“What can I say? Tara was and is absolutely incredible! Not only did she accept my request for a sitter only a couple of days before my trip, but she was amazing while I was gone. My poor new puppy got an eye infection while I was gone and Tara went out of her way to take her to the vet and take extra special care of my dog. I am so glad I went with someone so experienced and would a) request her again and most importantly, b), would recommend her in an instant!”

Their full time, caring and responsible care made my vacation even more special. I will definitely use them again if I can. They are the kind of families that give Rover a good name. I’m grateful.”

“Holly’s such a sweet soul! We did a meet and greet to see if our dogs are compatible to be around. She’s patient with her dogs in meeting mine, by slowly introducing them one by one. We met for about an hour until my dog was ok to be with everyone. She kept me posted while I was away, providing pictures of how the days went. I’m so happy my dog had a wonderful time! Thank you, again, Holly!! ☺️”

“Ziggy had a great time with Valerie and Nicholas. My wife and I recently moved to SLC from the east coast and this past week was the first time we've traveled anywhere without our pup. We so appreciated Valerie and Nicholas's communication while we were away. They made sure Ziggy got time outside and exercise and lots of snuggles! We will definitely book with Valerie and Nicholas again next time we travel.”

I definitely recommend Rachael for watching your pets :)”

You can tip within the Rover app or just ask me how else you can tip! As a dog lover and dog owner I know what it takes to care for and walk dogs. I have volunteered at shelters bathing and walking dogs. Its so fun to play with them all, and walk them. I'm experienced with sittings, boardings, and walkings as I have had to care people's dogs on WAG! A dog care, boarding, sitting, and walking service and have had to take care of neighbors, friends, and family's dogs while they we're away. I work from home most of the time. so being home or sitting is a easy task and if I'm watching your pet I don't have to go out for work. If your dog has specific needs as far as taking medicine I can help with that too. I work from home and work for myself so I have plenty of free time to care for your pets and play with them or whatever their needs are! I live in a house with a big fenced in yard for them to run around in. If you have small dogs I do have a doggy door they can freely go out to go potty if they are used to thay. I do also have 2 chihuahuas that live here for if your dogs likes company (One lives upstairs with roommate.) If you have issues with other dogs I can also make sure they are seperated from your dogs. I am previoudly experienced and I'm pretty open throughout the day so I will have lots of time to care and play with your pets. There is 1 Chihuahua living in the house so your fur babies will have company. If you don't wanr to have your dogs around my other dog that's not a problem as I have a gate in the basement where I am able to seperate my Chihuahua upstairs and yours downstairs with me.

“Amy and her family have been watching my little Ellie girl for the past few weeks while her regular sitter has been out of town and they are just the best! Ellie adores hanging out with them and they just know how to show a pup some love when you can’t! So glad we’ve met them☺️”

“Schnitzel had an incredible time today hanging out with Hilary, Marcelo, and Rio! We’re so glad they were able to take him for doggy daycare and would definitely book again.”

“I had a wonderful experience with this dog sitter! My dogs were very happy in her care and were excited to go back each morning, which gave me a lot of confidence that they were being well looked after. She was reliable, communicative, and kept me updated with photos and even the routes they took on their walks. It was great to see what they were up to throughout the day. One day, one of my dogs rolled in something particularly messy, and she took the time to get her cleaned up before I picked her up. That extra level of care was really appreciated. I highly recommend her to anyone looking for a trustworthy and caring dog sitter!”

My current pet is a husky named Lacey who loves and gets along with everyone including other pets. I have raised yorkies, pit bulls, huskies, and dalmatians just to name a few. i love to make new animal friends and cant wait to meet your best friend =) I work seasonal jobs and have long breaks in between jobs where I enjoy spending my time outside meeting new dogs and playing with my dog. I have a small but useful fenced in backyard as well as a large dog park around the corner where we can play and run our little hearts out. I enjoy long walks and throwing the ball for your pet to fetch. A tired pet is a happy pet.

About: With over 3 years of experience, I offer pet care services, including overnight stays, drop-ins, and holiday coverage. Ensuring pets receive love, attention, and reliable care is my commitment, delivering peace of mind to owners and happiness to furry companions. I’m currently a college student with only two days a week of school looking to help out pet owners on top of my part time nannying job. Pretty open and flexible. I believe safety, trust & awareness of environment are paramount to having a good relationship between pet sitters and owners. Being tasked with caring for someone’s near and dear pets should be taken with utmost responsibility. Can’t wait for the opportunity to care for some fur friends.

