I live in a pet friendly apartment complex in Sugarhouse where we have lots of areas for walks and outdoor fun. Trusting someone with your pet or in your home is never easy, but I would absolutely treat them as my own pets and keep them happy and safe. My work schedule is 4 days on, 3 days off so my availability will only be my days off when I can take care of your pet full time. Animals in my house or care are treated with utmost love. I have the time and availability now for round the clock care so happy to host them at my house or spend time at yours.

About: I am a junior at Utah State University majoring in Veterinary Science, and am living at home for the summer while doing an Animal Care Internship at the Humane Society of Utah. Growing up, I had my own pet care business where I would walk neighbors dogs and watch them while their owners were away. About: I love the dogs more then anything!! Taking my dog for a walk is one of my favorite things to do and I’m hoping to assist others that aren’t able to walk their dogs as much as they would like. I am super active and I love to go to the park. I live right across the street from sugarhouse park which is the perfect place to take dogs! I often watch my in-laws dogs and they get the royal treatment and don’t want to leave here! I can’t wait to meet some new pups! I currently only work three days a week so I have a lot of extra time on my hands and I also love to stay active. I’m always at the park with my dog or taking it on walks or playing with him. I am available to walk dogs Monday, Tuesday, Friday and Sunday all day or Wednesday, Thursday and Saturday in the mornings! I also have a dog stroller for older dogs that still want to have some fun and get out but can’t quite keep up! I am super cautious with dogs and keeping them safe and on leash at all times. I’ve learned some great training techniques as well with dogs. I always like to make them feel comfortable. I have a yorkie which is a high anxiety dog so I know how to deal with that very well. He also has pancreatitis so I know how important staying on a healthy diet is for all dogs! We also live right next to a park which is amazing for morning walks and a dog park that is great for those social dogs!

About: Animals have always been a huge part of my life. Long before joining Rover, I was trusted by friends, family, and neighbors when they needed a pet sitter or dog walker. I love getting to know each pet's personality and making sure they feel safe and loved. As someone with my own fur-babies, I know how it feels to be away from them! I understand that everyone and their pets are different! I work from home and have a flexible schedule, so I'm able to give pets plenty of care and attention throughout the day. About: My whole life I've grown up with many dogs and I absolutely adore them!! I love walking them, playing with them, taking them out for car rides, etc. For a little over three years now I've been dogsitting and catsitting for my dad's friends. I've cared for cats previously, but I didn't have my very first cat until very recently, and I adore them as well! I'm more than willing to scoop litter, pick up after they potty, walk pets, and have a designated play time with them (: During the summer I work part time in the evenings and am not very busy outside of that, so I'm more than able to be with the pet during the day. At night, I usually work for about 5/6 hours, and am flexible enough to check on pets at night after work as well. In the fall when school starts, I will not be so available for check ins, but am able to spend nights with pets, and am flexible enough to do some dogwalking if necessary. When that time approaches, I will update my availability! Since cats don't usually require to be let outside, I'll be much more flexible with catsitting than dogsitting, but am still willing to do both! I usually work at my job 3-4 nights a week. In client's homes I make sure to spend a good amount of time with pets because I know they're missing their owners. I give them treats, pet them, cuddle with them, and walk them. Before I leave for anywhere I make sure that they have food, water, and they've used the potty, that way clients can be assured there will be no accidents in the home, and their pet is being properly cared for. Some cats prefer to spend time alone, and if that's the case, of course I have no problem leaving them be. As a pet owner myself, I can tell when sometimes the pets don't want to play and just wanna nap, or when they want to be left alone. Additionally, I make sure to take care of their house and clean up after myself! Beforehand, I'd love to meet with the client that way I can get to know everyone, and build some trust between me, the client, and the pet (:
