“Alex and Alesia were awesome! They were super accommodating and flexible and took great care of my pup. My dog got to go on hikes, walks to the park, and have plenty of playtime in between. Thanks to them we have a happy (and tired) dog!”

“Shana did an absolutely amazing job with our extremely nervous and scared pup who does not trust many people. Shana was extremely patient and truly understood Nola’s personality and what she needed in order for her to become comfortable. Nola did not want to leave a the end which we’ve never seen before! Shana is a true professional and we will be booking again! So thankful for her care for our fur baby.”

“Having Holly’s care for our dog was exactly the peace of mind we hoped would allow us to enjoy our week away! Thank you for the excellent care, wonderful communication and great images letting us see her adventures and relaxation with you each day.”

About: Hi! I’m Deena, a devoted pet lover who understands how important it is to find someone you trust with your furry family members. I provide a safe, loving home where your pet will receive plenty of attention, playtime, cuddles, and regular photo updates while you’re away. I believe boarding should feel like a sleepover, not a kennel. My goal is for every dog to feel safe, comfortable, and treated like part of the family. Whether your dog loves walks, backyard playtime, or simply relaxing indoors, I’ll make sure they feel happy, secure, and right at home. • I’m available for boarding seven days a week. • I’m self-employed, so I’m home most of the day and typically only out for a few hours at a time. • As an empty nester, my home is quiet with no young children, allowing me to provide plenty of attention and supervision for your pet. • I have a fully fenced yard with a doggy door and share my home with my two friendly resident dogs, Jasper (Pomchi) and Buster (young Corgi), along with my cat, GG. • Both of my dogs are friendly and well-socialized, and GG generally prefers to keep to himself. • I carefully supervise introductions and can keep pets separated using gates and crates if needed, so every pet feels comfortable and safe. • I only accept one family’s dog(s) at a time. This allows me to provide individualized attention, a calm environment, and a less stressful experience for every guest. • Every guest receives one-on-one attention, plenty of affection, regular playtime, and photo updates so you can enjoy your time away knowing your pet is happy and comfortable.

“Megan took such good care of Morty! 😊 She sent pictures everyday, took him on hikes, and multiple dog adventures with her two pugs. They kept him busy! She followed his special diet and medication regimen and kept me up to date on his health. She treated Morty like one of her own! Overall, she made sure that Morty had a merry Christmas 🎄and made leaving him less stressful for me. Megan is great and Morty loved her. She’s an amazing sitter for your pup.”

“Jordan came through for me when my sitter had to cancel on me at the last minute. My dog was well taken care of and seemed very happy when I came to pick her up. 10 out of 10 would recommend!!”

“Absolutely one of the best boarding experiences we have had thus far on Rover! Meredith and her family took amazing care of our French Bulldog while we were on vacation for a week. We received pictures each day we were gone and when we were late getting off the lake Meredith was incredible as she worked with us on a later pick up than we had originally anticipated. Communication was immediate. Home was clean and inviting. Hazy and Jack, Meredith's dogs, were well behaved and became best friends with our DeeDee. We will definitely be boarding our furry family member with Meredith in the future!”

“Josh did a great job with our dog Milo. He sent updates and was very easy to communicate with. Milo came home healthy, tired and happy. We will definitely be using Josh again!”

“Thank you, Leslie & Tim for taking such great care of Finn & Ivy. We would look forward to all of the pictures each day and to see how comfortable they are with you. It gives us room to enjoy our time away knowing that they are in such great hands. Thanks again for everything!!”

“Hilary & Marcelo were absolutely amazing! My golden retriever puppy is a handful, to say the least. They made sure he was properly loved & exercised with their awesome doggo Rio! These two are friends for life now, I’m sure of it! They have a fully fenced backyard for the pups to play in and brought him to the park to play as well. Just what a 1 year old golden needs! I had zero stress knowing my Sunny was in great hands. Wouldn’t hesitate at all to use them again- pretty sure Sunny is trying to plan my next trip for me already 😂”

“Juliet was amazing! She kept me posted with photos and updates of how my dog was doing. My dog loved having her dogs as companions during his stay as well. I will definitely be booking with her again!”