“Tara was amazing!!! She was so caring for our pup, kept us updated with pictures through her stay, and was available last minute when we needed someone to watch her. We are so grateful! Will definitely be coming back!”

“Our sweet Stormi always gets very excited when we pull up to Matt’s! Stormi is here at least once a week and we feel very comfortable leaving him in Matt’s care! Thanks Matt! :)”

About: I have had pets in my home for my entire life. I have volunteered in animal shelters since 2019 and currently do regular shifts at a local shelter, where I walk dogs (I am trained to the most advanced level, meaning I can interact with and walk dogs who are still working on their social skills and interactions), take dogs and cats on local news shows to encourage adoption, foster dogs in my own home, and take part in educational opportunities to continually advance my animal care and advocacy abilities. My full-time job is remote and has a flexible schedule, so I can hang out with pets for much of the day and take breaks for outside time, playtime, appointments, and so on. I also teach a handful of yoga classes every week, usually in the late mornings, but the times vary from week to week. I am happy to give your pet what they need, whether that's scritichies, playtime, walks, gentle time sitting around, medicine, and so on. Whatever it is, I will be patient with them and their needs.
“Jean was so kind to let us book a last-minute daycare appointment, which we greatly appreciated. She took great care of our Jojo-doggy. She has a great setup for taking care of fur babies, which she seems to enjoy doing. We highly recommend her!”

“Kady was so sweet and kind to Russ. I can tell that he absolutely adored her. She was very professional and flexible with the changes I wanted to make. Will def book a walk with her again.”

About: As a life-long pet owner, lover, and caretaker, I am well-equipped to take in your furry friends and passionate about giving them a warm, safe place to stay (and play). I’ve had pets since I was a child — some of my fondest memories involve wet kisses and long, sniff-filled walks around the neighborhood. In addition to providing my family pets with basic care and love, I’ve watched and cared for dogs in my community since I was a tween. Neighbors enlisted my help to walk, feed, and check in on their pets while away, and I happily obliged any time I could. I’ve also cared for my own pup (a Golden Retriever) since I was 18, allowing me to adapt and grow with my dog over many years, homes, and chapters of life. Additionally, I lived with an experienced dog trainer for nearly five years, learning about dog behavior, care, training, and safety. During this time, I interacted (at home and in training classes) with dozens of breeds each with unique temperaments. I’ve lived with multiple dogs at once, and have experience with reactive pups who need more space and patience than others. Long story long, I am but a person who loves animals, is passionate about pet care and wellness, and wants to keep your pets safe and sound while away from their human families :) I currently work from home as a freelance content creator and musician. Most of my time spent away from home is flexible and lasts (at most) 5 hours (with a few exceptions). I enjoy spending time with dogs, and try to be home as often as possible when watching pets to ensure they are comfortable and safe. I have a large, fenced yard with plenty of room to explore, sniff, and play! I have one 11 year old dog — a sweet, social, pet-friendly Golden Retriever — to keep your pup company. His name is Simba, he loves to say hi and will engage if your pup initiates, but is also very content to keep to himself and takes cues and warnings well. Simba is a free roaming dog and I am happy to keep your pup out and about while I'm home and able to supervise. I also live with a cat who keeps to herself and stays confined to a dog-free room. She will not interact with your pets during their stay. For your pup's safety and mine, I prefer they are crate trained. That way, I can ensure they are safe and comfortable while I'm out. I also utilize kennels as a quiet space for dogs to decompress and recharge separate from outside distractions. However, they will be offered plenty of time outside of their crates, both indoors and outdoors. Dogs are allowed on furniture and beds in my house. However, I can enforce any off-furniture rules to maintain their routine while away from home.
About: Hi! My name is Nicole and I’m an experienced pet sitter who has been around and lived with animals since I was a child. I work fully remote and I don’t have any pets of my own (sadly!) so I love to take care of my clients pets. :) I have pet sat for several families over the years and I would love the opportunity to spend time with your pet family! I have a flexible remote work from home schedule, so I can work with you and your pets scheduling needs. I also have experience house sitting, and I am comfortable staying with your pet for extended stays. I have dog sat in several different environments, including pets with large yards and small breeds living in apartments with limited accessible outdoor space. I am comfortable with any size breed.
“Dhana is always on time and is so good with my puppy. She is kind, loves my puppy, will try to teach a command or two to Jelly, and will do different fun things each day to keep her entertained :)”

