“Rachael was awesome with my two cats! I could tell they were comfortable with her. Bennie loves to play and got a lot of playtime with Rachael. Peaches got lots of love. I really appreciated the pictures and videos of my kitties while I was away. Rachael did great with troubleshooting my feeder when my big kitty Peaches tried to steal Bennie’s food lol. I definitely recommend Rachael for watching your pets :)”

“Lydia always answers so quickly! & my pup is so happy after hanging out with her. She is easy to work with and is great at keeping me updated on Hopper! Thanks Lydia”

About: I have done a few long-term dog-sitting assignments, the shortest being 2 weeks, and the longest being 30 days (different owners), with dogs being cared for ranging from 1 (white lab) to 5 dogs (white Goldens) including seniors, dogs with medication needs, and puppies. I am currently a student who is working part time, primarily during the afternoon. My intention for using Rover is to supplement my income while I finish my degree. I am loving with pets once trust is built, but I don't force it. I let the animals get used to me and usually just try to mimic or emulate their owners based on what their owners have described their pet's behavior is.
“Jocelyn took great care of Anna and provided thorough updates on every visit. She is a very trustworthy and reliable and made sure I had no worried about Anna's wellbeing while I was out of town.”

“Dhana is an amazing sitter! Super responsive and paid special attention to my older kitty + getting in our apt in a pinch, and went above and beyond watching her and reporting in and the photos etc. I recommend Dhana any time and won't hesitate to reach out to her going forward. Thank you!!”

“Arielle did a drop in visit at the last minute on Easter for my boys! She sent lots of photos and made sure they had food and water. Super thankful for her being available so last minute and would book her again in a heartbeat!”

About: I stand out as a dog sitter because of my hands-on experience and deep love for animals. As a volunteer at Best Friends Animal Society, I’ve worked with dogs of all ages, including puppies needing training and senior dogs requiring extra care. I’m patient, attentive, and dedicated to making sure every pup feels safe, happy, and loved. Whether it’s long walks, playtime, or special care for older dogs, I tailor my approach to each pet’s needs. As a student at Salve Regina, I have a flexible schedule that allows me to dedicate quality time to pet care. I’m available for walks, drop-ins, and sitting throughout the week, with plenty of availability in the mornings, afternoons, and evenings. Whether your pup needs a midday walk, overnight care, or extra playtime, I can accommodate a variety of schedules. Ensuring pets feel safe and loved is my top priority. In my home, I create a pet-friendly environment by removing hazards and providing cozy spaces. In clients' homes, I respect their space and follow their routines to keep pets comfortable. Regular updates and open communication help build trust with pet owners. By focusing on these practices, I ensure a secure and nurturing environment for every pet in my care.
“Kelsey was great!! She sent pictures everyday that she came and cared for our pups. She even took them for walks a few times. I will be contacting her again for more dog sittings in the near future. She was also very polite and understanding to our dogs needs. Thank you again Kelsey!”
About: Growing up on a farm, I developed hands-on experience with a wide range of animals, from livestock to household pets. Today, I extend that care to my friends’ pets whenever they need support, looking after everything from dogs and cats to more unique companions like snakes and chickens. My lifelong connection to animals has given me the skills and intuition needed to ensure they receive the attention and care they deserve. As a part-time web designer and content creator, I work primarily online, which allows me to maintain a highly flexible schedule. Since I set my own hours, I can easily accommodate pet care, always making time for dog walks, cat brushing, and any other needs. My adaptable routine ensures consistent and attentive care for all pets. I’ve had experience both welcoming pets into my home and house-sitting for others. I’m based in Taos, where there’s a fenced yard and access to great hikes nearby. If I stay at your home, you can expect it to be well-cared for, left clean, and I can also manage tasks like plant care as needed. NOTE for boarding: I do have a cat. Any visiting dogs must be cat-friendly and respect cat boundaries.
“Haley was amazing! She checked in on my cats while I was out of town and was incredibly friendly and communicative. I felt completely comfortable having her care for my cats and will definitely use her again.”

