I’ve been taking care of dogs since I was a teenager, and recently cared for my own dog who passed away a couple years ago. He was blind and a senior, and I learned a lot about working with pets with special needs.

Safety, trust & environment
Historically, I have had both dogs and cats with special needs. I know how stressful it can be to trust your pet with a stranger, especially if your pet bites when scared, has a desire to run and hide, or any other idiosyncrasy. I’m very patient and take cues from animals before approaching them. Also, I trust that the owner knows their pet best and I’m happy to do exactly what is asked to ensure your pet’s safety.

Schedule
I’m currently in a full time grad school program online, and looking to fill my day out with more time with animals. I’m relatively new to Salt Lake City, and love to explore different neighborhoods by walking and caring for pets.
