“Jami is absolutely amazing!! We couldn’t have been happier with how she took care of our doggos and they were so happy to HNH out with her. She is punctual, sweet, caring, and communicative. Highly recommend her to anyone!”

“Sariah is amazing! So kind, patient and sweet :) She was so patient with Arthur who is slow to warm up to new people. She had him on a walk within minutes :) I’ll be reaching out to her again for sure!”

“Madison was a fantastic sitter. She took excellent care of our three cats, was responsible, and communicated effectively. She even watered some plants for me, which I greatly appreciated. We would definitely work with her again.”

About: I have a few years experience looking after all kinds of dogs; from the elderly, to injured, to dogs needing specific diets or medication. I have also looked after cats and reptiles before! I teach special education kids Tues-Thurs from 9 AM until 12:00 PM during the summer, so during those times I am not available. In the case of dog sitting, just be aware that I won’t be at the home during those times. I will care for and treat your pets as if they were my own; with all of the love and routine that they need. I will follow any and all instructions you need for your pet; including walk schedules, dietary and medicinal needs, and sleep times.
“Emily’s loving care for my three cats allowed me to relax during a two-week trip abroad knowing everything was fine at home. My shy cats love and trust her. She’s a godsend!”

“Heather was amazing with our pup who is recovering from TPLO surgery! She was flexible and communicated with us throughout our trip. She made sure our pup was entertained the whole time. We will definitely be booking again!”

About: I’ve taken care of dogs back to health, fostered dogs, and I have taught high schoolers how to take care of cats and dogs alike. I’m currently working as a teacher. Weekends are preferable if you want 24 hour attention, but I can do more simple things on the weekdays, like walks, and check ins through out the week after 5pm or on lunch breaks if close by! I live in an apartment, where there is a dog park and plenty of places to walk. I have no pets of my own, so I look forward to be around lots of fur babies
“Most importantly: when Kate came over to meet my pup, he instantly loved her! Her communication is wonderful and she took excellent care of my sweet boy while I was out of the country. I would definitely recommend and plan to book more with her in the future!”

“Jessica is always willing to go out of her way and accommodate our varying schedule. She treats the pups like her own and it’s evident in how quickly they have taken to her. She has also been a great trainer for our 4momtj old puppy!”

“Casey was absolutely wonderful - I cannot recommend her more highly! She was so kind, attentive, and compassionate while cat sitting for us. She sent wonderful photos and updates throughout that made me so glad that our cat was in her capable hands. I could tell that she gave my cat such great attention, playing with her and engaging her when she was being shy. She sent great photos that showed how much my cat loved getting pets from her and it made me frel at ease to see that my cat was getting such love and care while I was away. Casey went above and beyond throughout the entire experience, including navigating a situation that arose with our pet incredibly skillfully, compassionately, and generously. I would choose Casey again in a heartbeat and recommend her in the highest - I would trust her deeply with the care of any animal of mine!”

“Sylvia was amazing! She spent real time with my three dogs and they loved her. They got to be in their own home and happily shared their toys with her. Plus, she even hung out with the cats who usually hide (and are indoor/outdoor). The pictures each day were great as well. Thank you so much!”

About: My whole life I've grown up with many dogs and I absolutely adore them!! I love walking them, playing with them, taking them out for car rides, etc. For a little over three years now I've been dogsitting and catsitting for my dad's friends. I've cared for cats previously, but I didn't have my very first cat until very recently, and I adore them as well! I'm more than willing to scoop litter, pick up after they potty, walk pets, and have a designated play time with them (: During the summer I work part time in the evenings and am not very busy outside of that, so I'm more than able to be with the pet during the day. At night, I usually work for about 5/6 hours, and am flexible enough to check on pets at night after work as well. In the fall when school starts, I will not be so available for check ins, but am able to spend nights with pets, and am flexible enough to do some dogwalking if necessary. When that time approaches, I will update my availability! Since cats don't usually require to be let outside, I'll be much more flexible with catsitting than dogsitting, but am still willing to do both! I usually work at my job 3-4 nights a week. In client's homes I make sure to spend a good amount of time with pets because I know they're missing their owners. I give them treats, pet them, cuddle with them, and walk them. Before I leave for anywhere I make sure that they have food, water, and they've used the potty, that way clients can be assured there will be no accidents in the home, and their pet is being properly cared for. Some cats prefer to spend time alone, and if that's the case, of course I have no problem leaving them be. As a pet owner myself, I can tell when sometimes the pets don't want to play and just wanna nap, or when they want to be left alone. Additionally, I make sure to take care of their house and clean up after myself! Beforehand, I'd love to meet with the client that way I can get to know everyone, and build some trust between me, the client, and the pet (:
“Gaby did an amazing job caring for Bobby while we were out of town! She sent some wonderful updates and pictures. We appreciate that Gaby played with Bobby and was engaged during her visits! Thank you, Gaby! We look forward to booking you again!”

