“Shana was amazing! I have a challenging dog and she warmed up to Shana so fast because she has such a good energy and awareness with dogs. She sent pictures and kept me updated. This was the first time I ever used Rover and I was so nervous but I knew my dog was in good hands with her. I would definitely use Shana again.”

“Jacob was awesome with our dog, Charlie. He took him hiking, sent great photos and videos, and made him feel completely at home. When I came to pick him up, Charlie wasn’t in any rush to leave, which says a lot. It’s a relief knowing he’s in great hands. We’ll absolutely book with Jacob again!”

“Hannah took great care of boy and sent us photos and updates every day. We could tell he was having so much fun playing with her puppy Franklin and he was in good hands. We would totally book her again!”

“Alex and Alesia were awesome! They were super accommodating and flexible and took great care of my pup. My dog got to go on hikes, walks to the park, and have plenty of playtime in between. Thanks to them we have a happy (and tired) dog!”

“Lisa was great. She gave us regular updates and photos. Our dog seemed happy, loved and well cared for. We weren't sure if she wanted to come home with us or stay with Lisa and the other dogs friends. Thanks for taking such good care of our baby!”

“Wow our little guy had the BEST TIME with Leslie and Tim. We already have him booked again with them! Super responsive and sent me pictures which helped my dog mama heart feel at ease while we were away. They are awesome!!!!”

“Kerri watched Auggie over a long weekend and it was phenomenal! She sent frequent picture updates and assisted us with an unexpected travel issue. Kerri and her dog, Beth, are great! We definitely hope they can care for Auggie next time we are out of town!”

“Kristin was excellent. She was responsive, flexible, and Gus came home happy. She cared for him as if he was her pup. If she will have Gus back again, we most definitely will book her again. Her pup was super sweet and a perfect playmate.”

“Our pup seemed happy as could be when we picked her up. Jean and Sam were quick to respond on a short notice request and made everything very easy for us. Thank you!”

“Casey was great, good contact and easy to sort logistics out with. I like the fact that she wants to do premeets of dogs to make sure they get along with hers. Would hate to have to worry about that while I'm gone. They got along great and Charlie got plenty of walks and made some new friends. Would definitely recommend Casey.”

“Jocelyn was such a great sitter for my sweet Potato!!!! She sent plenty of updates and potato was super energetic and happy when she came home. She was super kind and also very flexible scheduling last minute with me. I appreciate her!”

About: Since I was a baby I had a white Lab named Cooper. Best friends have always had dogs. 3 years ago me and my mom took care of two little Labradors. I don’t currently have them anymore due to health reasons my mom was facing but would love to spend as most time as possible with animals, especially dogs. I house sitted three dogs for a week, enjoyed every minute with it. Sprinting in a field with a dog is one of the most freeing experiences everyone needs to live. I am currently unemployed trying to find work before a trip in early July, Able to help anytime during the week, nite, etc. I have a very flexible schedule I can adjust so I’m able to spend lots of time with your pet. I mainly go to the gym, and go out with friends at nighttime. I’ll show your dog around 9th and 9th. Open to driving anywhere. Would love to take your dog on a hike! Will take your dog paddleboarding, the dog park, stores.
About: As a lifelong dog lover, I understand how important it is to find someone you trust when you’re away. My goal is to provide a safe, comfortable, and low-stress environment where your dog can feel right at home. Whether your pup enjoys relaxing on the couch, playing in the yard, going for walks, or simply being around people, they’ll receive plenty of attention, affection, and care throughout their stay. I work from home and am experienced with dogs of all ages and sizes. I have a fully fenced yard as well for them to lounge in to their heart’s content. I have one older dog who absolutely loves having another dog around. I work from home full time so I am home during the day. I work until 2pm so I have lots of time in the afternoons for walking dogs, or playing with puppies My dogs are part of my family but I’m happy to provide the kind of care that your dog is accustomed to and so that they are comfortable and at ease. I only take one client at a time to keep it nice and relaxed.

“Meredith is the absolute best and takes great care of my dog. Her home is our pup’s “home away from home” whenever I travel and she treats him so well. Without hesitation, I highly recommend Meredith.”

“Our dog Bubbles was sooo very happy from the moment we arrived at her house for the initial interview. Jodi and her family were so loving, kind and kept our bubbles with the best ever company and love. I will be back again and again. Thank you Jodi!”

“Cari is awesome and I know my little guy was well taken care of and a happy camper while he stayed with her. I'll certainly use her again and highly recommend to anyone with a little buddy who needs care.”

“Hilary & Marcelo were absolutely amazing! My golden retriever puppy is a handful, to say the least. They made sure he was properly loved & exercised with their awesome doggo Rio! These two are friends for life now, I’m sure of it! They have a fully fenced backyard for the pups to play in and brought him to the park to play as well. Just what a 1 year old golden needs! I had zero stress knowing my Sunny was in great hands. Wouldn’t hesitate at all to use them again- pretty sure Sunny is trying to plan my next trip for me already 😂”

About: I’ve had and taken care of dogs longer than I can remember, with my childhood dog being a black lab named Rosebud. I’ve dealt with dogs ranging in all shapes and sizes. With the smallest being a Pomeranian and the biggest being a Saint Bernard. I’ve worked with energetic and lazy dogs, understanding the different care needs they might have. I have the basic knowledge on grooming and bathing. I’ve also worked with litter puppies and training puppies. I also understand the care and needs senior dogs may need as well. I currently have a dog named Kuma who I care for everyday as well. I work a normal 8 hour job during the week days. I am available for boarding for any day of the week as long as your dog is okay with other dogs. I always able todo same day bookings weather is walking or just drop ins. I am very flexible and spend most time chilling at home or going to the park with my current dog. I’m located next to many dog parks if that is what your dog needs. I also love walking and am an exercise guru, I’m always ready for a long walk if that’s what your pup prefers. I live by the moto “protecting pups, one paw at a time”. I understand that these animals are family and I strive to ensure their safety and proper care.

Shana was amazing! I have a challenging dog and she warmed up to Shana so fast because she has such a good energy and awareness with dogs. She sent pictures and kept me updated. This was the first time I ever used Rover and I was so nervous but I knew my dog was in good hands with her. I would definitely use Shana again.

Kate was awesome! Our dog couldn't have been happier, she took such great care of him!! She was super accommodating to his particular needs and gave us daily updates. Kate is responsible, friendly, and genuinely terrific all around. 10 out of 10, will definitely book with again!

Naomi was incredible! I came from out of state (live in a van) and left my 2 cats with her! I immediately felt comfortable and knew the cats would be in good hands when we left. She is extremely accommodating & understanding of my needs. Got updated pictures throughout the stay too!

I had a lot of anxiety leaving my little guy as he usually stays with family and this was our longest stretch apart since adopting him last spring. Immediately, Kristine made me feel at ease with her quick connection with my dog Clementine, scooping him up and becoming fast friends before Clem or I could get to worked up about each others nervous energy. She provided great updates and pictures throughout my trip that are so valued and helpful. He seemed very happy and comfortable there and I knew he was in very safe hands. Would highly reccomend Kristine for lil dog pet boarding.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in UT ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies. Cats may be required to have Feline Viral Rhinotracheitis and Rabies up to date.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Emergency support is available by phone or email in English 24/7. When an incident occurs, we recommend that sitters contact our Trust & Safety team immediately so that they can connect your sitter with a board-certified veterinarian or offer other resources to help.
If a sitter needs to cancel at the last minute, Rover’s reservation protection means our team will work with you to find a suitable replacement as quickly as possible.
