“Eric is awesome. He admitted that he was newer to Rover but made up for it with extra effort and dedication. I appreciate the time that he took with my doggo and kept me updated on how things went. I highly recommend Eric and will continue to be a repeat customer of his for as long as he is available. Thank you Eric!”

“Angelina was extremely communicative and took great care of Val. She kept me posted on when she would be there, how it was going on their walk and play in the yard, and when she left. I absolutely recommend her!”

“Wonderful service from Sydney. She is reliable and trustworthy with my Scottish terrier, Walle, and he looks forward to their weekly walks now. I can’t recommend her enough if you’re looking for someone to care for your pet.”

About: Please only huskies, shepherds or big furry friends. I’m active, which fits these guys’ lifestyle. They get into trouble if they do not get enough physical and mental exercise. I do not yank their necks, I let them sniff and yonder, I will take them for walks, bike rides, or into the mountains. My best friend passed away almost 3 years ago. He will never be replaced, but I’m willing to watch other fur animals.ig ........ I’m running my own business, so when I work is up to me. Gym and walking/getting out are a form of my therapy and help me think. I do not crate dogs. I give them enough attention and exercise so they aren’t menaces and do bad things. Tall fenced in backyard.
About: I have had dogs my entire life and currently own both a Husky with a seizure disorder and a senior Malamute with arthritis. Caring for special needs and senior dogs has given me hands-on experience with medications, mobility support, routines, and recognizing behavioral changes quickly. I have also personally trained my own dogs and am comfortable working with high-energy breeds, strong personalities, and dogs that need extra patience and structure. I am currently a full-time student and work from home doing freelance projects, which gives me a flexible schedule and plenty of time for walks, playtime, and attention. I am available for drop-ins and dog walks throughout the week, overnight boarding in my home (I do have two large breed dogs but they get along with others), and outings to local parks or dog parks like Tanner Park for socialization and exercise. Safety and comfort are always my top priorities. I take time to learn each dog’s routine, personality, triggers, and energy level so I can provide consistent care with as little stress as possible. In my home, dogs are supervised, exercised appropriately, and given a calm environment with plenty of attention, play, and structure. I also have a fully fenced yard with a dog door so dogs have safe access to outdoor time and potty breaks throughout the day. I am experienced with medications, mobility support, and monitoring behavioral changes due to caring for both a special needs Husky and a senior Malamute.
“Bridgette is communicative and thorough in her work as a pet sitter. I would definitely recommend working with Bridgette. She went above and beyond in the care she gave to my pets. Bridget spent extra time playing with my cats, walking my dog, and making sure they all had clean water and full food bowls. She also gave me detailed updates every time she visited my pets with photos and descriptions of how the pets were doing.”
“Christian is amazing! He was very reliable and took our dog on great walks. He was communicative and I wouldn’t hesitate to book with him again. Our pup definitely has a new friend!”

“Sadie always has a great time with Sheila! Since I'm gone 12 hours a day, it feels good knowing that I can depend on Sheila to help take care of my dog. She was very thorough and asked good questions during our first meeting, and lets me know far in advance if she's going to be out of town.”

“Adam does such a great job walking our three dogs. We have used him a few times and he is a great communicator and always on time even a little early to get started. Our dogs come back tired and happy. We will keep using him. We love how professional he is. You can tell he is very comfortable with the multiple dogs at once.”

About: Whether shy or excitable, I'm a calming presence that most pets I've met are drawn to. I have 7+ years dog walking and house sitting experience, with all ages and types ranging from puppies still learning to seniors who need extra care. I have experience with basic training and administering medicine. You can rely on me for consistent walks and drop ins, and for tidy, respectful house sits. This is my full time job, so I'm available often and my schedule is flexible. I'll have plenty of time to dedicate to your pup or kitty, the longest I'm away for other appointments is typically up to 4-6 hours. About: What sets me apart is my ability to balance high-energy adventure with attentive comfort within your pet’s own home. As an active outdoor enthusiast, I provide a variety of outings tailored to your dog, ranging from neighborhood excursions to vigorous trail runs right from your front door. Beyond these activities, I am a committed companion for animals who require a gentler pace. I have extensive experience managing the unique health needs of senior animals and truly enjoy spending quality time with cats in their own home. By offering professional, one-on-one care where your pets feel most secure, I ensure they remain happy and engaged while you are away. Pet care is currently my primary focus as I am taking a career break and working only part-time. This transition allows me to offer a high level of flexibility and dedicated time to your animals. Because I own an adventure RV, I am uniquely equipped to provide extended in-home care. This mobile setup allows me to stay nearby or easily relocate to your home, ensuring I am available for frequent walks, trail runs, or quality companionship throughout the day and night. My schedule is designed to revolve around the needs and routines of your pets, providing them with consistent and reliable care. I prioritize the safety and security of your home and your pets through a disciplined and attentive approach. When providing in-home care, I maintain a clean and organized environment, ensuring all doors and gates remain securely locked at all times. For dogs, I conduct a thorough assessment of their harness and leash before any outing to ensure a secure fit for neighborhood walks or trail runs. During outdoor adventures, I stay highly alert to our surroundings and always keep pets on a lead unless we are in a securely fenced area. For senior animals and cats, I monitor their comfort levels and health closely, strictly following all provided care instructions and medication schedules. My goal is to maintain the integrity of your home while ensuring your pets remain safe and content in their familiar surroundings.
South Salt Lake dog parents share their Rover experiences
Thanks Marissa for walking my favourite son, Logan. I really appreciate the quick responses during a chaotic time for us (having just moved from another country). Logan is an anxious dog, sometimes not ok w other dogs and judging by the feedback and photos Marissa sent, she’s managed to help him make new furry friends already!! Thank you so much.

Kristen was amazingly patient with Hero. Having a vet tech background and experience with so many different animals made me feel completely at ease leaving our senior boy with her. She followed all of our specific walking routines perfectly, and as a wonderful bonus, she took the most beautiful photos of Hero! Highly recommend her!

Myla Rose has done many walks as well as house sitting for us and has been an absolute pleasure to work with! Our dog can take awhile to warm up and they have definitely earned his trust. We can tell he enjoys their time together. During the most recent house sitting, our dog had been sick and we had to cancel his daycare stay, but thankfully Myla was available for a last minute dog sitting and despite our dog needing some closer monitoring than usual we felt completely at ease leaving him in their care.

Elena was great!! She took such good care of our pups, taking them on long walks (even in the rain) and sent many cute photos that were better than the ones we have even been able to take! We were relieved knowing that Elena was coming over to feed and check on the pups after having been gone for a long day because we knew she would take great care of them and the pups love her.

Sarah has been walking our pups for the past two weeks, and they’ve already fallen in love with her. She’s punctual and ensures they get their walks, treats, and belly rubs. I had a hard time finding someone I could trust to take care of them, but I’ve found my perfect match in Sarah.
