About: If you are reading this, you don’t need to go elsewhere. While you are away your baby will have their own poochcation. I’ve been a pooch fur baby lover since I was a kid however my dad never let me have any. When I turned 18 i moved out and rescued my now 17 yr old baby. They had thrown him in a dumpster! Anywho I have babysat my friend’s/family pooches ever since! I know how nerve wrecking it is to leave your baby with someone they may not know. I will send pics, videos spoil your baby that they will think they are on vacation themselves. I have repeat pawrents. I work from home and have 2 other little senior fur babies with me. We take walks multiple times a day, go to the dog park and love taking them on car rides. I live in a townhome but have a dog park and park around me pretty close to me. I love going on bike rides and pull them on my trailer, walks, and live their best life. I currently have an 17 & 10 year old pooches that live with my husband and I. If you bring your baby for boarding they will have a bath with no extra charges. We only use the very best shampoos for the fur babies. I have experience with giving meds, shots etc. I work from home so I’m at home all day long along with my 2 little fur babies. We love living good and enjoy it I live in a townhome your fur babies will always be on a leash as their safety is my number one priority they’ll be happy and comfortable with me.

About: I grew up with and caring for dogs and cats. I often pet sit for friends and family. I love going on walks and playing with pets. I am comfortable supporting with basic training. I am a teacher currently on summer holiday. I am home most of the time and am looking to stay busy. I have plenty of flexibility in my schedule to take long and short walks and play with furry friends. I live in a one bedroom apartment. I have a small balcony they are welcome to hang out on and I will take them on plenty of walks and to go play outside. I like being outside so although I can’t offer a yard I can offer lots of outside time. Pets are allowed on furniture here but I do also have a floor mat.
About: I've had dogs in my life since I was about 8 years old. My mom bred our dogs and I would help her. I helped to birth the puppies, feed and wash them, weigh them and track their progress, train and care for them. Since I was 18 I've adopted six dogs. One of them was deaf and blind when I adopted her. I've never been the first home for any of my doggos but I've been the best/most loving final home for all of them. I work part time and have plenty of time to spend with animals. I usually take my dog out for a stretch/potty every couple of hours and we walk at least once a day. I'm constantly looking for new parks and fun places to play. I have a three year old Border Collie mix that gets along well with other dogs and cats. The yard is fenced but there's no doggy door. I have some crates of various sizes if needed. The fur babies are allowed on the bed and all of the furniture at my house. I frequently pet/house sit for a Pitbull mix and she's one of my dogs besties. She has medication and a special diet. I've also frequently had my dad's dogs visit. So my dog is used to both having separate food and sharing in a communal pack. Whenever we pet/house sit we follow their house rules (i.e. - no dogs on the furniture or in the kitchen, etc). I'm trusted with keys to multiple homes and never stop by unless asked to.
About: Hi! I've grown up with dogs my entire life and have always loved being around them. While I don't currently have a dog of my own, I share my home with two friendly cats and have plenty of experience caring for dogs of different sizes and personalities. Most recently I cared for a Great Dane who needed anxiety medication daily, and don’t particularly love to take it! Haha I currently have a very flexible schedule and am home most of the day, which allows me to provide plenty of attention, supervision, potty breaks, playtime, and companionship. I can easily accommodate your dog's routine and make sure they receive consistent care throughout their stay. My home has a large, fully fenced backyard where dogs can safely play, explore, and get plenty of exercise. I also have two resident cats, so I am best suited for dogs that are comfortable around cats. I strive to provide a safe, welcoming environment where every dog feels comfortable, cared for, and at home.
“Alex is attentive, intuitive and professional. I would recommend Alex to anyone who cares about attention to detail, she does so well with my puppy and he loves her!”

For some animals i like to leave the tv on for them when i leave making them more comfortable.
“Eric is awesome. He admitted that he was newer to Rover but made up for it with extra effort and dedication. I appreciate the time that he took with my doggo and kept me updated on how things went. I highly recommend Eric and will continue to be a repeat customer of his for as long as he is available. Thank you Eric!”

“Elisabeth is awesome! She has taken my dog Graham out for several walks and somehow manages to get him out and about (even though he is a bit lazy). She takes great care to make him feel comfortable and I feel so at ease knowing he is in good hands. Would recommend!”

