“Dominique was wonderful! I needed last-minute daycare for my older dog while coming in from out of state, and she was kind enough to let me book the night before. That flexibility meant so much and gave me huge peace of mind. My dog was happy and relaxed when I picked him up, which tells me he was well cared for. I’m so grateful and would absolutely recommend Dominique!”

About: Two decades of paws, whiskers, and wagging tails have taught me one thing: every pet deserves care tailored to them. I’ve shared my home with cats, dogs, and even small rodents over the past 20 years, and I currently dote on my own sweet cat. From leisurely dog walks to supporting chronically ill pets, I’m calm, capable, and quick to learn new routines. I also have experience house-sitting and pet-sitting simultaneously, so I understand the importance of respecting your home and privacy. You can trust me to keep your space just as you left it: tidy, secure, and well cared for. Because I work remotely, I can spend plenty of time throughout the day keeping your pet happy, comfortable, and loved. I work remotely, which means I have the flexibility to fit pet care seamlessly into my daily routine. I’m able to set aside time throughout the day, whether in the early morning, midday, or evening, to give pets the attention they need, from walks and playtime to feedings and medication. This means your furry family member gets consistent, reliable care without long stretches alone. Whether I’m caring for pets in my own home or in yours, I focus on following your instructions closely so your pet’s routine stays familiar and stress-free. I take the time to listen and learn about the little quirks and preferences that make each animal unique, whether that’s a favorite toy, a special feeding method, or a spot they love to nap. My goal is always to serve them in the way that’s best for their comfort, happiness, and well-being, while respecting your home and keeping it just as you left it.
“I had a wonderful experience with this dog sitter! My dogs were very happy in her care and were excited to go back each morning, which gave me a lot of confidence that they were being well looked after. She was reliable, communicative, and kept me updated with photos and even the routes they took on their walks. It was great to see what they were up to throughout the day. One day, one of my dogs rolled in something particularly messy, and she took the time to get her cleaned up before I picked her up. That extra level of care was really appreciated. I highly recommend her to anyone looking for a trustworthy and caring dog sitter!”

“Schnitzel had an incredible time today hanging out with Hilary, Marcelo, and Rio! We’re so glad they were able to take him for doggy daycare and would definitely book again.”

“We can't recommend Jeff and Heidi enough. We have brought our puppy to stay with them multiple times and he always comes home tired and happy. They are very reliable and flexible, and always respond within minutes. Kodi can't wait to visit again!”

About: I’m the type of dog lover that smiles and says hi to every dog. Pet sitting is my dream job since I don’t have any pets of my own yet and work flexible hours from my 1 bedroom apartment in downtown Salt Lake City! Next to Hardware Apartments, 4th West, Camber, Salt Lake Crossing. What do I prioritize? 1. Reading your dogs body language and needs. I know that being away from home is stressful for your pup, so I give them extra attention, walks, and enrichment to keep them as relaxed and happy as possible. 2. Walks are your dogs time to explore and sniff! They are encouraged to stop at every tree and meet everyone along the way. If you have an active or friendly dog, we will explore mountain trails and dog parks. If you have a senior or reactive dog - I’ll walk them where it’s quiet and shady. 3. Safety - For summer heat, I do longer walks during cool morning or sunset hours and always avoiding hot concrete that could burn paws! Unless there is unsafe situation, I’ll never yank on their leash. I specialize in creating a calm, low-stimulus oasis where puppies, senior, sensitive, or simply pampered pups receive the exact intuitive care and luxury attention they get at home. Let’s talk on the phone or do a meet/greet before confirming your booking to ensure we are a good fit! I have great work life balance at my fully remote job. I have a few meetings a week, but most of my day is flexible. I have dealt with plenty of doggie issues, so if you have a dog that loves eating things on walks, barks a lot, or has a lot of anxiety that’s no problem for me!
“Alyssa was great! I had to book a dog sitter last minute and she was very accommodating. She sent pictures throughout the day which is always welcome when we miss our fur babies. No complaints here!”

“So grateful to Maritza for taking such good care of our puppy on short notice! Perfect updates and communication (lots of cute pictures!) and a warm, caring environment.”

“Amy is truly a gem! She took incredible care of my dog while I was away, and I couldn’t have asked for a better experience. She was attentive, responsible, and it was clear that she treated my dog like her own, giving her so much love, attention, and care.”

About: I have had pets in my home for my entire life. I have volunteered in animal shelters since 2019 and currently do regular shifts at a local shelter, where I walk dogs (I am trained to the most advanced level, meaning I can interact with and walk dogs who are still working on their social skills and interactions), take dogs and cats on local news shows to encourage adoption, foster dogs in my own home, and take part in educational opportunities to continually advance my animal care and advocacy abilities. My full-time job is remote and has a flexible schedule, so I can hang out with pets for much of the day and take breaks for outside time, playtime, appointments, and so on. I also teach a handful of yoga classes every week, usually in the late mornings, but the times vary from week to week. I am happy to give your pet what they need, whether that's scritichies, playtime, walks, gentle time sitting around, medicine, and so on. Whatever it is, I will be patient with them and their needs.
About: I’ve taken care of dogs since I was 7 years old! I currently also have a bunny and a double doodle puppy. I have also cat sit but I am open to caring for all animals! I am currently at sophomore at the University of Utah. I have in person classes on Mondays and Wednesdays but am pretty flexible on when I can care for your pets! In my clients home, I am able to do whatever they need to make the animals comfortable. I am not offering care in my home at this time.

Dominique was great with Taz! She was super communicative, kind, and made me feel really comfortable leaving my dog with him especially since I’m newer to the area. Taz came home happy, relaxed, and well taken care of. I really appreciated the updates and knowing he was in good hands. Would definitely book with her again 😊🐾

Alexis is a fantastic dog-sitter. Super communicative both before and during the stay. Friendly, professional and clearly loves dogs. We made a last minute request to extend our dog’s stay and she accommodated us with no problem. I highly recommend Alexis for your dog-sitting needs in SLC - one of the best Rover sitters we’ve had.
Easily the best experience I’ve had with doggie daycare. Dom took Josie on all the adventures, sent a ton of good updates, and even helped with training tips. You can tell she has a deep love and understanding of dogs, highly recommend to anyone who loves their pup.

Nicole is our new favorite dog sitter! Her care and attention to detail blew us away. She took our Scout on adventures, maintained our preferred puppy training, helped reinforce the habits we wish to keep at home, and truly treated her like family while in her care. She communicated throughly, sent us updates, and made the whole process a breeze. We couldn’t recommend Nicole enough! 10/10 experience! We will be using her again!

Madelaine was wonderful with our 6-month-old miniature dachshund. Even though it was just a day stay, it was immediately clear when I picked her up that she’d had a great day. Our puppy was happy, relaxed, and clearly well cared for. Madelaine was kind, attentive, and made us feel completely at ease leaving our pup in her care. We wouldn’t hesitate to book with her again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a trustworthy and loving sitter.

I left my 10-week-old pup with Marisa with a very late notice and she was AMAZING! She communicated frequently and sent me many pictures. She took amazing care of my baby and will book again. I know my little man was well cared for and loved while I was away!

Hannah was so kind and interactive with Joni. We came to SLC for a week from Montana and needed care for our new puppy. She was flexible, available, and trustworthy. I highly recommend her services, and if we ever return to SLC would see if she is available to watch our animals again.
