About: I was raised on a ranch with various annimals and understand how to communicate with all animals. I currently am the mom to two herding dogs that I keep mentally and physically active. I’m 5’8 and strong so I can work with large breeds. My schedule is completely open. Ideally my working hours are between 7am and 8pm. I’m working to combine my love for hiking and walking with my love for animals and ensuring they have a happy and balanced life. I am available for hikes, walks, drop-ins and pet sitting at your home. I will work with special needs dogs and animals. I will work on specific training your dog is currently needing. I’m tall and fit so I can work with large breeds.

Sara was fantastic and I will absolutely be having her sit again! She treated my fur babies like they were her own and all of my puppers instantly loved her ❤️ She sent frequent updates and always included photos which made leaving them behind a bit easier. Usually I feel the need to check in on the doggos on our dog cam, but the photos satisfied that desire and she got some great action shots! 😂 I also appreciated that she immediately let me know of any concerns or potential issues and kept me up to date on any changes. Highly recommend and will be hiring her again in the future. Thanks Sara!

This is the second time that Heather has watched Leo. She is fantastic. When I come home I notice little things that she did but was not asked of her. For example, she cleaned and filled up Leo’s water bowl that was outside. She folded up the hose that was a mess outside. Cleaned the floors. Little things like this are appreciated but not expected.

About: I’ve taken care of dogs back to health, fostered dogs, and I have taught high schoolers how to take care of cats and dogs alike. I’m currently working as a teacher. Weekends are preferable if you want 24 hour attention, but I can do more simple things on the weekdays, like walks, and check ins through out the week after 5pm or on lunch breaks if close by! I live in an apartment, where there is a dog park and plenty of places to walk. I have no pets of my own, so I look forward to be around lots of fur babies

Sara is the best! She did a fantastic job caring for my 2 high energy pups. She has great communication, send pictures and updates, follows directions well, and, most importantly, just really loves dogs. Bonus: Sara is a very mindful house sitter and leaves the house spic and span. I would highly recommend her for anyone's dog care needs. She goes above and beyond!

About: I’ve been caring for dogs since I was 10 years old, when I started my own neighborhood dog-walking business. Since then, friends, family, neighbors, and referrals have trusted me with their pets, and spending time with animals continues to be one of my greatest joys. I have experience with dogs of all sizes, breeds, ages, and personalities. Whether it’s helping a puppy stay on track with crate training and routines, keeping an energetic dog active and engaged, or providing gentle, patient care for a senior dog, I tailor my approach to each pet’s unique needs. What sets me apart is that I genuinely enjoy getting to know every dog as an individual. I understand that some dogs want long walks and adventures, while others are happiest relaxing at home with plenty of affection and companionship. My goal is always to make pets feel safe, comfortable, loved, and cared for while their owners are away. I treat every dog as if they were my own and pride myself on being dependable, communicative, and attentive. You can trust that your pet will receive plenty of love, attention, exercise, and personalized care throughout their stay. I’m currently working remotely Monday through Friday with a flexible schedule and will have plenty of time to prioritize walks and playtime depending on your dogs needs! Because I primarily offer house sitting and drop-in visits, my goal is to keep pets comfortable by maintaining their normal routine in the environment they know best. I take time to learn each pet’s schedule, preferences, feeding routine, exercise needs, medications, and any special instructions before care begins. During house sits and drop-ins, I provide plenty of attention, playtime, walks, enrichment, and companionship while ensuring pets feel safe and secure. I keep owners updated with regular photos and messages so they can enjoy peace of mind while they’re away. I treat every home with the same respect and care I would my own and prioritize safety at all times, including secure leashing, monitoring pets outdoors, following household rules, and keeping a close eye on any changes in behavior or health. My goal is to create a stress-free experience for both pets and their owners by providing reliable, loving, and attentive care.

About: My family has always had a dog or cat in the home. My dog Maxx and I have been together for 5 years! We also recently lost our senior Dogs Sadie (mini poodle) and Charlie Jr (toy poodle). Most of my career experience has been in healthcare. I work at the University of Utah Hospital. I have done hikes, walks, kayaking, playdates and a little obedience training with other dogs. I have experience with senior dogs and giving medication. I have a flexible schedule and would love to work with you! I work full time at the University of Utah Hospital, but mostly night shifts. My schedule varies, but will keep my scheduled updated online as accurately as possible. I am able to come to your home and take care of feeding, toileting, and just quality time with your pets. I am happy to come over and take your dog for a walk around the neighborhood. I'm can be flexible with my schedule. Just let me know what you need!

