First and foremost, I want to make sure your pet is physically and mentally safe. This means knowing what emergency vet to take them to in the case of emergency, monitoring their eating, and approaching them on their own terms. I’m happy to just be present in the home until your pet feels safe enough to greet me.

Please let me know if your cat has a special toy they love, any chin scratches or special pets they like, as well as anything they do NOT like (e.g., tummy scratches). Also please provide a vet or emergency vet that I can take them to in case of emergency and where your pet carrier is!
A typical day
I love spending time with animals! I will brush them, play with them with their favorite toy and give them lots of cuddles, pets, and love.

Pet care experience
Growing up, I had 4 cats and 1 dog (dachshund) at home, so I’m very used to furry friends. :) I also watched my friends’ cats for them during graduate school when they went away on trips! I take care of pets like I would want my own cat, Luna, to be loved and cared for. I adore playing with, petting, and loving animals!

Emma has watched my cat Basil many times over the past few years, and always goes above and beyond in caring for my fur baby! Basil is always happy to see her whenever she cat-sits, as she takes the time to give him lots of pets and cuddles, and play with his favorite toys. She is thorough and responsible when checking up on him, and sends me updates and photos each time. As a cat lover and cat mom herself, I know I can count on Emma to provide my pet with care and love.
Emma is seriously the nicest person I know. She is very responsible and I would be happy to have her take care of my pet. She has watched many of her friends cats and they have been very happy. She has her own kitty, Luna and takes wonderful care of her!