About: I have been pet sitting for over 8 years. My family has owned dogs and cats since I was born! I’m very excited to help you with any needs you may have with your furry family members 😊 I currently work in Park City and have a very flexible schedule! I live in downtown Salt Lake, so I am central to different locations. I am able to help you with walks, feeding, or anything else to care for your pets. Depending on your needs, I can offer whatever grooming, feeding and walking services you may need. I know some pets are in need of daily medications, and I am familiar with doing this already.
About: I’ve had about six different dogs in my family before, several of which were huge English mastiffs. I adore big dogs, but have had dogs as small as a boston terrier. My family currently has a husky-poodle mix. I have been a volunteer at the humane society for the past year, where my job has been to walk dogs. I am a college student, so sadly I am away from my dog back home. Before I came to the U, I would walk my dog at least once a day, feed him, brush him, and spend lots of time playing around with him in the house I am a student currently, so having a dog at my house with my roommates is too tricky right now. From my experience with living with dogs before college, I understand how each dog is allowed different things in each household, but the key thing being a dog needs to be comfortable and feel safe wherever they are.
About: I have had lots of prior experience with Rover and also on WAG! I over 140 5 star reviews! I have also walked, and boarded neighbors, friends, and family's dogs. If you are satisfied with your experience please be sure to leave me a good review and 5 star rating, this helps me out so much! Tips are also greatly appreciated and you can tip me! You can tip within the Rover app or just ask me how else you can tip! As a dog lover and dog owner I know what it takes to care for and walk dogs. I have volunteered at shelters bathing and walking dogs. Its so fun to play with them all, and walk them. I'm experienced with sittings, boardings, and walkings as I have had to care people's dogs on WAG! A dog care, boarding, sitting, and walking service and have had to take care of neighbors, friends, and family's dogs while they we're away. I work from home most of the time. so being home or sitting is a easy task and if I'm watching your pet I don't have to go out for work. If your dog has specific needs as far as taking medicine I can help with that too. I work from home and work for myself so I have plenty of free time to care for your pets and play with them or whatever their needs are! I live in a house with a big fenced in yard for them to run around in. If you have small dogs I do have a doggy door they can freely go out to go potty if they are used to thay. I do also have 2 chihuahuas that live here for if your dogs likes company (One lives upstairs with roommate.) If you have issues with other dogs I can also make sure they are seperated from your dogs. I am previoudly experienced and I'm pretty open throughout the day so I will have lots of time to care and play with your pets. There is 1 Chihuahua living in the house so your fur babies will have company. If you don't wanr to have your dogs around my other dog that's not a problem as I have a gate in the basement where I am able to seperate my Chihuahua upstairs and yours downstairs with me.
About: I have had & taken care of all kinds of pet ranging from turtles & between to both cats & dogs since I was little. When I moved out on my own, I ended up with pets of my own & then starting doing it as a side gig to help out friends & family as I had the flexibility. I started doing this professionally a few years back & then stopped due to getting my dream career. Since then, I maintain that job but have the flexibility I wish to have meaning I can adapt to your schedule & needs. I have vast experience from puppies & kittens to elderly animals of many kinds, including those medically complex. I care for every animal as if they were my own. Not sure how to change it but I do have a dog, cat & teens of my own but they won’t be involved when caring for your pet unless wanted. Thank you. I make my own schedule & am able to adjust & prioritize my bookings as needed. If I am not available, it will be updated but I am very flexible. In my apartment I have a larger fenced area as well as access to parks etc close by. I have a crate available if necessary but do not require it. I have one dog currently & do have cats who are fine around dogs & will be in a entirely separate area in the home during in home bookings, so not an issue. I have two teens & a career in funeral service but I can adjust my days in advance easily.
About: I have taken care of dogs since I was a little kid. I have my own yellow lab, I dog sit for neighbors, family friends, etc. I also volunteer at many different dog shelters (Warrior Dog Rescue, Humane Society, etc.). Anything I can do to help dogs, or even just hangout with them, I’m there! I live with two dogs now that I dog sit for when my roommate is gone (1 and 3.5 years old). I am able to care for and give attention to them every day, making sure they are always doing okay. I would love to help out with other peoples dogs too! I will do whatever the owner wants me to do. My typical day would be to wake up for breakfast and morning potty, hangout in the back yard, take them for a walk, cuddle, then giving them dinner and bedtime potty when time. I love to cuddle with dogs, so they are always welcome in my bed.
About: As the daughter of a professional dog trainer, I was still in a stroller the first time I worked with a four legged friend. As a young girl, I entered the dog show ring as soon as I was old enough to compete as a junior handler. When I wasn’t working with dogs specifically, I was an avid volunteer with local wildlife rescues. I’ve worked within animal welfare my entire life, from the fuzzy to the feathered, and I have seen several lifetimes worth of amazing outcomes. I also understand that life with pets can be a challenge. Their needs simply don’t align with modern life. Workdays keep our best friends cooped up, unexpected plans happen at any moment, and even the most perfect pet can lose their cool home alone. Let me help bridge that gap. With love, patience, and a wealth of education and experience in scientifically backed fear-free, force-free, and +R behavioral strategies, I can help ease the stress of pet parenting in the modern world. Your pets are my priority. After years of working with clients locally in the Phoenix Metro area, I have relocated my pet care business to Salt Lake City where I am excited to provide daily services to a host of new pets and their families! I specialize in higher need care for the pets of devoted parents and families, thus I adhere to the highest standards of dignity and respect in every facet of my life. To me, that means caring for your home in a manner I would hope a trusted and qualified professional would care for mine.
