“Tess went above and beyond to make sure she had all the details she needed to give Cocoa the care while sitting for me. She provided excellent summaries of her visits. She even went the extra step to ask about specifics prior to sitting to make sure all was covered. I really appreciate her efforts and time with my cat and will definitely be asking her back.”

“Sheila was so nice to my dog. She came to our place for a meet and greet before we leave so that we can meet in person and have my dog interact with her before we leave. Highly recommend her and will definitely request for her service again once we’re away!”

About: I’ve taken care of dogs, cats, and small animals. I am a small animal mom of a bunny and 3 guinea pigs. I love spending time with all kinds of animals. I have done on and off nannying for 3 dogs (English bulldog, maltipoo, bull terrier). I would love to help you out by caring for your animals. I work in accounting Monday through Friday. My hours are super flexible and I am usually out of the office by 3pm. I work from home Tuesdays and Fridays and have more flexibility on those days for walks or stop by visits. I have a morning and night routine for my animals, so they are sure to have a schedule. I will make sure to stay on your schedule for your pets, because it is a very important aspect of your pets life and daily routine. I will care and give love to your pet the same way I would for my own.

“I'd definitely rebook and recommend Mckenna. My dogs immediately liked her. She's responsive, easy to communicate with, timely, and has a kind energy. Couldn't ask for more.”

“Sydney was great and provided detailed check-ins on time with pictures which gave us peace of mind that are guys were in good hands while we were on vacation”

About: Although I don't currently have any pets of my own, I am very much an animal person and would love to watch your pets! I grew up with 3 dogs (a Golden Retriever when I was younger and two mutts when I was in high school) and 2 cats. I've also pet-sat for friends, family, and neighbors since I was a kid-- watching puppies, big dogs, small dogs, and cats. I've also attended a few dog training and behavior courses. I've attended various dog training and behavior courses I work from home (7 AM to 3 PM) Monday to Friday so I have a lot of flexibility when it comes to pet-sitting! If overnight sitting for you, I can let your dogs out multiple times a day (and hang out with your dogs/cats) and can be more hands-on (walks/play time) after 3 PM! I am also in SLC most weekends! I love exercise and am happy to offer slow-paced or fast-paced walks with your dog(s). I would frequently dog-walk between classes in college and loved the experience! During home visits, I'm happy to work from your home and chill with your dogs/cats, let your dog out throughout the workday, walk/play with them in the afternoons, and water your plants, etc.!
“Elena did drop in visits for Kobe and Kevin for a few days. She was fantastic! She provided pictures each check in and it was clear she was interacting with them a lot because her descriptions of their activities were spot on with their personalities. She even brought in our mail/packages for us too. Will definitely rebook!”

“Saya was great doing drop ins for my 2 cats while I was out of town for the weekend! She communicated well, followed instructions, and my cats seemed to love her. Highly recommend :)”

“Kaitlyn was SO WONDERFUL with our cat Moosh. She gave incredibly detailed written summaries and always a ton of photos. Her communication was top notch as well. She’s the best!”

“Michelle did such a great job taking care of our senior cat! I appreciate that Michelle met us beforehand to get comfortable with our cat and was open to taking care of her while in a cone. Michelle gave very detailed notes of each check in and tons of cute photos! Overall we are super happy with the way Michelle took care of our elderly cat while we were away. Thanks Michelle!”

“Lydia was so kind and so quick to respond. Had her drop in a few times to check on our guy and she made a very nervous dog feel so happy and calm. Sent super cute pics each visit which made us feel like our guy was safe and happy. Extremely easy to work with.”

“Anna was great! It was a last minute request for a weekend and she came over quickly to have a meet & greet before we left. She uploaded photos of them playing and was even able to give her her daily pill. Very happy with Anna and her service. :)”

“Sarah was amazing. She helped out Cat with separation anxiety not feel so stressed when we were gone. She also helped to jump in on one last minute Drop-In when our flight was delayed. Sarah is seriously a Rock Star!”

