I recently left my General Manager position due to burn out and would really love to work with dogs all day. My current dogs, two vizslas ages 2 and 4, are my world. If you are in need of play dates, I'm willing to bring both or one of them along to play with your dog! I am seeking hours during the day, however, could be flexible in the evenings as well

I have a large, fenced yard for my two vizslas. We spend hours playing ball each day. I often take them to the dog park to swim and hunt balls as well. I would feel comfortable letting your dog in and out of a crate if necessary, walking, taking to the park if you were comfortable with that, playing with them, bathing, brushing, administering medication, cleaning up potty mistakes in your home, or even teaching tricks or basic obedience.

Please let me know a little about your dog's personality and any fun quirks they have so that I can accommodate accordingly. I would love to have a meet and greet with you and your dog prior to my visit so that I will be better prepared to take the best care of your fur baby and ensure a less stressful time for them!
A typical day
If your pup likes to run, I'm happy to go to any of the dog parks. My favorite is Tanner. I would love to go for walks and play fetch in your yard as well.

I've taken care of dogs since i was a small child. I specialize in high energy breeds, having raised two jack russell terriers and two vizslas in my adult life. I grew up with boxers and a rottweiler. I love all dogs, big and small, old and young. One of my jack russells lived until he was almost 17, blind and deaf, and therefore, I am comfortable with elderly special needs. I am also comfortable with puppies having raised two very high energy dogs in the last three years.

Melanie is very professional and great with the dogs. She is also uses dog training tools to help correct some bad habits. She sent cute pics and was informative with her detail of the walks.

Melanie was awesome for daily recurring dog walks while I was at work. My dog was noticeably calmer and less stressed when I got home. I also received updates from her which was really nice, and she was always right on time! I would highly recommend Melanie.
Melanie is a rock solid and star dog care giver. While we were away, Melanie took care of our dog twice a day for an hour each visit. She walked him, made sure he had water, fed him, brought in the mail, took care of the lights and then before she left, she threw any of the latex squeak toys that Ziggy wanted her to toss. All of this and the twice daiiy photos made us feel comfortable and confident that our boy was well cared for. We were so appreciative, we are booking Melanie again already to look after Ziggy while we are away this summer. Thank you Melanie!
