About: I have been passionate about pets my whole life. I am often asked by friends and family to dog sit and take care of their pets when they are away. I treat the dogs I sit like my own and give them the care I would to my own dogs. My dogs are used to having new pet friends when I do dog sit and get along well with them. I am experienced with pets that have special needs, and I am happy to care for fur-babies of all ages and needs. You will have peace of mind that your pet is cared for and loved. I work 4 10 hours days so I will be available on the whole weekend to care for pets. I often spend time walking my dogs and playing with them at the park. They get plenty of play time in and out of the house. I will follow any directions needed to care for your pet at home. Ensuring no escapes is priority number 1! If I am pet sitting I have a big back yard and lots of parks nearby.

About: I’ve taken care of dogs since I was 8 years old and trained my dog by myself. My dog, Coco is at home in Salt Lake City, and is still alive (13 years old!) and happy and healthy. I will spoil your pets and love them like you love them I’m a student, and I love pets and walking, so I can do walks once or multiple times per day! About: My whole life I've grown up with many dogs and I absolutely adore them!! I love walking them, playing with them, taking them out for car rides, etc. For a little over three years now I've been dogsitting and catsitting for my dad's friends. I've cared for cats previously, but I didn't have my very first cat until very recently, and I adore them as well! I'm more than willing to scoop litter, pick up after they potty, walk pets, and have a designated play time with them (: During the summer I work part time in the evenings and am not very busy outside of that, so I'm more than able to be with the pet during the day. At night, I usually work for about 5/6 hours, and am flexible enough to check on pets at night after work as well. In the fall when school starts, I will not be so available for check ins, but am able to spend nights with pets, and am flexible enough to do some dogwalking if necessary. When that time approaches, I will update my availability! Since cats don't usually require to be let outside, I'll be much more flexible with catsitting than dogsitting, but am still willing to do both! I usually work at my job 3-4 nights a week. In client's homes I make sure to spend a good amount of time with pets because I know they're missing their owners. I give them treats, pet them, cuddle with them, and walk them. Before I leave for anywhere I make sure that they have food, water, and they've used the potty, that way clients can be assured there will be no accidents in the home, and their pet is being properly cared for. Some cats prefer to spend time alone, and if that's the case, of course I have no problem leaving them be. As a pet owner myself, I can tell when sometimes the pets don't want to play and just wanna nap, or when they want to be left alone. Additionally, I make sure to take care of their house and clean up after myself! Beforehand, I'd love to meet with the client that way I can get to know everyone, and build some trust between me, the client, and the pet (:

Benedicte took great care of our cats. They got food, pets, and litter box cleaning every day and we came home to happy cats. She also did a great job communicating with me during the booking request even though she was out of town and hit intermittent internet access.
Sara helped us with a last-minute request to drop in on our 2 cats (and a gecko!) for several days. She responded immediately and was super communicative throughout our time away. She made me feel at ease that our pets were in good hands, she was happy to help with a couple other things we needed taken care of, and our kitties clearly enjoyed having her visit!
Riley was fantastic! We're new to using Rover, and were nervous at first, as we were booking for drop in visits while we needed to go out of town unexpectedly. I had a good feeling about Riley based on the other reviews. As soon as I connected with her, I knew she'd be a good fit. She even agreed to meet us before the first scheduled drop-in date, to go over the "routine"! Our cats are on a specific and detailed schedule for food and medications. Riley asked great questions, picked up the process immediately, and had great natural instincts. The cats instantly accepted her, even our super scaredy cat walked right up to her and welcome her!!! Honestly, that told me all I needed to know. Riley gave us the confidence and comfort we needed, so we could focus on our time away, knowing that our fur babies were in her very capable and caring hands! We communicated openly and she sent great pictures of play time. As others have said, Riley is kind, caring, attentive, experienced. I'll add that she's genuine, honest, detailed, patient, observant, intuitive, attentive, gentle, respectful, and punctual. She has been exactly who we needed, and we will 100000% book with her again and again.
This was a fairly straightforward job feeding and changing litter for my "scaredy cat" cat whom I knew was probably never going to come out to play or get pets from a stranger. Nonetheless, Celine was prompt and kind in our meet-and-greet and responsive to my texts while away. She followed all instructions, and I'd definitely hire her again.
