“Sariah is amazing! So kind, patient and sweet :) She was so patient with Arthur who is slow to warm up to new people. She had him on a walk within minutes :) I’ll be reaching out to her again for sure!”

“Madison was a fantastic sitter. She took excellent care of our three cats, was responsible, and communicated effectively. She even watered some plants for me, which I greatly appreciated. We would definitely work with her again.”

“Karlla was wonderful!! She helped us out last minute for cat sitting over Thanksgiving. Our cat, Falkor’s not super friendly but she loved Karlla and came up to her every time she came over. We really loved the photos too, they were so cute!! We felt really comfortable leaving our cat at home and would love to use Karlla again.”

“Casey was absolutely wonderful - I cannot recommend her more highly! She was so kind, attentive, and compassionate while cat sitting for us. She sent wonderful photos and updates throughout that made me so glad that our cat was in her capable hands. I could tell that she gave my cat such great attention, playing with her and engaging her when she was being shy. She sent great photos that showed how much my cat loved getting pets from her and it made me frel at ease to see that my cat was getting such love and care while I was away. Casey went above and beyond throughout the entire experience, including navigating a situation that arose with our pet incredibly skillfully, compassionately, and generously. I would choose Casey again in a heartbeat and recommend her in the highest - I would trust her deeply with the care of any animal of mine!”

“Isabelle went above and beyond. The amount of care, concern, and thoughtfulness Isabelle showed was exemplary. We appreciate Isabelle’s check ins, communication, and thoughtful questions.”

“Madison was like a breath of fresh air after having an horrific experience with my previous sitter (not from Rover). My boys love her and she took such good care of them. I will definitely be using her again and so should you!”

About: I’ve been a nanny for about 5 years for four different families which has also included pet care and occasional overnights which has made me feel confident in my abilities to give care. I have tended for multiple cats and dogs in different families through dog walking, giving medication, clean up, and overnight care. I’m very respectful and comfortable being in other peoples homes since I’m used to adapting to families dynamics as a nanny. I currently work 9-3pm until school starts then I’ll only be doing school pick up as I’m attending online school. This leaves me with a lot of flexibility and time to hang with your pets! Kk I do have a fenced yard and doggie door. I also am a very clean person if I would be tending your dogs at your home.

“Jessica did an excellent job watching my two kittens. She paid close attention to my care instructions and made sure to send lots of pictures and detailed check ins. I'd definitely use her again.”

“Yosis was unbelievably helpful with a last min drop in booking! I have one wild puppy and another senior. She went above and beyond. I would highly recommend her for drop in visits or overnight stays”

“We had never used Rover before, but were told by others to schedule a meet & greet. From the moment my husband and I met Leigh, we knew she would do a great job taking care of our cat. We came home to a clean home and to a cat that was obviously well taken care of. We received daily updates through Rover as well as photos. Rover should be proud to have Leigh representing its company.”

“We have loved having Jaina stop in and play with our picky GSD. It’s been such a relief having a confident and professional person come to our house and be able to build a relationship with our dog.”

About: I’ve been dog sitting for friends for the past five years, and fostering for 2, and have loved building our little “drop in pet” family along the way. We know how important it is to leave your dog with someone you trust, and we’ll make sure they feel safe, happy, and right at home. Whether your pet enjoys walks, needs medication, extra cuddles, or just a calm and comfortable place to stay. Cat parents share their Rover experiences - Woodridge Terrace
Riley was fantastic! We're new to using Rover, and were nervous at first, as we were booking for drop in visits while we needed to go out of town unexpectedly. I had a good feeling about Riley based on the other reviews. As soon as I connected with her, I knew she'd be a good fit. She even agreed to meet us before the first scheduled drop-in date, to go over the "routine"! Our cats are on a specific and detailed schedule for food and medications. Riley asked great questions, picked up the process immediately, and had great natural instincts. The cats instantly accepted her, even our super scaredy cat walked right up to her and welcome her!!! Honestly, that told me all I needed to know. Riley gave us the confidence and comfort we needed, so we could focus on our time away, knowing that our fur babies were in her very capable and caring hands! We communicated openly and she sent great pictures of play time. As others have said, Riley is kind, caring, attentive, experienced. I'll add that she's genuine, honest, detailed, patient, observant, intuitive, attentive, gentle, respectful, and punctual. She has been exactly who we needed, and we will 100000% book with her again and again.

Kelsie has become our go-to sitter anytime we’re out of town. Our cats absolutely adore her, and it’s clear she genuinely cares about them and their routines. She consistently goes above and beyond - not only making sure the cats are happy and well cared for, but also keeping the house in great shape while we’re away. It gives us so much peace of mind knowing they’re in such good hands. Honestly, it’s hard to imagine trusting anyone else with our cats at this point!

Rachel is the best! She is so attentive to my cats and making sure they have the right food, their meds, and making sure their space is clean and inviting for them. They love when she checks in on them when I’m out of town, and I can rest easy knowing they are being taken care of by a trusted animal lover. My dog loves her walks with Rachel, and is given the love and exercise she needs!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