About: What sets me apart? Well I am not your average pet sitter! I’ve cared for everything from dogs and cats to ducks, turtles, and birds. I’m experienced with more than just dogs and cats, I’ve cared for birds, fish, turtles, and even helped with ducks, so I’m confident with all kinds of pets and personalities. I’m a dog mom to Winnie and have volunteered at the humane society, which has helped me develop a calm, patient approach—especially with shy or anxious animals. With a background as a medical assistant (and future PA), I’m detail-oriented, reliable, and comfortable with medications and special care needs. Flexible schedule, lots of attention, and genuine love for animals—your pet will be safe, happy, and well cared for with me. As a college student with a flexible schedule, pet care fits seamlessly into my daily routine. Since I’m not working at the moment, I have plenty of availability throughout the day to provide walks, playtime, and attentive care. Whether your dog needs a midday walk, an evening stroll, or extra attention, I can easily adjust to their schedule. Plus, having raised my own dog since she was a puppy, caring for pets is second nature to me, I love spending time with animals and making sure they feel safe, happy, and well cared for. Safety and trust are my top priorities when caring for pets, whether in my home or my client’s home. I create a calm and secure environment by following each pet’s routine, ensuring they feel comfortable and stress-free. I pay close attention to their behavior, needs, and any special instructions provided by the owner. When walking dogs, I use secure leashes, avoid unsafe areas, and monitor their body language to ensure they feel safe. If caring for pets in a client’s home, I respect their space and routines while providing the same level of care and attention I would for my own dog. My experience raising my own pup has taught me how to handle skittish or anxious dogs with patience and confidence, creating a trusting bond with every pet I care for.
“Micheline took wonderful care of our kitty, Mr.Pickles! She was patient and went out of her way to provide a great experience for him, and while giving us piece of mind. Thank you, Micheline! We look forward to working with you again 💕”

“Abby was an excellent choice to drop in on our little kitten while we were away. She had great communication, left detailed updates with photos and videos, helped with a non-kitten-related request and helped give us peace of mind our first time away from the baby. Highly recommend!”

“Anna was professional and communicative while coordinating drop-in visits for my two cats. She stopped by a few days before the visit to meet my boys and get in-person instructions for their care. She made sure they were well taken care of and played with, and sent me updates and photos during her check-ins. I appreciate Anna’s help, and would definitely book with her again!”

“Andrew was incredibly communicative and truly listened to our needs for our cat. He did an excellent job with the check-in visits and kept us well updated the entire time. We felt very comfortable leaving our cat in his care and would happily book with him again.”

Salt Lake City pet parents share their Rover experiences
This is the first time I have left Boo with someone other than my sister. I can’t thank you enough for all the time you spent with her and how much you got her to play and be active! I guess I was getting her the wrong kind of toys. She very rarely plays with any of her toys; I probably play with them more than she does, just trying to get her to interact. I am so happy I have found someone to watch & spend time with her so I can travel. I will definitely use Gaby again!
Etiana was amazing! She did such a great job and I felt so comfortable leaving Neko in her care. From the initial meet and greet, to each drop-in visit I was always impressed with her professionalism and you can tell she loves animals so much. I would totally recommend her to anyone!

Saya was amazing! She took Dakota last minute without hesitation, followed every request, and kept us updated the whole time with tons of great photos. Dakota was cuddled and well cared for. Saya is clearly experienced and attentive. Highly recommend and will definitely book again!

Jesse was excellent as always :) Our cat Ollie hates when we leave town, but I know he always loves seeing Jesse. We always know he is in good hands with him and will always book with him when we are away. Always on time, always makes sure to give him all the attention he needs, and even taught us a new activity called “treat fetch”. Also, he sends us the BEST photos of Ollie (one of his update photos is our desktop wallpaper). Thank you Jesse!!!
