Safety, trust & environment

I have experience with reactive dogs and rescue dogs with trauma. My dog had been given up for times before I adopted him and became his forever home. I know how to respect their space and boundaries and allow them to come to me. IF that isn't an issue at all then I will take all the cuddles I can get LOL. Dogs are allowed on all the furniture at my place, they will always be cozy and comfortable. My apartment is very quite and clean and spacious. It is already dog proofed :) I also have lots of experience with dogs giving dogs medication so that won't be an issue!

Information Courtney N. would like to know about your pet

I will take all the info you want to share!! Reactivity, touch preferences, quirks, how they communicate nonverbally like what are their common cues if they have any! No amount of info is too much!!

A typical day

I take them for a walk and make sure they have lots of comfortable spots to lounge with blankets and pillows when we return home. I make sure their temperature is comfortable for them to cool off after the walk. I won't walk any dog if the temp is over 85 when sunny or over 90 when overcast. I typically drive the dogs I walk to the avenues or Yale/Harvard neighborhoods for our walks because those have the most shade. At home we will relax and play with toys. I make sure their food and water is super accesible and comfortable for whatever height they are. I have a beautiful grassy area right outside my door where I will take them for leashed potty breaks frequently. I promise they will enjoy their stay :)

Pet care experience

My perfect companion dog passed a couple years ago after a full great life together and I have been fostering and dog sitting ever since because animals bring so much joy and healing. I have fostered several dogs but also am available for day-visits, potty-breaks, boarding, and walks. I am always happy to accommodate a meet and greet :)

We have booked Courtney now multiples times and cannot say enough about how great she is. She is responsive, helpful, and always willing to go the extra step to make our dog comfortable and cared for. We know our dog is so well taken care of and loved when we leave her!

My pups, Sammy and Sadie, felt right at home when we got to Courtney's place. She was very attentive to their needs, as they are both dog reactive. Throughout their stay, she consistently updated me with pictures, and put me right at ease, since this was my first time leaving them with a dog sitter. I came away from the experience very happy, and would definitely use Courtney again!

Courtney is the best. She spent 6 days with our dog and we could tell she was in the best hands- she got walks and snuggles and it felt like Courtney treated her as if she were her own. We also got regular updates and great communication. We are so grateful for her and will definitely have Maisy stay with her again!