About: I have had lots of prior experience with Rover and also on WAG! I over 140 5 star reviews! I have also walked, and boarded neighbors, friends, and family's dogs. If you are satisfied with your experience please be sure to leave me a good review and 5 star rating, this helps me out so much! Tips are also greatly appreciated and you can tip me! You can tip within the Rover app or just ask me how else you can tip! As a dog lover and dog owner I know what it takes to care for and walk dogs. I have volunteered at shelters bathing and walking dogs. Its so fun to play with them all, and walk them. I'm experienced with sittings, boardings, and walkings as I have had to care people's dogs on WAG! A dog care, boarding, sitting, and walking service and have had to take care of neighbors, friends, and family's dogs while they we're away. I work from home most of the time. so being home or sitting is a easy task and if I'm watching your pet I don't have to go out for work. If your dog has specific needs as far as taking medicine I can help with that too. I work from home and work for myself so I have plenty of free time to care for your pets and play with them or whatever their needs are! I live in a house with a big fenced in yard for them to run around in. If you have small dogs I do have a doggy door they can freely go out to go potty if they are used to thay. I do also have 2 chihuahuas that live here for if your dogs likes company (One lives upstairs with roommate.) If you have issues with other dogs I can also make sure they are seperated from your dogs. I am previoudly experienced and I'm pretty open throughout the day so I will have lots of time to care and play with your pets. There is 1 Chihuahua living in the house so your fur babies will have company. If you don't wanr to have your dogs around my other dog that's not a problem as I have a gate in the basement where I am able to seperate my Chihuahua upstairs and yours downstairs with me.

About: Hey there ! My name is oakley and I am so excited to meet you & your beloved pup! I have had trained experience caring for many pets over the years, including working at veterinary clinics for over three years. I am from Utah, love trail running, traveling, horseback riding, and pretty much any adventure. I can walk in the early morning, mid afternoon, or evening! I work a remote job, so I would be very flexible and would love to help take care of your pup! My dog is my best friend! About: I have cared for dogs personally since I was very young. I took my dog (a labradoodle) on walks on a regular basis and cared for him in other ways like feeding and picking up poop as well. I love dogs, and I am new to helping others with their pet needs and eager to get started. Since I’m new I don’t charge as much, but I promise to walk all dogs with care and come in for sitting with care.

About: As the daughter of a professional dog trainer, I was still in a stroller the first time I worked with a four legged friend. As a young girl, I entered the dog show ring as soon as I was old enough to compete as a junior handler. When I wasn’t working with dogs specifically, I was an avid volunteer with local wildlife rescues. I’ve worked within animal welfare my entire life, from the fuzzy to the feathered, and I have seen several lifetimes worth of amazing outcomes. I also understand that life with pets can be a challenge. Their needs simply don’t align with modern life. Workdays keep our best friends cooped up, unexpected plans happen at any moment, and even the most perfect pet can lose their cool home alone. Let me help bridge that gap. With love, patience, and a wealth of education and experience in scientifically backed fear-free, force-free, and +R behavioral strategies, I can help ease the stress of pet parenting in the modern world. Your pets are my priority. After years of working with clients locally in the Phoenix Metro area, I have relocated my pet care business to Salt Lake City where I am excited to provide daily services to a host of new pets and their families! I specialize in higher need care for the pets of devoted parents and families, thus I adhere to the highest standards of dignity and respect in every facet of my life. To me, that means caring for your home in a manner I would hope a trusted and qualified professional would care for mine.

Roxana was a wonderful and kind dog sitter for our nearly 10-year-old fur girl. She took great care of her - keeping her meal schedule, taking her on walks, showering her with love, and sending us regular updates with photos and videos. Even with a slight language barrier (our family doesn’t speak Spanish), Roxana communicated clearly both through Rover and in person, always asking thoughtful questions to make sure everyone was on the same page. We’re already planning to work with her again and would recommend her without hesitation!
