About: Hello! My name is Oliver, and it would be a privilege to care for your pet(s)! I am currently a first year medical student at the University of Utah, and I live in the East Bench neighborhood of Salt Lake. I'm relatively new to Rover but grew up alongside dogs/cats in Montana and have several years of experience sitting for the pets of friends and family. My school obligations this year leave me with availability to check on pets at least every 4 hours from Thursday evening through Monday evening, and I won't take a job unless I'm sure I can provide the most attentive care possible according to your animal's needs. Please don't hesitate to reach out if I can help hold down your fort while you're away for the weekend! I work Monday through Friday, and am able to leave to check in on pets multiple times throughout the day if needed. If your pet requires daily exercise, I am happy to take them running/walking in the morning and/or evening I will diligently follow whatever instructions or stipulations you have for your pet's care. I am also happy to stay in your home if you would like, and can manage any basic household needs you may have, such as plant watering, trash take-out, etc.

About: I’ve taken care of pets of all sizes, I’ve had a dog myself for 8 years and she had a lot of health issues. I’m no stranger when it comes to giving your pet their needs when it comes down to meds or special requirements. 💙 I do part time school in the mornings, I can fit my schedule around your pets needs. I am home most days unless I have therapy on Wednesdays & Thursdays. Preferably I can pet sit better at your residence, my house is not pet friendly enough to have your pet stay with me, but my backyard is fenced but that’s really it.

About: I’ve always grown up with dogs and have rescued a couple that have found loving homes. As an IT professional who sits at a computer for long hours, having a chance to walk and engage with pets is something therapeutic for me. I have extensive experience primarily with herding breeds (Border Collies) as they have been the most fun and challenging to work with. In general as a high energy individual, high energy breeds are not a problem for me. :) I work fully remote so my schedule is pretty flexible and can be catered to your needs. I have a lot of free time in the evenings, especially. In a clients home I can accommodate whatever needs as I am very familiar with crate training. Proper exercise for your pet or some training as well!

We found ourselves needing a house sitter and dog sitter on short notice, and what initially felt like a stressful situation turned out to be one of the best things that could have happened for our two poodles, Otto and Tula. From the moment we left, we knew they were in great hands. She gave them an incredible amount of attention, took them on walks, played with them, and genuinely cared for them as if they were her own. We especially appreciated how thoughtful she was about the summer heat, adjusting walks and activities to make sure they were safe and comfortable and protecting their paws from hot pavement. This was also their first Fourth of July, and she did a wonderful job helping them navigate the fireworks and all the excitement that comes with the holiday. We came home to two happy, relaxed dogs. As a bonus, she left our home in even better condition than we left it. Everything was spotless, organized, and clearly cared for. We couldn't have asked for a better experience and would gladly trust her with our dogs and home again. Highly recommend.”

About: I've gravitated towards dogs my entire life. I've either been playing with them outside, letting them sit on my lap or just cuddling during a movie since I was a child. I own one dog, and we spend a lot of time with my boyfriend's two dogs.
