About: I have grown up with big and small dogs and have always loved them. I make sure to be very attentive to any dog I am with, bringing them on lots of walks, and hanging with them. I am an online student with a flexible schedule. This allows me to be very attentive to your dog, lots of walks, lots of hanging nearby. I take great care of pets. I make sure they get the exercise they need, and the time spent just hanging out close by. I think most dogs love to be around people as much as they can, and I make that happen!

Eric is awesome. He admitted that he was newer to Rover but made up for it with extra effort and dedication. I appreciate the time that he took with my doggo and kept me updated on how things went. I highly recommend Eric and will continue to be a repeat customer of his for as long as he is available. Thank you Eric!

About: I love the dogs more then anything!! Taking my dog for a walk is one of my favorite things to do and I’m hoping to assist others that aren’t able to walk their dogs as much as they would like. I am super active and I love to go to the park. I live right across the street from sugarhouse park which is the perfect place to take dogs! I often watch my in-laws dogs and they get the royal treatment and don’t want to leave here! I can’t wait to meet some new pups! I currently only work three days a week so I have a lot of extra time on my hands and I also love to stay active. I’m always at the park with my dog or taking it on walks or playing with him. I am available to walk dogs Monday, Tuesday, Friday and Sunday all day or Wednesday, Thursday and Saturday in the mornings! I also have a dog stroller for older dogs that still want to have some fun and get out but can’t quite keep up! I am super cautious with dogs and keeping them safe and on leash at all times. I’ve learned some great training techniques as well with dogs. I always like to make them feel comfortable. I have a yorkie which is a high anxiety dog so I know how to deal with that very well. He also has pancreatitis so I know how important staying on a healthy diet is for all dogs! We also live right next to a park which is amazing for morning walks and a dog park that is great for those social dogs!

About: I am a junior at Utah State University majoring in Veterinary Science, and am living at home for the summer while doing an Animal Care Internship at the Humane Society of Utah. Growing up, I had my own pet care business where I would walk neighbors dogs and watch them while their owners were away. In addition, I also have a lot of experience volunteering at the Humane Society, and was even given the award for “Most Valuable Volunteer” in 2023. I’m currently doing a part time internship on weekdays from 7am to noon, but I have flexible hours on Saturdays and weekday afternoons. I live close to SugarHouse in Salt Lake City. Happy to travel, have a clean and reliable car. I am a very responsible and detailed oriented person and have been told I easily connect with people’s pets. I also had my own lawn care business growing up and am happy to help with watering plants or bringing in packages if I am caring for your pet while you are away.

Sylvia took exceptional care of Sherlock. She was very interested in how she could best meet his needs and, when I returned, gave me very good feedback on some items I had been working on with him (he pulls when on leash). Sherlock bonded with her very easily and I could tell he had had a wonderful time. I will call Sylvia again in the future!

About: Animals have always been a huge part of my life. Long before joining Rover, I was trusted by friends, family, and neighbors when they needed a pet sitter or dog walker. I love getting to know each pet's personality and making sure they feel safe and loved. As someone with my own fur-babies, I know how it feels to be away from them! I understand that everyone and their pets are different! I work from home and have a flexible schedule, so I'm able to give pets plenty of care and attention throughout the day. Whether that's walks, playtime, or just keeping them company, I'm happy to fit their routine into mine. Growing up in a cat-dog household, I have experience with both! I always prioritize keeping their routine as normal as possible by carefully following feeding schedules, walk routines, and any specific instructions provided by you. I am happy to keep owners updated with messages and cute/silly photos!

About: I have fed, spent time loving on, and walked my friends’ dogs while they were away from home for the past 8 years. I adopted my dog in 2014 - I have cared for him as well as our newfound doggie friends we’ve made along the way. I am happy to tend to belly rubs, treats, even the ol’ Bummy Tummy. I am a flight attendant for a mainline carrier. I typically am home 3-4 days per week. Most days I work weekends, so my schedule may be a good fit for those of you who work in a set 9-5 schedule. I am happy to follow and stick with your dog’s routine, including crating after playtime or walks. No detail is too small! Wiping paws after a walk or even praising with belly rubs or treats after a poo is what I already do with my pup!

About: I've been a dog owner for years and currently have two dogs of my own, so I understand how important it is to find someone you can trust with your pet. I'm experienced with daily walks, feeding schedules, crate training, and caring for dogs with a variety of personalities and energy levels. In addition to routine care, I have experience administering medications, including insulin injections, and I'm comfortable following detailed care instructions to ensure your pet stays healthy and safe. I also have experience with basic training and obedience, helping reinforce good manners, leash behavior, and consistency with commands. As an outdoor enthusiast who enjoys hiking, camping, and staying active, I love providing dogs with plenty of exercise, enrichment, and attention. Whether your pup prefers an adventure on the trail or a relaxing day with companionship and belly rubs, I'll treat them like one of my own and make sure they feel loved and cared for while you're away. Currently have a wide open schedule. Just moved to SLC (Sugarhouse) from Montana, and taking the first bit of time to explore more of the area. I have a partially fenced yard. I will be leashing ALL looked after dogs before exiting the home to ensure no one escapes. I have 2 dogs & cats of my own. All are friendly and welcoming. So for the safety of all our furry family, you're furr baby needs to be friendly with others if I am to board in my house.

About: Hey there! I am the mom of a 2 year old Silver Lab (Maddux) and 3 year old Dutch Shepherd (Hooch). Both my babies get along with other dogs great. I’ve grown up with multiple dogs so I’ve taken care of and been around dogs my entire life. I am surrounded by a wide variety of dog breeds on a daily basis because I work in an environment where I’m able to bring dogs to work. I am open to watching any breed or sized dog. I understand the concern of leaving your fur baby with someone you don’t know and would love to help. I am an active, loving, responsible individual who just really wants to watch your dog if you’ll let me :)

About: I’ve always loved animals! I’m not allowed to have my own while I’m renting but I enjoy playing and getting to know all that I get to meet! I am currently a pilot working on my hours! I get to make my own schedule doing that so I have plenty of time to add taking care of animals into the mix. Keeping the animals schedule consistent is how I like to keep them safe and also keeping a good eye on them since they are unfamiliar with me.

We are moving and will miss Bridgette so much! Our dog is scared of new people and she worked so hard and was patient enough to to gain his trust - now I can tell he loves when she visits and takes him on walks. I am so thankful for her care for Toby, from last minute schedule changes to checking in on him when he was post op from his TPLO, we always knew we could trust her with his care!

Whether you want a solo or group walk depends on your dog's personality. Solo walks can be beneficial for dog parents with reactive dogs, puppies, or dogs who are anxious around unfamiliar animals. Many dog walkers on Rover offer private, one-on-one walking services.

Group walks are a good fit for social dogs who enjoy structured walks. If your dog prefers the energy of a group stroll, ask your dog walker about group walks in your Zions Park. Since all dog walkers are local, they may have a neighborhood dog who is a good walking companion to yours.

For dog walking services, you can request a report card update with specifics about your dog’s walk. Report cards require photos and can include a map of the walking route , total walk time, poop and pee breaks, and distance traveled, so you know exactly where your dog has been walking in Zions Park.

Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .

Yes, you can find walkers who have experience with handling special pet needs in Zions Park. On Rover:

  • 94% of walkers can help with special care needs
  • 98% can help with giving oral medications or injections
  • 98% can help with daily exercise

You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.

If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