“Elena is everything I hoped for in a pet sitter for my cat! Turtie absolutely loves her, possibly even more than she loves me, and I am always so relaxed when I’m away knowing that she’s in the loving care of Elena. I wish I could attach an image to my review because she has sent me some of the sweetest pictures of turtie cuddling with her during her check-ins. So glad I found her (:”

“Karlla was wonderful!! She helped us out last minute for cat sitting over Thanksgiving. Our cat, Falkor’s not super friendly but she loved Karlla and came up to her every time she came over. We really loved the photos too, they were so cute!! We felt really comfortable leaving our cat at home and would love to use Karlla again.”

“Candy was a great help on short notice when we had to go out of town for a funeral. She was great with our dog and we were comfortable everything was cared for during her drop in visits.”

“Once again Madison went above and beyond my expectations. My cat Zoey gets meds 3x a day and Madison was on point with it and made sure Zoey was well taken care of with her food and meds. Zoey usually gets depressed when we’re away but with Madison she’s very happy and comfortable. Thank you Madison, you’re truly amazing!”

“We had never used Rover before, but were told by others to schedule a meet & greet. From the moment my husband and I met Leigh, we knew she would do a great job taking care of our cat. We came home to a clean home and to a cat that was obviously well taken care of. We received daily updates through Rover as well as photos. Rover should be proud to have Leigh representing its company.”

Cat parents share their Rover experiences - Young Haven Circle
Riley was fantastic! We're new to using Rover, and were nervous at first, as we were booking for drop in visits while we needed to go out of town unexpectedly. I had a good feeling about Riley based on the other reviews. As soon as I connected with her, I knew she'd be a good fit. She even agreed to meet us before the first scheduled drop-in date, to go over the "routine"! Our cats are on a specific and detailed schedule for food and medications. Riley asked great questions, picked up the process immediately, and had great natural instincts. The cats instantly accepted her, even our super scaredy cat walked right up to her and welcome her!!! Honestly, that told me all I needed to know. Riley gave us the confidence and comfort we needed, so we could focus on our time away, knowing that our fur babies were in her very capable and caring hands! We communicated openly and she sent great pictures of play time. As others have said, Riley is kind, caring, attentive, experienced. I'll add that she's genuine, honest, detailed, patient, observant, intuitive, attentive, gentle, respectful, and punctual. She has been exactly who we needed, and we will 100000% book with her again and again.

This was a fairly straightforward job feeding and changing litter for my "scaredy cat" cat whom I knew was probably never going to come out to play or get pets from a stranger. Nonetheless, Celine was prompt and kind in our meet-and-greet and responsive to my texts while away. She followed all instructions, and I'd definitely hire her again.

Kelsie has become our go-to sitter anytime we’re out of town. Our cats absolutely adore her, and it’s clear she genuinely cares about them and their routines. She consistently goes above and beyond - not only making sure the cats are happy and well cared for, but also keeping the house in great shape while we’re away. It gives us so much peace of mind knowing they’re in such good hands. Honestly, it’s hard to imagine trusting anyone else with our cats at this point!

Sierra was very communicative and did a great job with all of the instructions we left her. My cats don’t get along very well and she did a good job managing them and making sure they were separated. She also did a great job with administering medicine to my cat that needed it daily. Overall, I am very pleased with the services provided and I would absolutely hire her again!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
