“Madison is an amazing cat sitter! My cat is extremely shy and rarely lets anyone pet her, but Madison was able to earn her trust and even get some pets in. She followed all of my instructions perfectly, including feeding, litter box maintenance, and cleaning up, and she went above and beyond by vacuuming my home. I could not be happier with her care and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a thoughtful and reliable sitter.”

“We've had Jenny over for both drop-in visits and overnight stays with our dogs. Our two particular pups can be a handful; we have one extremely energetic Australian Shepherd and one older, somewhat temperamental and anxious lab mix. Needless to say, they both require a lot of very different types of attention. Augi can display some fear aggression and she does really well with paying attention to his body language and giving him what he needs to calm down. Jenny is really great with them. She is extremely punctual even when we aren't and was very flexible when our plans had to change last minute--twice. We always feel like the dogs are more calm and attentive when we return than they have been with other sitters. Definitely recommend!”

“Betty is the best! She is so wonderful. Our cat loves her so much. She's always on time with her check-ins and always communicates with us. Will rebook with Betty again in the future!”

“Michelle was great with our cats! They really enjoyed their time with her and put us at peace if mind they would be taken care of while we were gone. Will certainly be using again in the future!!”

“Genny is an excellent and reliable caretaker. She was extremely professional and communicative when unexpected things came up in the course of caring for my pet. Highly recommend!”

“Alex is the BEST Rover sitter there is!! She’s been doing check-ins for my high energy golden retriever for close to a year, multiple times per week. Nahko absolutely loves her and her fiancé, Kenny, and gets so excited to see them! Alex is so knowledgeable and so good with dogs, and she’s been so flexible with last minute changes/requests. I will recommend her to any and everyone!!”

“Audrey was awesome with our very sensitive and nervous dog. She is super kind, attentive, and patient. She really understands dog body language and how to make them feel comfortable. Audrey was always on time and made sure Nibs had everything he needed to be happy. Thank you for taking care of our kiddo! 🩵🩵”

“Chris took care of my bunny on short notice, which I really appreciate! He was able to come over same day to grab a key/go over Bij’s routine. He was very communicative and left me detailed messages after his visits, I would ask him to watch my pet again!”

“Emily was very flexible and I appreciate that she took notes on care for Beasly. She provided detailed information on how the visits went and was very communicative! I highly recommend her!”

“Spencer was great with our senior pittie. He worked with her some on her separation anxiety. He arrived on time and left on time. He is a gem of a sitter and we look forward to having him back.”

“Evem due to short notice, she was able to help me! My back up of my backup had to cancel at the last minute. She was very professional and was able to get my dog to sit still for a bit of nail trim and brushing too!”

“I did a lot of research prior contacting Cesar. He was very responsive and professional. Will definitely be hiring Cesar again and highly recommend him to all my friends and family! 10 out of 10!”

About: I’ve grown up with dogs of all sizes, from large Labradors to small Yorkies, so I understand the needs of different breeds and temperaments. I worked for over a year at a dog daycare, where I gained hands-on experience with dog behavior, play, and care. I also have two dogs of my own, so I know what it takes to provide love, structure, and attention every day. I’m experienced with administering medications, including insulin shots, and am comfortable managing pets with special needs or health requirements. My goal is to provide safe, reliable, and loving care for every pet I watch. I have a fairly open schedule and can provide care from 8:00 AM to 8:00 PM most days. Thursdays are a bit more limited as I have a regular volunteer commitment, but outside of that I’m flexible. I’m in my final year of college, and all of my classes are online, which allows me to be available for pets throughout the day. I provide care in your home, so your pets can stay in the comfort of their familiar environment. I prioritize safety and always follow your instructions for feeding, walking, play, and any medications. I’m attentive and responsible, ensuring pets feel comfortable, happy, and loved while you’re away. I treat every home and pet with respect, and my goal is to give you peace of mind knowing your pets are in safe, caring hands.

About: Hi! I'm a stay-at-home mom looking to make some extra money doing things I love, spending time with animals and being active. I love walks, hiking, and a light jog if your pup enjoys running. With your permission I may bring my baby along for walks or house visits but if you prefer otherwise, I will happily accommodate to your needs. Your comfort and your pet's comfort always will come first. The more information you share about your furry best friend, the better! I love getting to know each pet’s personality, routines, and boundaries so I can avoid any uncomfortable situations and give them the best care possible. I value clear communication and will always follow your instructions closely. I’m also happy to help with small tasks like bringing in mail or watering plants at no extra charge! Pick a time and I will be there! I am free every day at any hour except Tuesday and Wednesday nights after 5:00 p.m. My schedule is very flexible to your needs. I run and hike with my dog but we also go on long walks along a nature trail. When my dog has the zoomies I like to take her outside to dog parks, play with her, or socialize with her. She gets freeze dried beef liver for her treats, raw hide, and dental chews. When I leave her alone, I like to set up some stimulation for her while I am gone such as hiding treats in puzzles, lick mats, etc. My favorite downtime with my dog is cuddling sessions, no human can mimic this feeling!!
About: I grew up in a home full of dogs, so caring for them has always come naturally to me. I’m comfortable with dogs of all sizes and energy levels, including large and high-energy breeds. I’ve also raised and trained my own high-energy dog, so I understand the importance of structure, consistency, exercise, and positive reinforcement. I live an active lifestyle and go on daily walks, which makes me a great fit for dogs who need movement and engagement. As a yoga instructor, I bring a calm, patient, and attentive presence — something dogs tend to respond really well to. My goal is always to create a safe, loving, and dependable experience for both you and your pup! Pet care fits very naturally into my weekly routine. I’m a yoga instructor, which gives me a flexible schedule throughout the week. I teach hour-long classes at various times, but outside of those, I’m available mornings through evenings Sunday–Saturday, with my latest availability around 7pm. Because my classes are only an hour at a time, I’m able to plan my day intentionally and prioritize the dogs in my care. I have plenty of flexibility for walks, drop-ins, and consistent scheduling. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I prioritize keeping their routine as consistent and stress-free as possible. I follow all care instructions closely — including feeding schedules, walk preferences, medications (if needed), and any behavioral guidelines. I bring a calm, attentive presence into the home and aim to create a safe, structured environment where your dog feels secure. Whether that means an energizing walk, playtime to burn off energy, or quiet companionship, I adjust based on your dog’s needs. I’m very respectful of clients’ homes and treat them with care and professionalism. I also provide regular updates and photos so you feel confident and connected while you’re away. My goal is for your dog to feel comfortable and cared for, and for you to have complete peace of mind.

Taylorsville pet parents share their Rover experiences
Alexus is absolutely amazing! She came over before our visit so we could get to know her and it was clear she loves cats! She was patient with our Simone who is rather shy around people and she was great with our older cat. She takes a lot of time making sure everything is taken care of and the cats are happy. We're looking forward to her taking care of Mayhem and Simone in the future.

Jessie took such good care of my cat while I was out of town. My cat has a lot of anxiety and has to be given a pill each day. Jessie was able to give it to him and made friends with him by the end of my trip - something few people have been able to do. Thanks Jessie!

Lydia was great with our cats while we were out of town. I had voiced concerns for our older cat who has some separation anxiety and she was very knowledgeable with signs of distress with cats and asked a lot of follow up questions to really understand the situation. She communicated updates very well on the days she stopped by. I felt so reassured our cats were doing well while we were out of town. I will definitely rebook with Lydia !

She was wonderful with giving us updates and making sure our dogs were taken care of. I get used to using the same person through Rover and when they leave I get nervous trying someone new, but Brandy was amazing! Thanks so much for taking good care of our puppies!
