About: I've been with Rover for a few years and i just love it! I've taken care of cats, dogs and even chickens. It's a place great way to meet critters. Not experienced in training, sadly. I'm currently looking for a part time job. So I have plenty of time playing with your fur babies. I am currently available for doggy day care as well. I do live in a studio apartment, right out my front door is a dog park. And it's the perfect place to walk dogs. All kinds of my neighbors are always out walking there dogs.

I plan to use them when we go on a Europe trip later this year. While I do think there could be a bit better communication I also recognize that M.K has a life too and I think that a lot of these reviews fail to see M.K. as a human just as we her clients are. So ultimately I don’t see any negatives to having my boy, Sprout, stay with them. I really cannot say enough high praises about M.K and their partner. Sprout is always super excited to see them! He always comes home well socialized and exercised. I know he is getting plenty of enrichment and love while there, and so so much fun! I love the photos I get everytime he’s with them, especially when he’s boarded there while we are out of town missing him! The daily photos really gives us assurance. Sprout is a very energetic dog and I truly feel that they are able to help him get all of his energy out in a healthy fun way. I’ve tried other dog day cares before and sprout always came back filthy and TOO exhausted, it was worrisome. He’d come back with wounds as well. I never have to worry about any of that with M.K. They are able to help my boy pace himself and take rests when he needs them. I really feel that the negative reviews are harsh. I cannot recommend M.K. Enough and I am incredibly grateful we have found them! We and Sprout will definitely be a life client!”

About: *I currently have a 4 year old, neutered male, Border Collie mix* (If booking for 4 days or more, I prefer to bring him with me. If it's less than 4 days I can work with leaving him at home.) I've had dogs in my life since I was about 8 years old. My mom bred our dogs and I would help her. I helped to birth the puppies, feed and wash them, weigh them and track their progress, train and care for them. Since I was 18 I've adopted six dogs. One of them was deaf and blind when I adopted her. I've never been the first home for any of my doggos but I've been the best/most loving final home for all of them. I work part time and have plenty of time to spend with animals. I usually take my dog out for a stretch/potty every couple of hours and we walk at least once a day. I'm constantly looking for new parks and fun places to play. I have a three year old Border Collie mix that gets along well with other dogs and cats. The yard is fenced but there's no doggy door. I have some crates of various sizes if needed. The fur babies are allowed on the bed and all of the furniture at my house. I frequently pet/house sit for a Pitbull mix and she's one of my dogs besties. She has medication and a special diet. I've also frequently had my dad's dogs visit. So my dog is used to both having separate food and sharing in a communal pack. Whenever we pet/house sit we follow their house rules (i.e. - no dogs on the furniture or in the kitchen, etc). I'm trusted with keys to multiple homes and never stop by unless asked to.

Ember loves it here! We used to go to one of the commercial doggy daycares here in SLC but we could tell it wasn’t her favorite place. She’d drag her paws when we took her there. Heathers house she LOVES! You always know your Velcro pupper loves a place if they can’t wait to get away from you which is how Ember is with Heather. Highly recommend! We have had a great experience so far.

Rudy’s stay over three days for doggy daycare at Jennifer’s worked out great. She was really accommodating and attentive, and set up the environment to keep him safe and engaged. For example, she set up a little pool during the hot days, and provided toys. Her dog Jasper was a great play buddy for Rudy, which helped with the separation anxiety. I felt good about leaving Rudy in her care, and highly recommend Jennifer for daycare for your pup.
Holly is AMAZING!!! we really lucked out finding her, we came to SLC for a tennis tournament and I contacted Holly on a very short notice and she was able to accommodate us, as soon as I met Holly I knew Junior was in good hands, and I wasn’t wrong! Junior was so so happy the first day he spend at Holly’s home and the second day he was soooo excited to come back! she treated him like he was her own dog and I LOOVE that, I know my dog Junior got all the love, all the play and care I was looking for. So so thankful, we are never looking for another dog sitter in Salt Lake, she is the absolute best! 🫶🙌🏻
Matthew was great with Noodle. I was having a difficult time finding someone that I felt I could trust because Noodle is still in puppy mode a lot of the time and hadn't learned proper social etiquette with other dogs yet. Matthew was willing to take him on, sent lots of pictures showing my young dog was doing fine. I would definitely use Matthew again.
We had an event in Salt Lake and dropped our pup here to play for the afternoon, she loved it! They sent cutie pictures of her playing and they even fed her because we had a change of plans and ended up picking her up later than we planned. Highly recommend! Our dog is happy and tired :)
Logan was friendly, and it was a real plus that he's home full-time and able to give Theo (an anxious dog who can't be left alone) company rather than leaving him solo. His yard is sizable and fenced, which mattered given that his home sits directly off a busy main road. One thing I'd recommend: ask upfront how often you'd like pup updates. This was my first time with Logan, and I prefer proactive updates, so my lesson learned for next time is to communicate that expectation before the stay starts. To his credit, Logan was responsive whenever I reached out. Logan also let me know he doesn't walk dogs due to the busy road in front of his home, which seemed different from what the profile implied about a nearby trail. Theo came back noticeably dustier and very thirsty than usual, and given his Addison's disease along with all the above, I decided it wasn't the right fit to move from a day care session into a 5 night stay. Overall a kind sitter, but I'd suggest a test day care visit first to see the space and get a feel for the care before committing to a longer stay.