About: Over the past two years, I've cared for cats and dogs in my own home and absolutely love spending time with them. My experience goes beyond the basics, too — I've helped care for my family's pets including snakes, fish, ferrets, and hamsters, so I'm comfortable and confident handling a wide range of animals, not just the usual ones. I believe every pet has its own personality and needs, and I take the time to learn their routines, quirks, and comfort levels so they feel safe with me. Whether it's an energetic pup who needs a good walk, a cat who wants quiet cuddle time, or a more unique pet with specific care requirements, I approach every visit with patience and genuine enthusiasm. Animals bring me so much joy, and I'd love the chance to give your pet the same care and appreciation I give my own Right now, I have full availability for visits and sitting between 7am and 7pm, since I'm currently between jobs and on the lookout for a morning position. This means I can offer flexible, reliable scheduling for your pet's care during this time. Once I land a new job, I'll update my availability here so you always have the most accurate picture of when I can help Before my visit, please let me know a few key details: backyard access, walking needs, feeding schedule/food specifics, and any favorite enrichments or activities your pet loves. This helps me give them the best care possible while you're away!
About: I have 10 years of experience taking care of dogs, big and small, old and young. I also have about the years of experience working with small exotic mammals. I also work with children which means I'm familiar with high energy and following parents rules and requests. I also spent a few months taking care of my senior dog that was medically compromised so I am familiar with those treatment requirements. I work a couple of hours in the evening which means I am available all day for fun walks, playtime, or any feedings your furry friend might need. I am also very flexible on weekends and evenings after 7. I love detailed notes and requests so if you find yourself having or wanting to leave any, I will be sure to read them and follow them to a T. I am also not afraid to reach out and ask before I do anything that isn't specified so you never have to worry about me doing something you wouldn't want. I know how important fur babies are to their families and the only thing I want is to treat them the way their families would, with all the care in the world.
About: I use to house/dog sit for a family for 3 years and I loved getting to know the dogs that I sat, the longer I would house/dog sit the more the dogs got comfortable with me and I got to see all the fun quirks they had. I have a pretty flexible schedule with work, so whenever care needs to be done, I can do it. I am an organized person as well so everything with be on a strict schedule. I will travel anywhere to walk your dog. I feel very confident in my walking skills and how to navigate Salt Lake City to walk someone's dog.
“Diane had excellent communication throughout the booking and made sure to give plenty of updates and pictures of my pups. My dogs were very well taken care of and I was completely at ease having Diane over their care! Highly recommended and will be booking again when the needs arise! Thank you!!!”

“My pup Baloo is very timid of new ppl and Gracie was so patient with him before starting their walk. She was very sweet during the greet and meet and also allowed him to take his time to warm up to her.”

About: What sets me apart as a sitter is my deep passion for cats and my extensive experience with my four Maine Coon cats. I understand their unique personalities and needs, ensuring they receive the best care possible. I'm skilled at administering medications and love keeping a clean environment, which includes deep-cleaning litter boxes regularly. My goal is to provide a loving, safe, and nurturing space for your furry friends, making their comfort my top priority! I work part-time so that I can have more time and energy to devote to my furry family. As my cats are getting older, I need more outlets for my energy! My home is completely pet safe. I take precautions like keeping things out of reach and utilizing child locks. I also have a room that my cats do not have access to.

Dog parents share their Rover experiences - Taylorsville
Myla Rose has done many walks as well as house sitting for us and has been an absolute pleasure to work with! Our dog can take awhile to warm up and they have definitely earned his trust. We can tell he enjoys their time together. During the most recent house sitting, our dog had been sick and we had to cancel his daycare stay, but thankfully Myla was available for a last minute dog sitting and despite our dog needing some closer monitoring than usual we felt completely at ease leaving him in their care.

Christina did the most amazing job watching my two girls this week while I was out of town. It was my first vacation in three years and I had a lot of anxiety and guilt about leaving them behind. She alleviated that so quickly after meeting her the first time. She took care of my girls as though they were her own dogs. She was reliable and attentive and sent photo updates regularly. I can't imagine using anyone else 🩷

Alex understands dogs and I never have to worry when my puppy is with her. She is the perfect blend of professionalism and warmth. We have been getting regular walks from her for some time and she has been so consistent, dependable and communicative. I cannot recommend her enough (also my puppy adores her).

Hi my name is Valentine and I just went on the best walk ever. My walker showed up with happy energy, gave me scratches, and told me I was a good pup before we even left the driveway which is exactly how all great adventures should begin. I sniffed at least seventeen different bushes, investigated a Very Suspicious Leaf, and my walker supported me emotionally through that whole situation. They didn’t rush me at all and let me take my time because I am a professional sniffer and this is serious business. Five out of five treats. Will absolutely be walking again

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy.
