please don't hesitate to reach out if I can help hold down your fort while you're away for the weekend! I work Monday through Friday, and am able to leave to check in on pets multiple times throughout the day if needed. If your pet requires daily exercise, I am happy to take them running/walking in the morning and/or evening I will diligently follow whatever instructions or stipulations you have for your pet's care. I am also happy to stay in your home if you would like, and can manage any basic household needs you may have, such as plant watering, trash take-out, etc.

About: I have raised my German Shepherd since she was a puppy and trained her myself. We got compliments all of the time for her well behaved and nice selection of tricks. I grew up with cats as well and know that it takes some time to adjust to someone new, as I respect animals need for that period of adjustment. I have a genuine love for animals. I currently have two orange cats, Pumpkin and Butternut who are spoiled rotten. I’d love a chance to spoil your fur baby! I am currently a full time student at SLCC in the nursing program. I attend class every Wednesday and Friday from 8am-12pm which would be the only time I am unavailable during a typical week! If booking on a Wednesday or Friday morning, I would have to guarantee enough time for me to be at class on time. So great! I had not used Rover before so I was a bit nervous leaving my dog with a stranger but Lauren is very understanding and kind. Her place has a big yard for dogs to enjoy as well. She let me come by for a meet and greet beforehand, which was great to help my dog get acquainted before his stay.
I debated about leaving Harper a rating for the sole reason that if word got out about how awesome she is I might have a hard time booking her in the future. I have a 15 year old dog that is extremely attached to me and suffers from separation anxiety. I had an opportunity of a lifetime to visit several countries in Europe, but hesitated because of my fear that something might happen while I was gone. We did several trial runs and by the time I left I knew that I was going to have a great time knowing that Chloe would too. Harper is very caring and attentive and provided numerous pictures and updates per day. She comes highly recommended. If I can trust my Chloe with her rest assured you can too!!!