“Kerri was so wonderful with our pup! She took her on fun adventures, kept her safe, and even gave her a shower afterwards. We would trust Kerri with our pup again!”

“Sydney was awesome! Easy to work with. Her place is clean and with lots of light. She took good care of my dog and I really appreciate that. I’ll go back to her for sure.”

“Mandy is superb. Her love of dogs and humans shines around her… Her home is loving and welcoming to the pups… She can manage small and large dogs together. Your dog will be with other dogs and they are well managed, very well managed. Photos are sent a couple times a day, so loving, funny and 100% reliable. I couldn’t ask for anything more… Great experience.”

About: I have owned a senior dog, and puppy doodle mix, as well as cats. I understand the needs of each, and my level of care and health was always commented on by vets. I am a full-time student and work part-time in addition to this. As a result, I have a flexible schedule and can make sure that your pet doesn't get lonely. I ensure that your dog is comfortable and gets enough exercise and attention. I have a very friendly and chill senior dog who does well with all other dogs. If your dog wants play sessions, I can accommodate that by taking them to the dog park or even just having your dog and mine play together in a fenced-off area.
“Sammie was amazing! I had a last minute work trip planned and she was very accommodating, she took Zion my husky right in! She gave me pics and updates everyday and I could tell my dog was in great hands. I’ll definitely be using her for future services!”

We loved having Maddie stay at Alyssa's home! She was quick to respond and kept us updated with great photos and notes throughout the whole stay. It was clear Maddie loved being there and was in great hands. We couldn't have asked for a better host. We highly recommend Alyssa!

We couldn't have asked for a better sitter than Nicole! She took amazing care of our dog for a full week, and leaving was completely stress-free thanks to her. She sent daily photos and updates that kept us smiling and gave us complete peace of mind while we were away. Our pup was so happy and well-loved the entire time. We will definitely be reaching out to Nicole again in the future!

I had a great experience with Christine and Edwin! Christine was very responsive in getting Popi’s stay planned. Upon arrival, Christine met us and was very warm and reassuring! She kept me updated throughout Popi’s stay, and Popi looked very happy the whole time! Pick up was easy and I had the chance to meet Edwin and Hooch! We would definitely book them again without hesitation!

We had a great experience with Adara. She was reliable, attentive, and took excellent care of our cat while we were away. She sent regular updates and photos, which gave us peace of mind, and our cat seemed comfortable and well cared for when we returned. We would definitely book with her again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a trustworthy cat sitter.

Tsokyi was so wonderful! She was quick to respond, knows her stuff, and has a great set up for a pet to feel safe, comfortable, and cared for. After meeting her and seeing how she interacted with my dog I felt so at ease leaving him in her hands, and it was clear when I picked him up that he had a blast! 10/10 would book again!

Paige is so reliable and always takes such good care of our two high-maintenance and needy dogs. She is so quick to respond and sends me wonderful updates every day! She has a very calm demeanor and I can tell my dogs feel at home with her. I’m so grateful I can leave my boys in her very capable hands when I travel! It gives me peace of mind and helps me enjoy my trips more

Kristine was amazing! This was our first time booking with her, and I was nervous at first to have Kippie stay with someone new that I'd never met. Kippie clearly had a wonderful time with fenced backyard access and other little friends to play with. Kristine sent lots of updates and pictures, and Kippie looked so relaxed in all of them. I am so grateful that we really got to enjoy our trip abroad and feel at ease the whole time knowing that Kippie was well cared for, safe, and having fun! We will definitely book again.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in UT ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies. Cats may be required to have Feline Viral Rhinotracheitis and Rabies up to date.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Emergency support is available by phone or email in English 24/7. When an incident occurs, we recommend that sitters contact our Trust & Safety team immediately so that they can connect your sitter with a board-certified veterinarian or offer other resources to help.
If a sitter needs to cancel at the last minute, Rover’s reservation protection means our team will work with you to find a suitable replacement as quickly as possible.