About: I've grown up w cats and dogs and started and ran a hotel for dogs in NJ before moving to Utah! I specialize in longer walks and overnight stays, often around a two hour hike that includes pickup and drop offs, MWF, T/TH packages as well as singular hikes.. I love pets as if they are people (maybe even more so!) and treat them all like they are my own. I prefer more individual, special attention over trying to watch as many as possible- as the connections made is the most gratifying part of providing pet care! I am golf caddy so I am typically away from home for about 5 hours on days that I work.. I typically take the dogs out for a morning potty walk, followed by breakfast, a rest break to let the stomach settle and then a long walk or playtime at a park or a field! Rest after that then a potty walk before dinner and then a bed time potty walk before snuggling up in bed! I am currently only staying overnight at client's home but will watch them at my place when I have a permanent residence. I use dog harnesses and leashes to restrain pets during transportation and for walks. If they are good off-leash, I'll do that as long as it's not too crowded on the trails. Also, plenty of balls, Frisbees, etc. for playing. I like to give them marrow bones for an afternoon treat if it's allowed :)

If you have issues with other dogs I can also make sure they are seperated from your dogs.
About: I accidentally went into the dog sitting business by helping out a person from the dog park who didn't have anyone to watch her Giant Schnauzer. I took care of him for 8 days. He did not want to go with her when she picked him up. Haha. That's how much of a good time he had. That was going to be the end of me dog sitting, but this lady spread the word and before I knew it, I became the go-to guy for everyone! I watched all kinds of dogs. From Great Danes to Chihuahuas. I watched problem dogs, senior dogs, puppies and anything in between. My place is a dog house! No restrictions for furniture, bed use, unless rules need to be applied as requested by the dogs owners. My yard is approx 1/2acre and fenced. I have a full size Truck to take any size doggie to walking and hiking areas. I accept short notice assignments either at my place or your home. My prices on here are negotiable, based on the doggie and/time you need help with. I don't know how to groom (unless brushing counts as grooming??😉),but will love to give baths. This is a single person household and there are no other doggies in the house. I just lost my beloved Great Dane Grace after 12 years, so all my love and affection will go toward your doggie! You will get daily updates most likely accompanied by professional looking photos of your doggie or cat. (I do pet photography on the side) I retired early and am available to stay with your doggie 24/7. I am an avid photographer and rather take your doggie with me on walks/hikes (depending on your doggies activity level/age etc.) than just letting them out in the yard. I know oodles of safe walking/hiking areas and will pick the ones that match your doggies desires. We will discuss details for your doggie upon you meeting me personally. I'm German and super nice! Dogs just love me. Always have. Maybe I smell like cookies. Haha. Who knows.
About: I've lived with and cared for dogs, cats and various other animals my whole life. I love spending time with and getting to know animals of all kinds! I currently work full time in the culinary industry. My current schedule is 6am-5pm, Monday-Thursday. I am avaliable to visit and care for pets anytime that I am not at work in whatever ways work best for you and your pets. Friday morning, through Sunday night, would be the only timeframe I am available for round the clock care. At my home, the first step is seeing if the pets I live with get along with yours. After that, my goals for taking care of anyone's pets are the same as taking care of my own - Pay attention to their needs and wants and personalities to keep them as safe, comfortable, healthy and happy as possible, while we have a great time together.

“Rey R and family were fantastic sitters for my dogs. They did everything to make my dogs comfortable, safe and happy. Everyone benefited. They went beyond the call of duty as well.

“This was Domino's first time staying with Katherine and he had a great time. She was quick to respond leading up to his stay and sent daily photos while we were out of town. We would definitely book with Katherine again.”

About: I have been fostering animals for over 10 years. I also have 3 dogs of my own along with two cats. Animals are absolutely my greatest passion. Helping animals is something I hope I can continue to do for a long time. I work from home so I am able to set my own schedule. It’s also nice that my kids are all in full day school now so my schedule is even my flexible. I will love your pet as if they are my own. Animals are family. I have three dogs of my own at home along with two cats. I do not ever want a pet to feel overwhelmed or stressed out. Leaving a pet behind is hard enough without adding any extra struggles.
