“Justine did great with Jack! I was nervous about leaving him for a week since it was my first time away from him, but Justine was communicative, sent daily updates and took great care of Jack. He had so much fun playing with her dogs :)”

“Alvaro was the best sitter!!! I have been looking for an excellent sitter and I’m so glad I chose Alvaro. He sent me pic updates and took such great care of my boy, I will definitely call upon him for future pet sitting!!!”

“Matti was wonderful with my two fur babies. Sent updates and pictures every day. As a lover of my babies and had the common worry of thinking my babies were thinking I abandoned them I really appreciate her reassurance towards me! I will definitely book again! Thank you Matti”

“Amber was amazing! This was our first time using Rover, she was super responsive and helpful with all our first timer questions. She was flexible with drop off and pick up times. We got pictures and updates throughout our trip, and it was obvious that our dog was having the time of her life. Thank you Amber! Hope to book with you again soon.”

“Beth was wonderful! Constant updates and videos of my boys! Very accommodating and responded ASAP! When I picked the boys up, they seemed super happy and content. 10 out of 10, would have her watch them again!”

“Kerri is great! We have asked her to dog sit our pup multiple times now and she is always very responsive and reliable. Our pup is an older dog and requires a little more attention, but Kerri makes us feel at ease by updating us regularly on how she's doing. We trust that our pup is in good hands when we drop her off at Kerri's!”

“Hannah was AMAZING!!!! She was so good with our dog and sent so many cute updates!! And her dog is the sweetest :) Yoshi was very well taken care of!!! 10/10 would recommend her and would love to book with her again”

“Jacob was awesome with our dog, Charlie. He took him hiking, sent great photos and videos, and made him feel completely at home. When I came to pick him up, Charlie wasn’t in any rush to leave, which says a lot. It’s a relief knowing he’s in great hands. We’ll absolutely book with Jacob again!”

“This was the first time I ever left my pup with someone and Tea exceeded expectations!! She sent me pictures and videos of my pup to ease my mind while away from him. She tired him out and even bathed him before I came to pick him up!! I will definitely use Tea again. She’s amazing!!!”

“Josie loves them so much and so do we! We needed to get her nails clipped but didn’t have the time to do it before our trip. But! They took care of it for us! She got a little paw spa treatment from them and looks great! 🥰”

“Delicia has been amazing both times I booked with her. She followed all instructions perfectly and sent many photos and videos while watching our sweet boy Comet. I could tell how happy and comfortable he was in her care. I couldn’t be happier with her service and will continue to book with her for future trips.”

“Casey was great, good contact and easy to sort logistics out with. I like the fact that she wants to do premeets of dogs to make sure they get along with hers. Would hate to have to worry about that while I'm gone. They got along great and Charlie got plenty of walks and made some new friends. Would definitely recommend Casey.”

About: I live an active lifestyle and love nothing more than a pet buddy to join walks and hikes. I had been a dog aunt for over 10 years and often am the “go to” pet sitter amongst friends and family as they know I am reliable, responsible and a true lover of pets! I’d love to meet your fur babies and give them all the love and cuddles! I work a full time job during the week which makes me mainly available on weekends for walks, visits, home stays or boarding, with the exception of a weekday afternoon walk if in a close vicinity. Note: My roommate has 2 female healers, both friendly with other dogs. Throughout the summer, they will be in and out of town, so I try to schedule boarding times for when they are gone to make things easier. On the off chance that they are in town when you’ve requested a boarding we can discuss if we feel it’s a good fit. Thank you! I believe pets need enrichment and attention to feel loved, just like us humans! I love giving pets, cuddles and making sure they get their daily exercise. When I am watching a pet for an extended period of time, they come first!
“Spencer and his wife were amazing dog sitters during the Christmas holiday! I was so grateful to find someone who could care for my dog, Koda, during such a busy time. Spencer kept me updated with pictures and messages about how Koda was doing, which gave me peace of mind. At one point, Koda ran out of food, and Spencer immediately reached out to ask what kind Koda eats so he could go buy it. He was incredibly thoughtful and took excellent care of my dog. On the last day, our flight got delayed, and Spencer didn’t hesitate to watch Koda until we got back in town. It was such a pleasant experience having Spencer and his wife as Koda’s sitters. I’ll definitely be contacting them again for future needs. They went above and beyond!”

“Sammie was amazing! I had a last minute work trip planned and she was very accommodating, she took Zion my husky right in! She gave me pics and updates everyday and I could tell my dog was in great hands. I’ll definitely be using her for future services!”

“Our dog had a great time playing with them over the weekend! We got frequent update texts and pictures so we never had to worry about how she was doing.”

Kate was awesome! Our dog couldn't have been happier, she took such great care of him!! She was super accommodating to his particular needs and gave us daily updates. Kate is responsible, friendly, and genuinely terrific all around. 10 out of 10, will definitely book with again!

Naomi was incredible! I came from out of state (live in a van) and left my 2 cats with her! I immediately felt comfortable and knew the cats would be in good hands when we left. She is extremely accommodating & understanding of my needs. Got updated pictures throughout the stay too!

Cooper always love seeing Kyle! We’ve used him multiple times when we go out of town. When I drop Cooper off he’s always excited to see him, we get lots of updates and is exhausted when he comes home. We’ve been a repeat customer since Cooper was a pup. Definitely recommend! :)

Tsokyi was just the most wonderful sitter! She was so attentive to our dog's unique needs and interests. We loved seeing the pictures and updates each day. Additionally, Tsokyi's home is just perfect. What an amazing back yard, just perfect for a doggo who loves to play outside. We cannot say enough about what an amazing experience it was to work together. I would recommend Tsokyi to anyone!

Carly was amazing!! My dog can be anxious and she was patient with him and understanding! She sent super cute photos and updates throughout the entire stay too!! Highly recommend using Carly for any dog stays you may need - she is super sweet, has a super clean open house, and a nice yard for your dog to frolic and play in!! Thanks again Carly!!

Hilary & Marcelo were absolutely amazing! My golden retriever puppy is a handful, to say the least. They made sure he was properly loved & exercised with their awesome doggo Rio! These two are friends for life now, I’m sure of it! They have a fully fenced backyard for the pups to play in and brought him to the park to play as well. Just what a 1 year old golden needs! I had zero stress knowing my Sunny was in great hands. Wouldn’t hesitate at all to use them again- pretty sure Sunny is trying to plan my next trip for me already 😂

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in UT ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies. Cats may be required to have Feline Viral Rhinotracheitis and Rabies up to date.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Emergency support is available by phone or email in English 24/7. When an incident occurs, we recommend that sitters contact our Trust & Safety team immediately so that they can connect your sitter with a board-certified veterinarian or offer other resources to help.
If a sitter needs to cancel at the last minute, Rover’s reservation protection means our team will work with you to find a suitable replacement as quickly as possible.
