About: Not accepting dog walking for the next few weeks due to weather/fire conditions. I have asthma and the smoky air isn’t good for me to be in for long. I have a few years experience looking after all kinds of dogs; from the elderly, to injured, to dogs needing specific diets or medication. I have also looked after cats and reptiles before! I teach special education kids Tues-Thurs from 9 AM until 12:00 PM during the summer, so during those times I am not available. In the case of dog sitting, just be aware that I won’t be at the home during those times. I will care for and treat your pets as if they were my own; with all of the love and routine that they need. I will follow any and all instructions you need for your pet; including walk schedules, dietary and medicinal needs, and sleep times.
“Madison was a fantastic sitter. She took excellent care of our three cats, was responsible, and communicated effectively. She even watered some plants for me, which I greatly appreciated. We would definitely work with her again.”

“My dogs had a great time with Tyson! Lots of pictures sent and thorough updates on my guys, while we were away for the weekend. I would highly recommend Tyson to another family for your pet sitting needs.”

About: I’ve taken care of dogs back to health, fostered dogs, and I have taught high schoolers how to take care of cats and dogs alike. I’m currently working as a teacher. Weekends are preferable if you want 24 hour attention, but I can do more simple things on the weekdays, like walks, and check ins through out the week after 5pm or on lunch breaks if close by! I live in an apartment, where there is a dog park and plenty of places to walk. I have no pets of my own, so I look forward to be around lots of fur babies

“Milo was super happy with Katherine, i will definitely book her to visit him on my next trip out of town! She was also super flexible with the key exchange, both dropping them off and picking them up, appreciate your help!!”

“Heather has been so fantastic and patient with my senior dog Bean. She’s responsive, provides detailed updates, and accommodates all his special needs. He gets tons of affection and a good walk when she is there, making me feel more comfortable while I’m away at work. Thank you for all you’re doing for my Bean boy!”

“Gaby did an amazing job caring for Bobby while we were out of town! She sent some wonderful updates and pictures. We appreciate that Gaby played with Bobby and was engaged during her visits! Thank you, Gaby! We look forward to booking you again!”

“Sylvia is fantastic! Very good with pets and completes wonderful drop-in cards. She also was kind enough to water my garden and that was a huge help. HIGHLY recommend her!”

“Jessica did an excellent job watching my two kittens. She paid close attention to my care instructions and made sure to send lots of pictures and detailed check ins. I'd definitely use her again.”
“Anna was great! It was a last minute request for a weekend and she came over quickly to have a meet & greet before we left. She uploaded photos of them playing and was even able to give her her daily pill. Very happy with Anna and her service. :)”
“Candy was a great help on short notice when we had to go out of town for a funeral. She was great with our dog and we were comfortable everything was cared for during her drop in visits.”

“Elena was amazing! Great communicator and followed all my (manyc) directions. Everything was great when I got back and my dog was nice and calm and well cared for. I also appreciated the thorough report cards. Highly recommend!”

“We had never used Rover before, but were told by others to schedule a meet & greet. From the moment my husband and I met Leigh, we knew she would do a great job taking care of our cat. We came home to a clean home and to a cat that was obviously well taken care of. We received daily updates through Rover as well as photos. Rover should be proud to have Leigh representing its company.”

About: My whole life I've grown up with many dogs and I absolutely adore them!! I love walking them, playing with them, taking them out for car rides, etc. For a little over three years now I've been dogsitting and catsitting for my dad's friends. I've cared for cats previously, but I didn't have my very first cat until very recently, and I adore them as well! I'm more than willing to scoop litter, pick up after they potty, walk pets, and have a designated play time with them (: During the summer I work part time in the evenings and am not very busy outside of that, so I'm more than able to be with the pet during the day. At night, I usually work for about 5/6 hours, and am flexible enough to check on pets at night after work as well. In the fall when school starts, I will not be so available for check ins, but am able to spend nights with pets, and am flexible enough to do some dogwalking if necessary. When that time approaches, I will update my availability! Since cats don't usually require to be let outside, I'll be much more flexible with catsitting than dogsitting, but am still willing to do both! I usually work at my job 3-4 nights a week. In client's homes I make sure to spend a good amount of time with pets because I know they're missing their owners. I give them treats, pet them, cuddle with them, and walk them. Before I leave for anywhere I make sure that they have food, water, and they've used the potty, that way clients can be assured there will be no accidents in the home, and their pet is being properly cared for. Some cats prefer to spend time alone, and if that's the case, of course I have no problem leaving them be. As a pet owner myself, I can tell when sometimes the pets don't want to play and just wanna nap, or when they want to be left alone. Additionally, I make sure to take care of their house and clean up after myself! Beforehand, I'd love to meet with the client that way I can get to know everyone, and build some trust between me, the client, and the pet (:

Cat parents share their Rover experiences - Zions Park
Riley was fantastic! We're new to using Rover, and were nervous at first, as we were booking for drop in visits while we needed to go out of town unexpectedly. I had a good feeling about Riley based on the other reviews. As soon as I connected with her, I knew she'd be a good fit. She even agreed to meet us before the first scheduled drop-in date, to go over the "routine"! Our cats are on a specific and detailed schedule for food and medications. Riley asked great questions, picked up the process immediately, and had great natural instincts. The cats instantly accepted her, even our super scaredy cat walked right up to her and welcome her!!! Honestly, that told me all I needed to know. Riley gave us the confidence and comfort we needed, so we could focus on our time away, knowing that our fur babies were in her very capable and caring hands! We communicated openly and she sent great pictures of play time. As others have said, Riley is kind, caring, attentive, experienced. I'll add that she's genuine, honest, detailed, patient, observant, intuitive, attentive, gentle, respectful, and punctual. She has been exactly who we needed, and we will 100000% book with her again and again.

Bridgette did amazing especially for having to book extremely last minute. She also did extra things like scooping the cat bin, cleaning their water, vacuuming, and putting on cat tv for them. She was incredibly kind and so good to my anxious kitties who definitely don’t like it when I go away.

Cat sitters on Rover care for your cats’ needs and can spend quality time with them, including activities like feeding, playing, and refreshing their water and litter boxes. Depending on your arrangement, you can schedule as many visits per day as your cat needs or find a sitter who can stay at your house overnight. Some sitters also board cats in their home.
House sitting can be ideal for cats who need socialization or care that lasts longer than a few hours. Your cat stays in their own home, on their own schedule, with care based on what you and your sitter agree on together.
Many pet parents provide a spare key or arrange a lockbox. You can also exchange keys during the Meet & Greet and show your walker how to use digital fobs or personalized codes. It helps to arrange access to your home, from spare keys to concierge introductions, before pet care begins.
If you live in an apartment or condo, don’t forget to discuss details like buzzer access, codes, or elevator etiquette. These details can help a pet sitter feel more comfortable going in and out of your building.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.

All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Yes, you can find sitters who have experience with handling special pet needs in Zions Park. On Rover:
- 92% of sitters can help with special care needs

You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
