“Lisa has been taking care of my Milo on an ongoing basis because of my firefighter schedule and Milo gets so excited every time he is on his way. I’ve never felt so in peace while my boy is under someone’s else supervision. I highly trust Lisa and Jake.”

“Georgia always has a wonderful time with Sarah, her husband and Wadi. She is so comfortable that it makes leaving her much less stressful. She comes back happy and tired, like you should after a great vacation.”

“Megan took such good care of Morty! 😊 She sent pictures everyday, took him on hikes, and multiple dog adventures with her two pugs. They kept him busy! She followed his special diet and medication regimen and kept me up to date on his health. She treated Morty like one of her own! Overall, she made sure that Morty had a merry Christmas 🎄and made leaving him less stressful for me. Megan is great and Morty loved her. She’s an amazing sitter for your pup.”

“🐾 🐾 So happy with Elizabeth and her wonderful family! They took amazing care of our dog, Banksy, while we were on vacation. From the moment we dropped him off, we knew he was in great hands. Elizabeth kept us updated throughout our trip with sweet messages and photos, which gave us complete peace of mind. Banksy looked so happy and relaxed—we could tell he was treated like one of their own. Their home is warm, welcoming, and clearly pet-friendly. We’re incredibly grateful for their kindness and care, and we’d definitely contact them again in the future. Highly recommended! 🐾🐾”

“Marylynn was super nice and took great care of our dog! She sent frequent pics and videos of walking her and taking her to the park, which we appreciated. Definitely recommend as a dog sitter.”

“Ashley was incredibly communicative, patient, and kind kind to my pup, Sugar. She took sugar out often and I could tell from the videos sent to me, she was having a blast! I’ll definitely be booking with Ashley again!”

“Leslie and Tim did an amazing job caring for Stella. We were immediately at ease seeing how affectionate and observant they were towards her. Stella is an elder dog with daily medicine and a fear of other dogs, and Leslie made sure she got her medicine, plenty of exercise while steering clear of other dogs, and lots of cuddles and time napping under blankets (her favorite). Leslie sent sweet photos every day, and it was clear that Stella absolutely loved staying with her and Tim. We are excited to bring Stella back for future boarding.”

“Shana was amazing! I have a challenging dog and she warmed up to Shana so fast because she has such a good energy and awareness with dogs. She sent pictures and kept me updated. This was the first time I ever used Rover and I was so nervous but I knew my dog was in good hands with her. I would definitely use Shana again.”

“Hilary & Marcelo were absolutely amazing! My golden retriever puppy is a handful, to say the least. They made sure he was properly loved & exercised with their awesome doggo Rio! These two are friends for life now, I’m sure of it! They have a fully fenced backyard for the pups to play in and brought him to the park to play as well. Just what a 1 year old golden needs! I had zero stress knowing my Sunny was in great hands. Wouldn’t hesitate at all to use them again- pretty sure Sunny is trying to plan my next trip for me already 😂”

“Vanessa was fantastic! So easy to book with and communicate with throughout the process. She kept me well updated and my very shy dog seemed comfortable. Vanessa was very flexible as well when I had to deal with some flight delays.”

“These two are amazing! Made sure I had all the happy updates of my pup throughout the days! Raven seemed so happy and they treated her like their own! Will def be booking with them again:)”

“I am very happy with Elizabeth, she has been very responsible and careful with Benji. She informed me all the time how Benji was feeling. I hope to continue leaving Benji with her when I need her services. Thank you very much Elizabeth.”

About: Hi, neighbors and friends! I’m a millennial pug mom who loves dogs. I have raised pugs since I was 3 years old. I come from a family of dog breeders, adopters, fosters, and truly love pets as family. I am offering to love on your dog as much as I love my two pugs. I am available for drops ins visits in the morning time frames from 6-8:00 AM and evenings 6-8:00PM. I have open availability on the weekends and I am flexible! I also take dog clients to the dog park while you are at work or out of town. Coming soon: overnight boarding! Do you also need a ride to or from the airport? You are already planning a lot, I’m happy to provide ride services since I don’t live far! My mission is to help dogs feel safe with someone at home or your home if you need to leave town. I'm currently available to walk your dog in the mornings and evenings, as well as take them to the dog park for a play date. My dogs keep a routine so let us know if your dog also has a special routine so we can accommodate! I'm also happy to sit with them so they don't feel alone if you are out of town. I can visit your pet and make sure they are fed and have water, play with them, let them out and take them for a walk to the dog park if you like.

Cari took such great care of George! She was very attentive and sent lots of pictures and updates throughout his stay, which I really appreciated. I felt completely comfortable knowing he was in good hands. George seemed so happy and well cared for. I would definitely book with her again! 😊

Tracey did a fantastic job taking care of my dog, Penny. We were in a new city for a soccer tournament and needed someone to watch Penny for a day while we did some family things that she couldn't accompany us on. Being unfamiliar with the area is stressful enough, so it was such a relief to find someone willing to be flexible with time frames and open to working with a fairly fluid plan. Tracey was easy going and great with communication, and on top of that, I picked up a very happy dog. I highly recommend Tracey and I am pretty sure that Penny would agree! : )

Kellie and Keri are just great! They were flexible with my short notice at first, and now Milo is every week staying with them while I’m at work. Milo is always happy when I pick him up, and can tell he’s got to play and to be loved. I appreciate them both so much, and have peace of mind to have my boy at their place. Thank you!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in UT ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies. Cats may be required to have Feline Viral Rhinotracheitis and Rabies up to date.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Emergency support is available by phone or email in English 24/7. When an incident occurs, we recommend that sitters contact our Trust & Safety team immediately so that they can connect your sitter with a board-certified veterinarian or offer other resources to help.
If a sitter needs to cancel at the last minute, Rover’s reservation protection means our team will work with you to find a suitable replacement as quickly as possible.
